This is place is incredibly unprofessional. My friend ordered her wedding cake at B & W Bakery. She paid in full and told them to delivery it between 4:00pm and 4:30pm. When we called the hall at 4:40 to see if the cake had arrived, it had not and the bride was almost there. When the bride called to find out where the cake was, they at first didnt know what she was talking about and then said "Oh its still here, well bring it there now." UNEXCEPTABLE. I then called them back and asked the manager to refund my friends delievery deposit since they were late and she paid in full. He then asked me why should he do that because the cake is on its way. When I told him he didnt do his job he then said to me "Do you want the cake delievered or Not" I then told him if it is not there when the bride arrives she will speak to her attorneys and hung up. The cake did arrive and the delivery girl had the gull to say she was lost, when they told the bride it was still in the shop. If your getting married, go elsewhere, unless you want your cake not to show up and deal with nasty management.

Looking at Googles photos of B&W Bakery, I am very pleased to know that B&W hasnt changed one bit! All of the deserts are still in the same placement, the crumb cake still looks delicious, I even recognize two of the staff members in this picture! I miss B&W, and I also miss working for Mr. Kim! Disregard any ill comments made towards the bakery, this place is somewhere you need to indulge in yourself before your are able to form any decision on it. Oh what I would do for Mr. Kim to branch out and sell his crumbcakes by mail!

Best Bakery by far. As for the person who wrote the review about the wedding cake that was delivered late, you might want to do a spell check before posting especially if your writing one of your words in all CAPS. The correct word is UNACCEPTABLE. Check it out if you dont believe me. As for Mr. Moist, why dont you go to Carlos in Hoboken after a good rain, Im sure youll find everything will be quite moist:-)

People are walking in to this place all hours of the day and the girls behind the counter have always been nice. Of course, it always smells delicious inside. I havent tried everything yet, but only because I keep getting my favorites. Parking is easy on the street right in front or in the Target lot next door.

Been visiting here since the early seventies. Every Thanksgiving wed come from Boston to visit family. This was the place. Every chance I get Ill still stop in for the crumbcake. Dont care if the recipe has changed or the owners or whatever. Still the best ccake Ive had.

Due to the great ratings here, I went there this past Sunday and bought a broad sample of items, including the famous crumb cake. Everything was extremely dry, as if they were stale. I prefer moist pastries myself. I wont be going back.

Excellent cakes, cupcakes, and coffee cakes. For as long as I can remember, any time theres a special occasion my family gets a cake from this Bakery. Not once has it been a disappointment. It can get pretty busy but its worth the wait.
