We have typically had good service and good food at La Parrilla, but something has changed. This evening I had the worst service I have ever had in a restaurant in my life at La Parrilla. I actually cant call it bad service -- I would have to call it no service. I took my three children to the restaurant. It was busy. We waited maybe 15 minutes for a table -- not bad. After being seated for several minutes, the manage came and took our drink order because our server was busy. After she brought our drinks two servers had a screaming match over who was supposed to serve us -- turns out it was neither of them -- someone else came and said that she was our server. We waited about 30 minutes for our food -- which is longer than usual, but I had ordered vegetable fajitas, and sometimes that takes longer to prepare. My girls just had tacos. The tacos came after 30 minutes -- one of them was incorrectly prepared but they took it back to the kitchen and corrected it -- about 5 minutes -- no big deal. The children began eating. My fajitas didnt come. Our server NEVER CAME TO THE TABLE THE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE IN THE RESTAURANT. As the children finished their meals, I began to try to flag down our server. After four unsuccessful attempts to get her attention by waving my hands (and at this point, all of my kids were waving their hands too), I finally had to should "EXCUSE ME!" across the restaurant, and she looked at me like she didnt know who I was. She did come to the table then, and I told her that my food never came but my children were now finished (it had been another at least 30 minutes since their food had arrived when I finally got her attention). She apologized and called the manager over who had taken our drink order. The manager asked if they could make my meal for me now -- I said no, just the check. She said -- cant we bring you desert -- no, just the check. She said, okay, I will give you a big discount. I didnt care about the discount -- I just wanted out of there as fast as humanly possible. She stopped to talk to a couple of other tables who were complaining that their water glasses had not been filled enough -- these unfortunate ladies said that they had never had such bad service -- oy! Anyway, after she had been there for maybe 5 minutes apologizing for water refills, I said -- could I get the check please? She brought the check and few minutes later -- dropped it at the table -- a HUGE $5 discount on my $30 meal -- said nothing else and went back to the poor ladies who hadnt had enough water to drink with their meals to apologize some more. Good grief -- left cash on the table and adios La Parilla. It will be a loooonnnnggggg time before I try that one again.

Ive been to La Parrilla before and decided to treat my friend to dinner, after helping me out this weekend. I wasnt eating in, so I was directed to the bar to place a to go order. The server (the guy), who took my order was attentive and asked if I would like anything while I waited. I got a to go water. Over all the bar staff were friendly! I placed the order of the La Parrilla Dip, a large bowl of cheese dip with grilled steak, chicken and shrimp. Served with pico, corn or flour tortillas, so you can roll your own tacos. $9.75. From the a la carta I ordered a crunchy beef taco $2.50 and a chicken enchilada. $2.75. I was given tortilla chips and salsa. I was also asked if I wanted to add jalapenos to the dip? I sure did! Everything was going great until I looked down at my feet and realized someone has not swept the floor in front of the bar. There were crunched chips, a napkin and I hope what was a solitary black bean, which fell off someones plate. I liked the fact that the Server took the time to review what was in the to go bag before I left

The quality has REALLY taken a nosedive here. When my children and I arrived today we were seated at a tiny table sandwiched in between two larger parties. The tiny table was wobbly, which is always annoying. I had to ask three servers for chips and salsa. I ordered the Burrito La Parrilla with steak. And, I ordered the steak medium rare; it came hockey puck well done. Plus, the burrito was half the size as it was the numerous other times Ive been there. Seriously, the thing was the size of a crappy $1 Taco Bell burrito. We asked, again, three servers for a refill on our drinks which never came. When we got up to leave after paying our check a server carrying a big tray nearly knocked over my 11 year old. It was absolutely horrible.

Traveling through Atlanta, we stopped to visit family at the hospital here. We chose La Parrilla to eat our evening meal. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server, Marissa within seconds. She was very friendly, personable and attentive. I had the #6-Chicken Enchilada and Chicken Soft Taco with Rice and Beans, while my date had Chicken Fajitas. Good sized portions were served promptly. The food was hot and fresh. Chips are light and crisp. Emerald and Jay, the two managers on duty both came over to our table to thank us for choosing La Parrilla. All staff members were respectful and professional. A very pleasant dining experience!

We are not the simplest of customers: Were vegetarian and my husband has a serious allergy to onion and garlic. They are always amazing here. Everyone is courteous, well-informed about their menu, and always super nice. The service is always incredibly fast and weve never had an issue here! It also seems like quite a statement that the patrons here are at least 50% Latino themselves. I definitely think this location stands out among other La Parrillas.

Great food. Great service. Always accommodating. I usually get my meal to go and have a margarita while I wait. Try the Organic. Delicious and refreshing. Skinny rita is good too. If youre driving, have just one! I get the small on the rocks. (Large can get watered down.) Steak Tampiquena, Burrito Mexicano, Guacamole... And IF by chance you ever have a problem, just let them know! They want you to have the best.

The ambiance at this location is better than the location in Marietta, but the food is not as good. Food really lacked the spice that an authentic Mexican restaurant would have, and did not make up for it in other seasonings, which resulted in bland food. Wont be back to this location. I thought the Marietta store was a bit weak on seasoning, but this location is just sad.
