If you are a college student, or just someone wanting to get great food at a great price, this is the place for you. I have been coming to this for the past 5 years and have never been disappointed once. The lunch buffet is great as other users have mentioned, and if you are not ordering lunch, the rest of the menu is very good. I have had most of their dishes and they do not disappoint. The pork dumplings are particularly tasty. Also, if you are ordering takeout its always "10 minutes" to be ready over the phone, and most of the time, outside of their big lunch and dinner rushes, it is pretty on point. The inside is not decorated fancy or anything, but it is always clean. The staff too is always nice. Overall I woud give this restaurant a 9/10. You cant beat it.

Rice is not cooked properly and i told her, she argued with me all are same. i hate it, i was hungry and i have half boiled rice i throw the food in trash and left the restaurant. she was careless and rude.she dont know how to communicate with the customers. she dont know how to treat customers. she got attitude, who cares they lost there business. Lot of my friends complain same issue. The person with attitude is not good for business. if she work like that by the end of next year they will close their restaurant for sure.

Nine Dragon is my favorite Chinese takeout in the area... Their varieties of fried and coated chicken are great (Singapore, Amazing, Sesame, and General Tsos). Theyre quick to prepare things and the serving line special for lunch is a good deal. Its not fine dining by any means, but its far better than fast food.

Best Chinese in Baton Rouge and best take out! I drive all the way from Central just to get my fix and its absolutely worth it. Small place but the food is spot on, fast service and well priced. And during lunch hours they have a $6.00 buffet selection that is perfect! I love Nine Dragons!

This is not the first time I order sweet and sour chicken and get to work to find no sweet and sour sauce in the bag. Its not my job to check the bag and Im usually in a hurry. Im not going here anymore. Tired of this. What good is sweet and sour chicken with out the sweet and sour?

typical Chinese joint. The only thing i would say is not to get the coconut chicken because i ate it and my stomach was feeling awful for the next 5 days and my brother ate it as well recently and his stomach is feeling awful! its a shame cause its so good

i love this place! they give alot of lomein and rice chicken is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside!!! and their pan fried dumplings are my sec fav!!!!! i have top 3! they super good! and unlike most chines places the cashier is super cool dude!

The lunch buffet is very good and fresh. Ive never become sick, and Ive eaten here several times. I will also say to avoid the The Chinese Restaurant on Nicholson. I could not eat that mandarin chicken. Disgusting. Nine Dragon is fast and fresh.

Never again. What I ordered obviously sat under a heating lamp or something. No flavor because it had been sweating for so long, chicken was very hard almost inedible. It sucks paying nearly 8 bucks for something that was a chore to eat.

really cheap and delicious. you will have a hard time eating it all in one sitting. my favorites are the sesame, teryaki, and the amazing chicken. you wont be dissapointed. ps. the rice is much better than the noodles

I like the combo deal of 4 entrees in one plate. Food is good enough, and I am never bored with their food as their long-time customer. Its quite convenient for me if I want to have a Chinese fast decent cuisine.

Food is great here, its not greasy and its very inexpensive. Ill disagree with the other reviewer and actually say to avoid the Chinese Restaurant on Nicholson at all costs. 9 Dragon is 1000 times better.

I found feathers it my chicken dish, an unplucked chicken had been used to prepare my dish. Also the entire staff has a real bad case of dandruff that tends to end up in your food. Its bad news all around

Best Chinese food near LSU. There are a lot of really bad Chinese restaurants around. I highly recommend this one. You can order any dish spicy. Their sauteed veggies are great -- try the Buddhist Delight

As all of the Chinese takeout places seem to have the same menu, this one has the fresher ingredients and friendliest staff. I have another one down the road from me but I make the trek here ever time.

I give this place one star because.... never mind... worst food ever! Even my starving college student wouldnt eat her meal! But at least The mozzarella sticks next-door at sonic were delicious

This is my favorite Chinese restaruant in the LSU area. They have a lunch "buffet-lette" that is great. You can choose from 4-5 items for around $5 with a drink.
