I used to work at this location when it opened in 94, and spent about 15 years working in RI. Now as a small business owner, Ive given it multiple tries; has disappointed in the last 7 years. I wont be returning to another Olive Garden (at least the three in the RGV). Service was okay even though most of the waitstaff spent a lot of time on their cellphones. Kitchen manager needs to check food quality: limp romaine, no black olives, overcooked pasta (that was probably covered in Saran wrap and replated), low quality shrimp, and probably the worst scampi sauce Ive ever had (tasted like someone mixed Cesar dressing with melted margarine). Used to be a pretty stand up fast food Italian joint. Ive spent time in Italy, and even though I dont expect OG to know real Italian, I do expect a decent pasta. Do yourself a favor and head to Cortinos in Mercedes, which looks like a hole in the wall, but has authentic Italian food with traditional Italian table wine at a reasonable rate.

I dont think I have ever written a review on any place that i have ever been to but tonight we came to have a "nice" dinner after my nieces dance recital and i must say It was definately not a good experience. First of all the fountain drink machine was malfunctioning so we all got flat drinks but they replaced everyones drink with either tea or water so I guess that was fine, but then the soup came at it was cold and I got a filthy spoon to go along with it. The breadsticks were also cold and hard. I ate almost half of my entre and could not continue (shrimp alfredo). The shrimp was nasty and the pasta was sad to say the least. My wife ordered the tour of Italy deal and by the time she ate half of the meal she literally got up, rushed to the restroom, and threw up. I paid, left an ok tip and rushed home... Barely made it to the RR. Im sorry but I most definitely will not take my family back to Olive Garden ever again.

Yesterday, I ordered the Tour of Italy and it looked like someone sat on the plate. Took a while to be seated (forgiven due to holiday) and someone was playing games very loudly on their phone (waiter took care of it). A couple came in while my party of two had been waiting for about ten minutes. They asked to wait at the bar and a waiter came over and asked if they wanted a booth instead and he took them into the dining area. They waited neary two minutes and were seated while the rest of us in the dining area waited patiently. We complained and were seated within five minutes. Since when does waitstaff run the front of the house? Regardless, our server was Johnny On-the-spot and he did a fine job. The kitchen and front of house need to check themselves. Parking is atrocious.

Lights were dimmed rather low, maybe to distract from the floors, seats and tables from being so dirty. Waiter was punctual, that was a plus. Went back a second time, sat in bar for twenty minutes and wasnt even looked at, but a couple walked in that knew the waiter and was helped right away, Ended up being seated in the dining room. Both times the food was prepared well. Figured third time is the charm, right...wrong. Food came out wrong then when it came out the chicken and noodles were over cooked, a damn shame. If its not the service its the food. Just to be fair the third time I was there was at around 5:30 the other 2 times were around 8 p.m.

THE worst customer service ever I will never go there again! We got skipped sat there for 10 min the 2 hosts that were up front were too busy talking about personal stuff rather then doing there job! then we finally got sat and waited another 10 min! We walked out this is ridiculous Service! but then this is why olive garden is where its at they suck there at the bottom because of there customer service. And even the manager did nothing at all.

I LOVE Olive Garden. But this location is the worst one Ive gone to "foodwise". Salad is the worst, " old lettuce " "huge pieces of lettuce" "chicken in the gnocchi soup taste weird, fatty part added , and its a watery soup" I talk to them about it, but they didnt see nothing wrong with that. Also pasta comea mixes with other types... Spaghetti with zitti, etc etc. That is not cool. Hope one of their staff see this and do something about it...

Three of the items we ordered were sold out and the fried mozz took nearly twenty minutes. Managers Guy & Adan did a superb job of turning a train wreck of a birthday dinner into an enjoyable evening out. I didnt catch our waiters name, but he was also a star in the show. We were compensated for the meal & the birthday gal was given a $20 gift card. Excellent customer service, and we will be back... Just not on a Wednesday.

This place suuuuuucks! The staff is a mixture of high school kids and really annoying guys who spent the whole time talking about the girls they were waiting on. The food is only ok, and not worth the money. There hasnt been a time ive eaten here where I didnt feel likr I could have made the same thing at home for half the price, and none of the annoyance

I was a little disappointed in the 3 part, 9.99 menu that added an additional 3.00 for meat in the sauce. Come on, pasta is not costly, sauce is not costly but pay a bunch for 3 meatballs or 10 little delicious shrimp. Our waiter , Victor was super! House wine was pricey but delicious & plentiful. Overall, enjoyable experience.

Dishwear not clean. First set of silverware had crusty food from previous guests mouths still on it! Got 3 sets of replacement, all full of water spots and gunk. Food was acceptable as any other location. No butter served with bread, water with adult beverage, took forever to clear empty dishes and glasses.

By far one of the worst Olive Gardens Ive ever been to. Ive given in multiple tries as well, but it is consistently bad. From a slow wait staff to lack luster food and presentation (especially considering the prices), youre better off skipping this branch. Something in the place smells odd as well.

This O.G was poor food and service. It took 30 mins to get our drinks, food was cold, bathrooms was out of toilet paper & disgusting. Our waitress seem to be overloaded. There was dirty dishes stacked and left sitting next to people eating. No free wine tasting offered. The worst O.G experience EVER!
