Everything about Sapori di Napoli was utterly delightful. Before you even walk in the door, youre greeted by beautiful flowers and herb garden along the walkway leading to the door. The outdoor patio is perfectly shaded and comfortably casual, as is the interior of the restaurant. We chose to eat on the patio as the weather was beautiful, but the inside was just as charming. I came with a party of 5 from work and we ordered one pizza, one pasta and 2 salads to share between us. Before we got our entrees, our server brought us fresh, hot out of the oven focaccia bread with olive oil and rosemary. Perfect. We had the insalata mista sapori and the insalata di rucola, followed by a half vegetariana half diavola pizza and pappardelle sapori for our pasta selection. All of it was divine. Finally, we were surprised by a complimentary dessert: a light, moist and perfectly sweet pineapple cake. I will definitely be going back!

I worked here in 2016 for a good chunk of year and have moved to Florida since then. I was absolutely spoiled by this restaurant. To come in to work and smell this food cooking was always a feeling that brought a smile to my mostly expressionless face. Ive literally spent hours trying to find a pizzeria that even closely resembles Sapori Di Napoli and just when I thought I had because they had a "Diavola" pizza as well, I was wrong. From the atmosphere to the quality of meat, the place couldnt match Sapori. I never waste food and I HAD to throw it out. Daniele and Ambrosio Florio have Skill, an eye for quality and a passion that, from my experience, is impossible to match. You better believe that when I go back to Georgia, Im stopping in for pizza or I wouldnt be able to forgive myself.

First off, look up what neopolitan means for pizza. Read it carefully. If this is not your idea of what pizza is, go to Dominos and save us the trouble of reading your review of a place you cannot fathom. The pizza here, for the style, is amazingly authentic. Some of the best pizza I have had in the US (been to Italy, worked 4 years in a pizza kitchen, I have cred). Does it get crazy busy, of course it does. It is a great place in Atlanta, so expect a crowded mess like every other hot spot in the metro ATL. Not a lot for the kids as far as menu, but then it is a place for an adult of dicerning taste. Neopolitan style pizza from a place run by an Italian. Perfecto!

Features a hand-crafted Italian Acunto wood-fired oven, an essential tools in the creation of perfect Neapolitan-style pizzas and other roasted dishes. At Sapori di Napoli, the Florio brothers, who operate the establishment, seek to take diners on a trip to their favorite weekend vacation spot growing up — Agerola, a small country town on the Almalfi coast where their father was born. Their Southern Italian cuisine emphasizes pizza over pasta, but its the family atmosphere (and those amazing pies) that keep the regulars coming back.

I was lucky enough to try this place for lunch last weekend. As a snobby Italian food critic, this pizza was above and beyond what I was expecting. Antico Pizza may have the accolades as "best pizza" in Atlanta, but I think Sapori is neck-in-neck with Antico! Extremely nice staff located in the heart of downtown Decatur. Ample parking and a nice patio will keep patrons returning for years to come. The pizza is light, the Peroni is cold, and I really enjoyed the overall experience. Forza Azzurri!!!

The prices at this place havent matched up with the quality in my experience. Ordering at a counter and being forced to wait outside for half an hour until they can seat you seems like theres a logistical problem. Also, when being served a pizza once, our server dropped the pizza, caught it with his bare hands, and then served it to us anyway. The food itself is fine, nothing special. Servers dont seem that enthused about serving. Its just okay.

Had a wonderful dining experience, the serving staff was fantastic. Had great recommendations on hand and knew the menu in and out. Was very pleased to find out that the pastas were house made and the Bolognese I had ordered was absolutely fantastic. 10/10 definitely would recommend all my friends who love Italian food to this place. Oh and definitely try the house made gelato, very decadent.

Best Italian restaurant in Atlanta. The food is all fresh and stunningly tasty. You dont need to worry if youre wearing the right hipster clothing, because this place has a real family vibe that makes you feel welcome. Try the insalata Italiana and the fileto pizza with a side of anchovies. (Or literally anything else on the menu—Ive never had anything that wasnt incredible).

Really not sure what all the fuss is about. We grabbed a pizza to go - felt the people who took our order were a bit prickly - but more importantly, thought the pizza was just fair... there is very little cheese on the pizza, and a lot of tomato sauce with no seasoning and very tart. There are much much better pizza places in Atlanta (Amazza and Antico being atop the list.)

I hate to compare this place to Antico Napoletano, but they definitely have some competition from Sapori di Napoli! We ordered the Carnosa pizza and it was delectably tangy, with the perfect amount of spice from the sauce and italian sausage. The atmosphere was quaint and unassuming and the wait staff was very pleasant! We will be returning!

This cozy authentic spot in Downtown Decatur has perfected the art of Italian food. Their pizza is incredible but you’ll be glad that you tried their housemade pastas, starters, and cannolis too. Although its a bit further away for many ITP residents, its worth it if youre looking for the true taste of Italy.

If you like pizza, you cant go wrong here. I dont know a lot about authentic Italian, but they use buffalo mozzarella and the rest of their ingredients seem true to traditional Italian cuisine. Great service and busy but fun atmosphere. Dont forget to get a Limoncello to finish of the meal!

I have visited twice with some friends. The place has been full on Saturdays night, but we are always seated quickly. The service has been very good and the environment is family friendly. The pizza is ok; I have had better pizzas, but I would go back if in the area no doubt.

My wife introduced me to this place. Simply but perfectly done pizza. If you like a true Italian pizza this is place for you. You cant go wrong the margarita pizza. The staff is knowledgeable. I can even practice my Italian there. They even have parking.

Excellent pizza! The pizzas are 13 inch, cooked over a wood fire. The ingredients are tasty and not what you would find on pizzas in other places. Pizzas are priced in the $17 - $22 range. Wonderful service.

Pizza are delicious and very authentic. I wish they had more variations though. Save yourself the trouble and dont order drinks though. They only had gin and didnt even have stuff to make martinis.

This place is consistently stellar in service and food. The people are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is warm and intimate. We also had them cater our wedding, and it was a hit.
