This not for the food. This is for the attitude of few of the service staff in this restaurant. I have been living in JSQ for the past 3 months and have been a regular to this diner(especially for dinner). The food is refreshing and being a regular, I have had the opportunity of being served by almost all their evening staffs. I have always noticed that I have been treated little differently by two white female staff really different with their attitude and I avoid as much as possible when I find a table for my dinners. I havent really considered that to be anything specific to my race (I AM ASIAN) that attributed to their different attitude initially. However the epitome of craziness happened this evening when I and my friend went for dinner and my friend wanted hot water as he wasnt feeling good. There says one of this white lady who served, " We charge you for tea, if you need hot water"; I asked , " Do you have the charges listed in Menu" She replies: "No"; We were disappointed and left to pay the check, there we see this lady complaining to the White lady about what my friend asked and they sarcastically laugh. We made our point clear with the person in charge of billing that we are done with this place. The food is still better in this place, but If you end up feeling inferior just because are not them, you know what, we came out sulking and dont want to be there. I am not making a recommendation here but I feel obliged to mention as no one like me shall face the same situation.

Es un restaurante realmente bueno, muy buen servicio, muy buenas porciones y el sabor es delicioso, muchas opciones de comida y ademas económico, algo malo debe tener, pero mi esposo y yo (Mexicanos) quedamos realmente satisfechos cada vez que vamos, tanto así, que se ha convertido en uno de nuestros favoritos restaurantes por el momento :) It is a really good restaurant, very good service, very good portions and the taste is delicious, many food options and also economic, something bad must have, but my husband and I (Mexicans) were really pleased every time we go, so much so , which has become one of our favorite restaurants at the moment :)

The VIP is Jerseys very own CHEERS where everyone you get to know by name VIP Diner is a place you go to when your bored at home or when you need to get away from the Norm. Its also the place where you can bring friends, acquantances, family....etc and have something to remember. Why? Having my first few experiences that would have earned them with a half a star i swore not to ever go back there again. Being the only nearest food place open 24 hrs from where I live I went back expectingly preparing for the worst. Now if youve only been there once or twice, regardless of the experience you may have had, next time you go back or plan to go back expect the worst. WAIT....!! I know but when you go back thinking this way youll see how awesome this place really is. When you can, Pay attention to the regulars and the wait staff how they interact and converse. Its not only the most realistic show youll ever see of a diner life but the most realistic people youll ever meet. Youll slowly get to know them and find how great they are and how good the food is after. Not saying thats the only way the food is appreciated neither the food there may not be 5 stars but honestly can pass for 3 stars.which is way better then anything Ive had around for miles.

Nice people, very polite, though thats not what restaurants are about. Now lets get to the meat of the review, just like my fiance and I got the meat of the food, and then promptly dropped it, ran and then almost gagged to death on our gular contractions due to revulsion. Right now Im trying to find ways to quell her maelstrom of a stomach (brought about by this garbage - stricken culinary abomination). We arrived at the restaurant, and we were promptly seated, the waitress and ourselves exchanged kind remarks, and then we were served our "food". The food was bland, poorly presented and it looked fairly aged. The worst part was the taste. The penultimate horror was the cost, which was approximately forty dollars. If you are not a masochist, please, dont eat here. In fact, do not eat here if youre a masochist, youll just support "VIP Diners" (V.I.P. is probably an acronym for "Verily, Ill puke!") business of upsetting peoples stomachs. I wouldnt recommend this place to a sadist either, because then they would end up suffering themselves. My fiance still has a stomach ache. Just please, please, please dont go here.

Had a Greek Moussaka there, which is supposed to be one of the "safe" dishes there that they usually make well. That thing arrived and there were no zuchinis or potatoes AT ALL in my plate, only a big pile of overcooked melted cheese with tomatoe sauce, very odd. I needed a spoon to eat it and it litterally looked like someone had puked into my plate. It is more than obvious that the kitchen staff doesnt give a s**t, the waitresses are too busy talking among themselves or texting to care and the management doesnt care either. I ve been there many times before when it was good but this is my second bad experience on a row and im not going back. My local friends and roommates have also had bad experiences there and stopped going... Management, if you read this, wake up!

One of the worst dining experiences. When we told the waiter we wanted dessert only she just walked away without saying a word. When she finally came back I had ordered the lemon meringue pie. The waitress went away for our orders and then came back and told me no I couldnt have what I ordered because it was falling apart and she was just going to throw it away. So I ordered blueberry pie instead. I dont know who the hell is baking these pies and pastries, but it was the nastiest piece of pie ever. It tasted like canned blueberry and it wasnt even slightly sweet. Horrible service, horrible food.

The worst experience had in my life especially with the food service. We had order the steak medium done but they made it well done, so we told the server to please check with the chef but the guy never comes back to us... after 20 mins we had ask about the food and find out the manager had cancel our order without letting us know. The lady was so rude that did not even serve us she was loud. I will never go to this place. I m so embarrassed to take my family there. Never this mistake again. The manager should take a class on how to talk to customers for sure.

I just parked my car in my driveway from leaving this restaurant. I must say, I HAD THE WORST SERVICE. The only time I seen my waitress brought my food and when it was time for the check. I told the manager about my horrible service and kind of laughed the entire time he was justifying the terrible service. I in tern said "maybe the problem isnt the servers - maybe the problem is you. " I would think thrice the next time its late and Im hungry.- the hunger pain isnt worth the aggravation.
