Have been there a few times. Every time, it seems to get worse. I went last Thursday at 5:30pm. Food was not good. Sauces were very sticky and the meat was dry, like it had been sitting there for a long time. Tried multiple buffet items and all had a similar feel/taste. I decided to get some sushi. Big mistake. Most of rolls had avocado, which I like, however, all of the avocado had turned brown, which tells me that it had been sitting for an extended period of time, so I skipped that. I then turned to the crab legs. I grabbed 3 of them. Got back to my table, cracked open the first and smelled it and it was terrible. The meat was all gray and it smelled horribly. I then checked the other 2 legs and they were the same, including the claw. They then brought my bill. I went to the checkout and expressed my concern over the poor food and how someone is going to get sick, and the young kid almost chuckled and said sorry, and then asked for my payment. I asked to talk to a manager and he said that she wasnt here, but it was his mom and she owned the place. I am not a person that expresses my poor experiences publicly ever, but I feel like I need to with how bad the food was. I dont want to see anyone get sick from this place. I will not be going back to this place and I do not recommend anyone else do either.

Hands down, the worst place Ive ever eaten at. The waitress was terribly unfriendly-told my group to sit in a booth when we asked to sit in the back section; however customers who arrived behind us were seated in the back area. While we were there, the kitchen staff, in their uniforms, brought out a large bowl of food, scooped into their own bowls and ate together using several tables, just a few feet behind my table--quite awkward and unprofessional. The "chicken" item I ordered was slimy, large thin slices similar to turkey, and milky white-I was quite concerned for my health as I reviewed my plate, so asked to have the chef cook it more. It came back looking the same, so I gave up, paid $16 for a meal I took home in a take-out container, as I wasnt about to try to eat it. The next morning, my refrigerator stunk horribly due to this meal and I had to dispose of it outdoors the smell was so bad. Terrible experience on many levels.

Rule #1: Make sure you tip them. If you dont leave a good tip, they will remember you for that. The one time I didnt was due to poor service as they gave me one refill for my drink and basically shunned our table. The next time I came in, they gave me no refills but my colleague one. They had four servers crowd around the front desk staring at us but not provide us any refills? I mean, seriously? It was the most disrespectful thing Ive ever witnessed. Also, they have a mandatory 10% gratuity for parties of five? Please, Ill just split myself off from one group and dine separately if thats the case. This place used to care about customer service but evidently, thats changed a lot. And before anyone tries to jump on me for thinking this is "trivial", I ask you to try evaluating them without feeling obligated to tip out of courtesy.

The food was what youd expect from a Chinese buffet. Very regular. The atmosphere was uninviting. Plastered across the establishment were signs aggressively stating if you dont eat everything you take youll be charged extra. I felt like I was a kid being forced to clear my plate. Was the General Taos chicken any good? Ill never know. Im not about to take a scoop of it and be forced to eat it if I dont like it. My recommendations for the management would be to either remove those signs or introduce a made to order menu and get rid of the buffet. Like it or not, gluttons like me go to Chinese buffets so we can gorge ourselves and take a sampling of everything you have to offer. I would very likely have returned, but those signs were a signal that youre much more interested in the money in my wallet than the experience youre creating.

Im very disappointed with this place. I recently had surgery and Im on crutches with weight bearing restrictions. My family and I decided to eat here. As we were walking in I didnt see any wet floor signs and the floor didnt appear wet. As i crutched across the floor I wiped out completely hitting my back and Im not sure what else. As i was on the floor not ONE EMPLOYEE asked me if i was okay or even bothered helping me up. So I sat on the floor panicking because i could have re-injured myself. Finally my father-in-law picked me up I tried to crutch again and this time i slipped forward and hit there counter area where you pay. Once again no one reacted or said anything. So we left. So anyone with crutches or even elderly please be careful! I will never step foot into this place again.

Visited tonight, food was meh, I believe our server was Mandy, very unpersonable and seemed pushy. Sorta just did a fly by when she brought our drinks, never asked how we were doing, took our plates with uneaten food left on them. What really irked me was after she brought our bill, I barely had the money out of my wallet figuring what to leave for a tip and she was right there ready to grab the bill before I was ready to pay. I always tip 20% or more when I go out to eat, needless to say she got less than a dollar tip. Was not impressed with her. Something I was taught early on, "its the customer who signs your paycheck"

The newer waitress with black hair that seats you, is definitely not pleasant..she makes you feel as though you have inconvenienced her when you ask a question or make a request..and her sarcastic reponses are unacceptable, she is not a good fit for interacting with customers..spend some money on re-traing and respecting..or better yet, just replace her if you want customers to return. And keep the buffet full, especially when we are paying full price! How ridiculous can you get?! Asian Palace will be a thing of the past when word of mouth gets around.

Will not return. Went with friends and the 5 of us sat together at one table. When we went to pay the bill they charged us 10% automatically for being 5 or more. AT A BUFFET??? When I questioned it she said "it is the restaurant law." on top of that there are signs every where telling people they are going to get charged for food not eaten. This kind of nickel and dimming will make me go elsewhere from now on.

When they first opened a few years ago the food was excellent! However, they have gone down hill ever since. Most of the time I have been there the food is cold or stale. Long story short, AVOID this place. It seems they have lost pride and ownership in severing the Eau Claire area with guinean Chinese food. I am a big fan of oriental foods but this place has literally left a bitter taste in my mouth. Stay Away!
