I come to this restaurant every time Im in the area for breakfast and dinner with friends and the food is always on par (burgers always overcooked though.) The service is either on par or spotty. The wait staff is always kind and friendly but can be un organized during a small rush of customers. Tonight on the other other hand was one of the worst experiences Ive ever endured at a restauruant. We were sitting out back at the picnic table. There was a movie playing and a few other tables of people out there as well so the noise of the atmosphere was moderate to loud. Regardless of our own tables noise from conversation, the movie, and other tables we were disturbed by a man named "Alan bustillo," the head chef was yelling at the employee who was in charge of the oyster station. Talking down to him, treating him like he wasnt a human being. After watching him lay into this poor man for over 15 minutes we had to ask one of the servers to ask him to stop yelling at the man. After the server walked over and said something he turns around at us, laughs and sais "I dont give a s#!t, this is my restaurant and this is repremanding," and walks in to the kitchen. The server came over and apologised again for his behavior and said there was no manager around to speak to us. After this experience tonight I and my friends who come here more than twice a week refuse to step back into this establishment until ALAN, the Ill manored "executive chef" "this is my restaurant" is gone. Apparently he doesnt have any part in the ownership of this place. Being a previous restaurant owner, employee, and chef I know this behavior should be dealt with zero tolerance. I really hope something is done because Im sure the attitude, personality, and values of the chef do not reflect the those of the owner.

Went there a few months back. Waiter was really nice. That was the only thing good about the experience. Food was horrible. No flavor and weak presentation. My date had tilapia and I dont even remember what I ordered but I just remember being unsatisfied. Actually disappointing because from the outside I thought it would be good and fancy. Havent tried the oysters. I may go back just for those - cant mess up oysters right? Oh yea free shots! Cuz the food was so bad. Good effort in the customer service department.

Ce petit restau est tout simplement adorable. Larrière cour, illuminée de guirlandes est parfaite pour un dîner romantique. Service parfait, en anglais et en français !! Les huîtres du Canada sont délicieuses. Je recommande vivement !!!

I would give it an extra star just because I previously had their oysters which were great but my most recent visit was not as successful. Quite a few of the menu items were unavailable. They informed us they were switching chefs but the food fell short of the description on the menu. That being said, the staff were pretty friendly and even offered us shots at the end of our meals. Thanks guys! I will be back once you update your menu and chef.

Definitely a good place! The food was delicious! Service was great! My server "Andrew" was very attentive, friendly, and welcoming. :-( Its soooooo cramped in there. Privacy is out of the window because the person sitting next to you, feels like they are in your lap.... and conversation! Hopefully they can rearrange the dining room even to make it feel like there is more space. Also, when you first step in you arent readily acknowledged.

This place is just a nice relaxing, friendly french establishment. Staff is always knowledgeable, very polite and helpful. I really havent eaten anything here that i havent enjoyed. They recently aquired a new chef and I have to say...he is amazing!! Right here in bushwick on Knickerbocker ave is a nice lil cozy french place to bring your friends and family. Happy eating :-)

This is one of the best brunch spots in the area. Their eggs Benedict variations are all delicious. They have a great mimosa, so the bottomless mimosa is a great option. The energy in the restaurant is great as well. The owner, Eric, is very relaxed, making sure that youre having a pleasant experience.

We sat in the garden in the back which is very cool - lots of flowering plants & ambiance. The brunch (Saturday) dishes are excellent ! One of the best egg dishes Ive ever had. All staff are friendly & helpful, prices reasonable for what you get. Will definitely go back is anywhere near the area again.

Cash or Amex only. 75% if the oysters were great. The other 25% tasted bad- like how low tide smells. Besides oysters, all I ordered was one burger- and the place was empty. It took almost an hour to get the burger from when we ordered it. There were people who came in after me and were served first.

Amazing service! A hidden Bushwick gem serving $1 oysters all day every day. Wines pair perfect with food menu. Our server Jason was excellent showing us great hospitality, attentiveness, and knowledgeable of menu. Will definitely go again! Highly Recommended.

The service was terrible. Ive been there a handful of times, and each time went back thinking would be different. Long wait, waiter never checked back, and just dissatisfying. The food was alright. The experience just didnt let me enjoy my food.

The service was really bad. We sat at the bar, the poor bartender was so busy and not getting any help from the rest of the staff. She was very sweet, just too busy. The food was very mediocre, if not just bad. Dont get the beef tartar.

Good restaurant, they stopped carrying several of the dishes that initially drew me to this place, but its overall good. Would be nice if they accepted credit cards instead of just cash, since its easy to ring up a $100+ bill.

Great tasting, if a bit overpriced, bar food. Drinks are your standard bar fare. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We arrived really late and super hungry and they gladly took our order. The place has a cozy, relaxed vibe.

Fantastic restaurant. Have been here several times for brunch and dinner and it never disappoints. Amazing food, great service and a lovely garden for brunch outside, and cosy interior for dinner. Highly recommend this place!

The only nice part about this place is the back garden. Other than that, waiters were slow and brought the wrong tea twice, but then was kind of rude and made me feel like it was my fault. Food was okay, nothing special.

Nice place for few drinks/appetizers with friends at the bar counter. Some waiters speak french too. For my Aperol Spritz you need to put a little bit of tonic water too :) Not only alcohol :p Recommended place

Do yourself a favor and stay away. Service sucked. Forgot one dish, the other came cold and overcooked (like they took out yesterdays meat out of the fridge). The only thing going for it is the enterior.
