My wife and I eat there at least 2-3 times a week. When we first started eating there we went 5 days a week for lunch!!! The lunch special is very inexpensive and you get a full entree, fried rice, an eggroll and a crab rangoon. Oh and you also get a huge bowl of soup! The owners are very friendly and we small talk every visit. After sampling almost everything on the menu Ive settled on my favorite, General Tsos Chicken! With added onions and bell peppers! But everything else on the menu is equally delicious! I dont mean to be so bias, but asian pearls food is far superior to all the other "chinese restaurants" in Zachary.

The waiter has a photographic memory. He can remember what you had last time, even if it was a couple of years ago, and will ask if you want the same thing...and will get every detail, right down to what you had to drink correct. Its amazing. My mom and I are regulars and always get the same thing. We came in the other day after a year or so and he had our drinks at the table even before we sat down, and he brought out our usual.....garlic shrimp and crab rangoons for mom - egg rolls, hot and sour soup, and szechuan beef with an extra bowl of hot chili sauce for me....

I have eaten at hundreds of Chinese restaurants in numerous countries around the world (including several cities in China). Of the dishes I have ordered, each was prepared to the best of my expectations. The hot and sour soup is superb and well done. I usually eat there for lunch, but have eaten dinner once. There is no difference in the quality of the food from one to the other. The lunch menu is priced very well for what you get. The service is good and of the many Chinese restaurants I have eaten in Baton Rouge and around Louisiana, this is the best.

This place is amazing! The food is always extemely delicious and the customer service is absolutely amazing. I have eaten here for about 5 years now and havent once been disappointed. They have a lot of different options to choose from, and I recommend the Pao Pao platter for an appetizer. It is extremely appeasing to look at, but I will let it be a surprise as to why once it gets to the table:)

Great food, terrific service, friendly staff, love this place! Since moving to Zachary over 8 years ago I have dined in & ordered take out from Asian Pearl on a regular basis. I have NEVER had a bad experience with them. Sesame chicken is my favorite. My son & fiancé & I LOVE the donuts for dessert. You cant go wrong whether you dine in or carry out. Food is always ready within 20 minutes.

I would give this place 5 stars, because the food is really very good, but they dont offer delivery. Take-out and dine-in only. I would eat there much more often if that option were available. On the plus side, Ive never had anything I didnt like there. I highly recommend the General Tsos chicken and the crab rangoon. Best Ive had!

Best Chinese food around, and if you havent had their fried dumplings, you havent lived. Of all the Chinese places Ive been to around the country, Asian Pearl has the absolute best dumplings / potstickers (whichever you prefer to call them) Ive ever had. Their lo mein is also excellent, as is their kung pao chicken.

Great Chinese restaurant. The staff will get to know you on a first name basis. They are very friendly and a part of the Zachary community. The food is top notch. The place is clean. The speed of service is average. You will not be disappointed coming here, and you will come back.

The service is always quick and friendly at Asian Pearl. However, I went for lunch recently and had the pork lo mein. The pork tasted so badly freezer burned that it wasnt edible. The noodles were fine though. I probably wont be going back as a result of this experience.

I have been here several times and the food has always been good and plentiful. If you are not going to lunch, it can be a little pricy. Ive yet to find something on the menu that hasnt been good. The decor could use some work as its starting to show its age.
