This should be negative 10 stars specifically told the woman that took my order $45 worth that I am gluten intolerant can not eat anything with flour in it which includes Gravy. Ordered my sons food and she asks me can he have gravy I said he can. So 25 minutes later our food is ready Guess what his food is fine mine is completely covered and saturated in you guessed gravy! Take it back to the counter and the cook says it was not put in the order, and the person that took my order claims to have not heard the whole 5 minute conversation with me about flour. So the cook hands me the food covered in gravy back and says there is nothing they can do because that is how I ordered it! A bunch of liars and thieves $45 and I could not even eat. So if you want to be robbed and poisoned head on over otherwise stir clear.

I used to get food from here often. Today was the last day I will ever eat there. First I go in there and the person answering the phones is also taking money and preparing the food. At first I thought she was very dedicated and hard working. (I still do hats off to her). Then out walks a woman and man and they do nothing. Didnt even attempt to help the lady doing everything. Then the door opens and another employee is sleep slumped over in a chair sleep. I used to love it here but thats a thing of the past. Then the food was horrible. Burned meatloaf watery mac and cheese. Horrible customer sevice. Poor appearance and Bad tasting food. Never again

I love everything about this resturant. It has a great family feel. You can get a great laugh with the employees and they always give you more than your dollars worth. I always have enough left over for the next day and even when I warm it back up, its just as good the next day as the day I bought it. The prices are fair considering the amount of food you get. I always come here when I dont feel like cooking. The Turkey Chops are my favorite.

The customer service is great and the food is awesome!!!! My first time here....Ive been trying to find a good soul food restaurant for a long time and I was very pleased....the ribs falling off the bone....bake beans with ground beef.....oven baked Mac n cheese....the greens had turkey meat or something in them but they were great....the dressing was awesome.....I recommend anyone to eat here!!!! If I could select more stars I would!!!!

Its been over two years since I saw a sign on someones car advertising Me and My Girls. I said since there was no real soul food place on the east side, I wanted to try them out. Ive been coming ever since. The food, the dessert and kool-aid is on jam! The service and prices are worth it. Me and My Girls is much better than that place on Harper!

THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT. I TRAVEL FROM THE SUBURBS FOR IT. THE MAC & CHEESE, BAKED OR FRIED CHICKEN DIPPED IN THAT BBQ SAUCE IS DELICIOUS. THE YAMS AND RIBS ARE ENJOYABLE. ALSO THE PRICES ARE MORE THAN FAIR ESPECIALLY BECAUSE THE FOOD IS GREAT AND BIG PORTIONS!
