Typically I dont like giving bad reviews but Im actually going to enjoy this one. Weve been going to this location for several years. And I have to say its usually been 50-50 whether I would give it 0 stars or maybe 3 stars. On a rare occasion 4, and that would just be because we are lucky enough to get a good server. Today is the day I chose to write a review because it was that bad. Whether it was because its the day after Christmas, maybe some people didnt show up for work, or they just didnt prepare, it was a disaster. Id also like to call out probably one of the worst servers Ive ever experienced anywhere, Ashley. Slow, and really indifferent about how poor the service was. We did notice that everyone seated either prior to us or even after us not only received their food before us but were also leaving in most cases before we even received your food. We also noticed the table directly next to us had been vacated by the last patrons. Dirty dishes filled half with food, half filled glasses, napkins. The table was like that when we sat down. We were at her table for approximately an hour and nobody had cleared that table. Im not pointing that out because it was gross, Im pointing it out because there was one of several tables around us and nobody was cleaning off and they had people waiting for tables. None of it made sense. We waited approximately 35 minutes for food to get to the table. We also noticed that Ashley was given a table of 15 people in addition to ours. Noticing that, I had asked the host as he was walking by if he could check on our order. He came back and let us know that the manager was pulling it out of the window right then and there and we should get it in a minute. Approximately 10 to 15 minutes later we got our food. It was cold and it wasnt that great. Even for IHOP standards. The only bright spot was this. The host took 50% off of our bill. We thanked him for that and I assured him that we didnt have issue with him. None of it was his fault. We did have a pretty big issue with Ashley. Heres why. Anytime she came to our table, which was 3 times in over an hour, she would explain why there were such delays and basically made her problem, our problem. Whether it was her fault, her managers fault or poor planning in general, when somebody gets a party of 15 to 20 people, they should not be waiting on other tables. So anytime she would come to the table and say, "Im sorry it took so long your drink refills I just had to take care of like 20 other drinks", thats not my problem. Dont explain to me why it took 10 minutes to get 3 refills. I am very understanding of busy and out of ordinary circumstances. This was over the top. I felt the host made an attempt to make it right and for that, it was appreciated. Im not a complainer. I dont look for freebies. Thats not my style. However, I do pay attention. This sucked. And in probably one of only two cases have I ever done this before, but there was 0 tip left because there was 0 tip deserved. As much as I hate saying that, thats how bad this was. Heres the thing. When I see a server or somebody waiting on me is overwhelmed, I am very patient. I even like to be encouraging. I like to tell the person to "hang in there", or "have a good day", or "hope your day gets better". They need that. Im sure theyve got enough jerks giving them the business. That doesnt help anyone, ever. But I do that when I see somebody is making an effort. I have a lot of respect for people who bust their ass. Would I go back? I dont know. Ive been there several times. It would take a lot for me to want to go back. Its a chain. Servers come and go. Theres good days and theres bad days. If I do go back, I can assure you I will pay attention that I do not get the same server again.

Arrived at 1:40am on a Sunday morning. We were seated promptly as there were only 3 parties in the restaurant. The host sat us and informed us our server would be with us shortly. Our server arrived at our table within a minute and took our drink orders and brought the back within a minute and took our order. She seemed very kind, a little timid. I ordered the Rooty Rooty With Strawberry topping and my friend ordered cream cheese crepes with Strawberry topping. The order arrived 5 minutes later. The pancakes were cooked perfectly but the strawberry topping is a diabetic inducing sugary glaze with a bland tast. My friend found a small piece of bacon in her crepes, and shes a vegetarian, so thats no bueno. The music in the restaurant was at a good level with appropriate music. The temperature was perfect. Nice and warm during the cold weather. Good service. Mediocre food. Got the Rooty Rooty for free with a birthday coupon, which was a total plus!

It was 15 minutes before the hostess came to seat myself and my four companions. There was no one around, not even a manager! After we were seated it was 8 minutes before our order was taken. By this time Im actually timeing everything. On minute 28 several groups came in, were seated very quickly, order was taken and were enjoying there meal as ours was arriving. 40 minute wait for our order to arrive and my orders was messed up. It was fixed in two minutes! I was very shocked for that. Several items that my small group of 5 total individuals had cold foods brought to them. The waffles were so cool that the butter would not spread without tearing it. I understand that services may be slow at midnight but that wasnt a good experience.

Our family eats here a couple times a month after church on Sundays. We always enjoy the food (cinnastack pancakes are awesome)! The service is always friendly but not always outstanding. Well today we had the pleasure of being served by Antonio (employee 228). He offered ideas for accommodating our childerens unique tastes while saving us money. He made the experience special. Out of the dozens of times we have been here this trip will stand out as we look forward to our next visit. I am writing this in hopes that the management here takes notice and rewards him with a promotion. The staff here could use to learn from his demeanour and people skills. Fine job IHOP!

Hostess acted like seating us was an inconvience. We had our 14 month with us. She didnt bring us a high chair after several minutes we had to ask for a high chair. After 15 minutes of NO ONE even acknowledging our existence. We left on our way out I mentioned how poorly we were treated by their staff and the acted surprised. They were all worried about talking about what they were doing that night and where they were going. It was utterly rude. Instead we went to Perkins where we were sat immediately and asked if we needed a high chair. From the time we hit to door till they took our order was 3 minutes a far cry for 15. Do not go to IHOP unless you want poor service.
