Their serivce is absolutely terrible, and the employees are rude and unprofessional, not to mention theyve obviously not been trained on how to handle customer complaints. We called to order food, were put on hold for 15 minutes while we listened to the phone ring and others have their orders completed immediately. We were then hung up on before the employee bothered to see if someone was still on the line. We mistakenly called back to try again. Same person answered, we told him we would not hold and why. He took our order and when we asked if there would be some kind of discount for our horrible service, the response was "cmon man, whys it gotta be like that... I dont even get anything Im just a driver". No apology, nothing. Judging from the owners responses to complaints that Ive read here, they dont have much to work off of. Management, get it together. Teach your employees how to handle complaints, especially when its the fault of the restaurant. We will never be ordering from you again, well take our business somewhere that they actually care about their customers.

First time customers, and terrible first experience with their takeout. We ordered a Philly cheese and a burger with fries. It took an hour and a half to arrive on a Monday night, and I probably wouldnt have been upset at all about the timing if our fries and my sandwhich werent soggy as can be. My sand which was wrapped like jolly rancher in tinfoil, which seems pretty unappetizing even for a sandwhich, I literally could not eat my sand which because it was so soggy I gagged on the first bite. My gf had to pan sear our French fries to have something edible, and her burger was cold which defeated the entire purpose of ordering takeout. We attempted to call to request that someone please send us a new order or something, but no one answered. I get we called near closing time but u guys had a half hour before you closed when we called someone should of at least answered. Perhaps we caught you on a day you were short staffed and training a newbie, but dang after such high reviews from friends we hoped for much better. Dissapointed and hungry. Would love owner feedback.

We ordered chicken dinners from the Kentwood location a couple of weeks ago. They were great and we thought we had found our go to fried chicken place. We ordered a 15 piece boxed meal tonight and the chicken was horrible. Really spicy and I dont care for spicy chicken. Hubby who likes spicy took the skin and breading off so that he could even eat it. VERY disappointed. I called to ask about it and told them how unhappy we were. The manager asked me when the last time that we ordered from them was and I told him it was a couple of weeks ago. He said, "well, I dont know what to tell you, everything is the same. Ummm, no, it wasnt remotely the same or we wouldnt have ordered from you again. I can assure you, we wont make the mistake of ever ordering chicken from New York Fried Chicken again! Their food isnt consistent and their customer service is horrible!

Management change brought quality and portion size down. It took about 10 minutes to place a simple delivery order over the phone (no holding). I ordered the beef nachos and it came with a whopping 10 chips in a portion control styrofoam. In the past, this item was filling and portioned in a normal container with more chips. In addition, I ordered a chicken sandwich for a friend who is allergic to pickles. After clearly stating this twice, the sandwich came with pickles and she was unable to eat it. Not only are the portions out of control, but the service and competency is not as good as it used to be.

The people that answered the phone were very unprofessional they kept telling me to hold on talkin to another employee, wasbt paying attention when i was twllin thwm my order then i fot hung up on because the guy told me they didnt have something that thwy do have . i called back and spoke with someone diff and i ordered nd was told they wont come up to my apartment when you delivery you bring it to customers door i have kids and they e xexpect me to come downstairs to get my food. Never had a problem with this place until tonight the huy was very rude

I have gone to the division location many times as I really enjoyed the food BUT tonight they tried to scam me out of $10. My order came to $10.91 and I gave the guy $21.00 - He gave me 10 cents back and claimed I only gave him $11.00 - after arguing and finally just said give me my money back the goofball tried giving me only $11 back. I raised my voice and he finally gave me my $21.00 back. I will NEVER go back there as I am sure they are the type that will spit in your food. NEVER give them anything larger then a $5 bill. I am very upset!!!!!!

New York fried chicken is simply the best delivery ever and a really fun thing to eat on date night! TRY THEIR CHEESEBURGER....its the best fast food type burger ive ever had! Fried chicken is pretty good too and I love their cowslaw! When I order I dont get the fries because they werent anything special. Fried pickles are good and the Mac and cheese bites are AMAZING. They just hired a new woman for their staff and shes awesome with taking phone orders! Try them, you wont regret it.

Ordered from them due to ratings. However, the delivery people could not even get out of their vehicle to walk (deliver) the food. I am close....in heritage hill. I found that pathetic as there were two of them in the car listening to music. They pulled in the drive & called me. I went out to them, gave them a huge tip hoping the food was better than the delIvery service. Nope. And nope again. I was so disappointed. Service terrible, food horrible, ordering was brutal. Never again.

I call to place a order and let me tell you there was so must noise at the place after tell the guy six time he then under stood the order. OK i thought that was bad but after telling the guy my Credit card number 10 time i ask him please go some were less noisy or ill place an order some were else and he hung up on me i am thank full i did go place my order some were else at New York Chicken it was over $100.00 but at the other place it was only 78.90

I ordered delivery through GH site. I ordered an 8pc chicken with coleslaw and mashed potatoes. One word comes to mind, flavorless. The chicken had 0 flavor and it was very dry and I typically like well cooked meat. The mashed potatoes screamed they were out of a box. FAIL. I did in fact like the coleslaw but for 28 bucks, never again. Maybe they have better burgers or something but I will never know and I am not sad about it.
