i actually have really enjoyed the food at the cafe and purchased at the market next door. the market however, you need to pay attention to your bill. i have been there twice to that side and both times they not only charged me incorrectly- in their favor- but when i brought it to their attention- BOTH TIMES- they didnt correct it, just said sorry. without anything further. the second time i went back in and asked for the manager that did actually offer to correct it, not enough to have me take him up on it but i left with the feeling that this is a regular occurrence. its a shame too because i would shop there on practically a daily basis but hesitate to do business with staff that realizes they overcharged and doesnt JUMP to fix it. makes me wonder... sad...

The patio was an amazing beautiful perk to this delicious little gem. I got the Frittata with cucumber relish which was good but there were too many flavors and a crust for any of them to really be complemented and stand out. My friend got the Huevos Rancheros and liked that chips were replaced by a tortilla and mango and pineapple complemented the otherwise savory meal. The twist pastry and iced coffee we shared was delicious. Very friendly staff and fun community vibe.

Their food is pretty tasty, and their gluten free bread is actually very good (I wish they sold it by the loaf). Unfortunately, they never smile, the cafe attendants are a little prudish and they always burn their espresso drinks. I would stick to getting the food and tea or a cold drink. The little Market is stock full of delicious side dishes and tons of cookbooks.

Picked this place for breakfast instead of our hotels restaurant in Laguna Beach. No regrets. You order and pay at the counter so your meals come quick, which is nice on a busy morning. Tables are first come first serve. Service is efficient, ambiance is great and the breakfast food was good and reasonably priced for a high-rent district.

I love Zinc Cafe & Market! The food is so good and the staff is superb! I love coming for breakfast they use groundworks coffee so you know its bomb. Their chilaquiles are off the chain and their poached egg entrees are done right. Worth every penny and Im never disappointed! Thanks for always making my morning mochas delicious!

This is a casual eatery. You order at the counter and pay. They give you a pager to let you know that your email is ready. Seating is first come first serve. I had the quiche with toast and fruit. It was very good. My wife had the eggs and bagel. Also very good. Coffee is Intelligenistia and was excellent.

Went here with my girlfriend this morning after a local lady recommended it for good coffee. Being Australian and very fussy, we were both so impressed. The mocha was amazing and the food was awesome. Would definitely recommend the smashed avo, such a good start to the morning and we are still very full!!

The Zinc is one of Laguna Beachs special Cafes, the favorite of locals and tourists. The location has a market and coffee shop as well as an outdoor dinning area is very popular. The staff is very professional and friendly. They go out of their way to make their customers enjoy the visit.

Table was filthy and wasnt cleaned for 10 min due to the absent minded staff. Have to queue to order food and salad was ok but not exceptional. Having said all that, its a lovely garden setting that should be matched with great food and service, but unfortunately isnt.

Love going to this place to get healthy food. My only complaint is that there never seems to be enough help during their busy times and they dont have the best service and dont always clean the tables in between diners. The food is the best, however!

Hands down the best vegetarian restaurant in laguna! The coffee drinks from an espresso to a late are well done. The service can be a little snobby and the seating sometimes is tight but its worth it.
