I went this morning (Saturday) around 10:30am for breakfast. The place was crowded (usually a good sign) and we had to wait about 15-20min for a seat for two. The waitress was quick and polite. My spouse and I perused the menu prior to sitting down so we both knew what we wanted. He ordered the po boy and fries... I had the farmers boy which is home fries, veggies, sausage, and scrambled eggs w. cheese & gravy along w. a biscuit. The po boy came with salad-size tempurad shrimp as opposed to the huge thickly-battered version. I thought this was strange but they were well-seasoned and obviously freshly fried. My husband said he preferred them because he got shrimp throughout his sandwich instead of just a few bites. The fries were hot & fluffy and they came with a container of what we thought was deliciously made romalaude on the side (more on that later). He really enjoyed everything, said it was very tasty. My breakfast, you could tell someone peeled and cut all the potatoes, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. No prepacked or frozen food here. The sausages (I had extra on the side) were beautifully plump and tasty. The gravy was delicious and the eggs perfectly cooked. We enjoyed it all. SO.... back to the sauce. Later on, I picked up some shrimp to roast at home and noticed Publix no longer had the Boars Head roumalaude sauce (forgive my spelling) so I asked my husband if we could stop at Broadway and pick up some sauce, because it was delicious. When he ran in to get it, the manager let us know that it was not roumalaude but a chipotle mayo ! Either way, it was tasty so we didnt mind one bit :) We will be back !

This place use to be fantastic. We ate there regularly but recently its been changing. Today we had 2 diners. Grouper and a BLT plate. Veggie with grouper was Okra-- mine was not even warm. Told the waitress who took it back. She came back from the kitchen and said there "making it fresh" for you. I didnt know that included picking it and cutting it up. When i finished eating she came back and said "they didnt bring it to you?" Who is they? She was waiting on us-- S H E didnt bring it back. Wifes BLT sandwich was good-- fries were cold. Hey folks its 20 feet to the kitchen-- your serving cold food. When its sent back -- you never get it back. I waited to tell the owner until I paid -- wasnt looking for any adjustment or freebie. He said why didnt you let me know? Hey I sent it back with my waitress-- what was I suppose to do go running to the front end--- to complain to him. I was complaining at check out. I did pay good money for the meal by the way. So now were rethinking breakfast places. Maybe Gordon Ramsey needs to drop in and rattle some cages over there. NAW....

I have to be honest, Im not sure if this Fayetteville location is affiliated with the now closed location in Lovejoy, GA. However the Lovejoy location, was not the restaurant to be if you want a consistent product, friendly service, consistent food and me being black didnt help! the owner was rude and basically asked me to leave when I about complained waiting for 45 minutes for a tuna melt, and my daughters food was improperly cooked. Just to discover that they had run out of cheese for my order and once I mentioned to the server that I might have a friend that is a reporter stop by the establishment and report on these inconsistencies and rudeness, she told the owner, who told me and my 7 year old daughter to leave. They also had a D rating, always check the ratings in restaurants, I work with food safety The manager was also a family member, who was dismissive and rude on the three occasions that I visited. I was happy that the location closed down, my daughter , said, "Yeah mommy, you made the rude people go out of business"! out of the mouth of babes!

It was okay!!! Nothing to rave about....The service was great but the food left a lot to be desired....I had the fried catfish that had a batter type coating on it that I did not care for. Also, I like my eggs scrambled soft and they arrived kind of runny...Grits were okay. As for the desert, it looks good but I was not impressed. I ordered the Lemon Cake, because I heard this guy talking about how good it was, but I did not it like it. Additionally, I ordered 2 chocolate chunk cookies that I did not care for. My son liked them (Idk if theres a cookie on earth that he doesnt like?!?! ) Overall, you will get that diner feel and southern hospitality but the food will be lacklustre!!!

I person would ignore the person who gave this restaurant a one star. The food tastes amasing. My experiences with this place gets better and better. For the price you pay you get a lot of food and I mean a lot! I go out and eat a lot and I am a heath nut freak. These people are the kindest and friendliest people I have met at a restaurant to make my order as I want it. Now if you are a person that expects your salmon or mahi mahi to be cooked in like 2 minutes you are insane and should never become a food critic. For the taste and service you get here I dare you to eat here then go someone else and find some place better!

I only gave one star because I had to. But the service and food is horrible. I have been more than once bu5 I always ordered the same thing which is shrimp and grits. Never paying attention to the additional party returning food and getting the wrong order. So today I decide to order something different. Lord is was horrible. The wings were burnt and hard. I asked for lemon pepper and receive extra Cajun. The potato salad tasted pale if pale could be a taste. The ribs horrible. The waiter was omg deaf and telling us what we ordered. The owner didnt care. The cashier acted deaf. Will never return.

This is not the restaurant to be if you are black. I have had not one but several bad experiences at this restaurant. I have had to ask for basic things like bread. I have had servers who I have had to get up and hunt down. I had receipts given with no suggestive sell. I was even once almost charged 20 bucks for a salad. And the checkout folks are not any better. They are good at being able to seat a lot of folks but not serve a lot of folks. They are good at giving you solid food at outrageous prices and they are good at serving whites but not so good at serving blacks.

I drive by this place all the time and finally tried it last week. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. The only reason Im taking off 1 star is because I was a tad disappointed that a diner didnt have pot roast on the menu. Given the size and scope of the menu, that was a glaring omission. Nonetheless, I had the lasagna; my husband had the chicken fettuccine alfredo, and we had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. Next time, well nix the app and try the amazing looking desserts!
