The first time we went there for Dinner. We ordered from the Menu. Goat Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala were good. Goat Biryani is also too good.But the next time which is yesterday on a Sunday we went for Buffet. Very bad food. All the curries looked like with lots of water rather than the ingredients. The utensils they put the curries in are not so clean. Very less food in the utensils. As soon as we enter they did not show us even a place to sit until we ask for one. One of the staff member is very rude. 2 times in a row he is very rude and did not know how to attend the customers. But definitely not a good place for Buffet. Very bad quality of food.Usually weekend is the time when lot of people come. Weekend buffet is very bad means and I could not imagine how a weekday buffet would be. May be worst of worst.

My friend and I very much enjoyed the food. As the reviewer above stated, you have your choice of spiciness which is a plus. When we first walked in, the air was filled with a very strong spice and our eyes immediately started watering and we started coughing with a scratchy throat feeling. After we were seated, 3 women entered and immediately started coughing, eyes watering, then one by one, everybody in the restaurant started doing the same thing. The best part was, we ALL had a really good laugh! Food was great, had fun!

Too much Garlic on menu items......Buffet O.K. Initially went in for buffet meal, which was pretty good/O.K. - its a buffet cant go wrong. But went again for dinner and was displeased with food, orders 5 different items and was all terrible. I didnt want to stay and dispute food - I would recommend for buffet only, then again a Chinese buffet has more variety, for less $.......

CT has a few wonderful Indian Restaurants, among which is Coromandel. While Baingan not the end all and be all of Indian (does such a thing exist?) I can comfortably say that it is the Best Indian food Ive encountered in CT. Their Fish Tikka Masala brought my to tears the first time I had it, and the same can be said for many of their other dishes, Im sure.

Love this place, never thought Id like Indian food, but they offer to prepare it at any level of spice youd like....we love the thin crisp snack bread they give you with the 3 sauces while you wait....staff very pleasant and food is delicious! And they offer good rice pudding at the end of the meal for no charge.

We have been to the restaurant several times. The staff is excellent & view from hotel is very appealing. Both the sit down & buffet are excellent. I have ordered food for some parties and guest have praised the food. The quantity is also decent and priced reasonable.

Visited this place as part of a huge group for lunch buffet and the food was just average and nothing to rave about. This may be the option for Indian food in this specific area, but have definitely had better Indian food, just few miles from here...

Once a week we order take out and the restaurant delivers it to our workplace. The food is always delicious, and I love the naan bread. Having a choice of spiciness (mild, med, hot, extra hot) in the meal is a plus. Highly recommended.
