Came with a military family and had never been to the establishment before. I asked politely what suggestions they had and our entire party was treated with disrespect and no consideration for OUR needs. We just wanted to know about good vegetarian options and felt swept away under the rug. Was forced to order something I didnt want because they rushed me and we had men in dress uniforms. I loved the enviornment fast service but there needs to be more emphasis on customer service upfront. I will still come back and atleast what I ordered taste great.****Upon writing this review we recieved immediate customer service to rectify the situation amd a free plate of cookies. Happy to say this deserves 5 stars. And will be reccomending this to others. Thank you!!!

Im late on reviewing this Deli shop. Twice have I been there and they havent disappoint. Loved their Mac and cheese soup and their potato soup isnt bad but it lacks salt. The one sandwich that set the stone for me to be returning customer, is the Italian Panini. I kid you not, this gave me flashbacks of me enjoying a panini in Rome when I did study abroad a few years ago. The taste, the smell, it all harbored back to that amazing time. The place is tedious to find is my complaint. Lovely interior simply because its a refurbished home. Their cookies are brilliant and their selection of teas is a major plus. But I definitely say its worth trying out.

Cant go wrong with the spinach chicken sandwich. Chicken tortilla soup is one of the best in town. The half sandwich and soup lunch combo with those two will leave you happy with your choice, satisfied and full. I go with my co-workers who have ordered other sandwiches/wraps/soups and Ive never heard a complaint (and were in a profession in which were paid to have opinions). Even when its packed at lunch time (which is every day), service is fast and the staff is friendly, but if you only have a half hour for lunch, call in your take out order.

Outstanding service and great-tasting food. Seriously these guys off to themselves in creating an environment that is welcoming and always receptive to your needs. I have a friend who has food sensitive allergies and they were able to accommodate them with absolutely no barriers. Come here if you want to get yourself a nice sandwich Torchys from the different products that they have on their menu everything is amazing

After asking for an order, I met with Michael, who is one of the owners. He was rude, disrespectful and condescending when requesting something. He spoke to me as if I was wasting his time and like there are better things for him to do. There is another way with doing things than being unapproachable. After interacting with him, he left a bad taste in my mouth and encourage me to never visit again.

Service and food were both awesome. We went Saturday after visiting the Doseum with our two kids. Staff treated them and my wife and I awesome. That and the butterscotch and black salt cookie is why Im going to make more trips. Nice vibe in the older house and considering taking my team from work as you can reserve the upstairs.

Was in town for work and a co-workers traveling with me insisted that we go there for lunch. It was amazing! I had the turkey avocado wrap, a cup of chicken tortilla soup and lemonade. The price was right for the meal I was provided. Loved the atmosphere and the service. If ever in town again I will ensure I go there.

ok the food is awesome, but my experience with the staff or manager has ruined it for me. The bald guy with glasses pretty much scolded me when THEY got my order wrong. I called to get them to bring my missing food and was not angry and when he showed up he was so rude I was rendered speechless

Went Saturday (2/26) and they were completely closed. Only a sign saying they were not their for a catering event. We drove all the way from Helotes to try this place. You should not be expected to call ahead, or check Facebook to see if the restaurant is open, this is not a food truck.

The hours on the website for W.D.Deli will show you correctly that the hours on Saturday are 11 to 4. The Google results from a search show *incorrectly* that the deli is open both Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 until 5. How can we get this changed to the correct information?

Awesome sandwiches and more awesome desserts. The hot pastrami is on point, and the carrot cake is decadently perfect. But my favorite thing is the flavored brewed teas. You have to try this place out for lunch if you are anywhere nearby.

Great sandwiches, awesome desserts and an atmosphere that takes you away from the daily grind, even if just for al unch hour. The managment clearly puts their heart and soul into this place. Youd be remiss not to give it a try

My husband and I love this place. The food is phenominal, the people are very warm and personable and the decor is very inviting. No frills...If you want to feel "at home" this is your place. I very much recommend it.

Best cookies ever. Sandwiches are good, but kind of on the small side. Got a reuben that was tasty, but was as basic as it comes. Dont expect Food Network featured restaurant food here, just regular tasty sandwiches.

I heart WD. Tuna melt is especially yum but everything is good. Great desserts too. Locally owned and you will see them every time you go. Great atmosphere and cozy feel. I always find myself back at their table.

Cozy spot in an old turn of the century house. Good food, simple, but fresh. You can tell they emphasize their catering service, but still manage to run a nice storefront.

Really good deli, came here for lunch a while back and the food was simple and delicious. Youre dining in a converted house, its charming and nice. Staff was friendly!

All sandwiches are good, esp Italian panini & spinach chicken salad. And dont leave without trying the Ranger cookie or Lemon cookie aka cookie of the month!

Nice and casual, different stuff, original, feels good to be there and the food was good. I only feel like the salad had too much dressing.

Nice atmosphere and very good lunch. If youre at the Witte or the Doseum definitely stop in. They also have a decent vegetarian menu.
