We had a nice, casual dinner at Kathmandu Kitchen. The Vegetable Momos are sticky-chewy and tasty, and surprisingly filling. You could make a dinner out of just an order of those, plus a side dish or dessert. The Palak Paneer was good, but too creamy for my taste; I prefer to taste the spinach. The Traditional Lamb Curry was our favorite. We had it "American spicy", which produced a slow burn. The Garlic Basil Naan was very good, and I havent seen that type of naan at many Indian restaurants. I also had the Salt Lassi, which was fluffy and tart. They were playing Bollywood videos above the bar, and they had a good belly dancer. We had polite servers too. Finally, the location in Downtown Davis makes it easy to park your car once and wander around for the evening. Well be back next time were craving Indian food in Davis.

They have a good selection of foods. The naan bread was not hot out of oven, rather been sitting there for a while. Other foods were good. Service was terrible. The waitress (not sure if she was the owner also) does not smile or even talk to you. She is like an inanimate object. Also the atmosphere is dark and with tasteless loud bollywood music playing. In the nutshell, I would not go there again even if the food was good.

This place is disgusting. It looks like they have never wiped the benches off. I tried to get the waiters attention to order a drink; he just looked at me, said "hi" and walked off. The food was ok, but given the cleanliness of the seating area, I question the cleanliness of the kitchen. I will never return.

Excellent, well spiced dishes. The naan is good, but not the best I have had in Davis. I tried 4 different dishes and 3 of them were excellent while one was disappointing. The lamb and the chicken were very good. Somewhat pricy, but as of this writing its possible to get a discount through Groupon.

I only liked the Lamb Coconut there. The rice, I believe, was cooked with Coconut juice or oil, which made a perfect complement to the Lamb Coconut curry. Its my favorite after school dinner. Service however, was terrible, especially that woman idling behind the bar counter.

Kathmandu Kitchen has the absolute best Chicken Makhani I have ever had. Their servers are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely a favorite of mine.

Good place to try some Nepalese/Tibetan/Indian food in Downtown Davis. I enjoyed the garlic cilantro naans as well as my spicy cilantro margarita!

Food is exceptional! We love the cocktails and the service. Dont bother with delivery... Its way too slow. Easier to order for pickup instead.
