What made this experience worth the trip out from downtown Boston was the hospitality of Narinder from the second we walked into the restaurant. At no point were we rushed to order our food, but once we did order the food came out shortly after. From the bread to the dessert everything tasted great and using the groupon deal they offer allowed us to order a large quantity of food with a college student budget in mind. The vegetable samosa in the passage mixed appetizer has the perfect salty and crunchy outside with a flavorful center and the Aloo Paratha was a great bread choice if you want to try something different from the classic naan. If coming back I would order the lamb rogan josh again but my date and I were not the biggest fans of the Uttapam. Not that it was bad, but it wasnt memorable compared to the lamb rogan josh which has the classic strong spices you expect from Indian food.

This place holds a special place in my heart: this was the first restaurant I ever ate at within Boston. Rightly so, the food well priced and delicious. Located right outside the Porter Square T stop, this place doesnt catch your eye immediately. However, once inside, your stomach will start to grumble from the rich aromas of spices in the air. The chicken tikka masala and palak paneer are both perfectly flavored and spiced. The basic naan and garlic naan are things you wish you could eat forever. A friend of mine loves samosas, both veggie and meat filled. Prices are suitable for the quality of the food and this place makes for a great date or dinner with friends/family spot. I wish I lived closer to this little gem :(

Food Id give 4.5/5 but service Id give 2/5. The food was excellent, but my service experience wasnt great. I ordered takeout and they said it would take 10min and it took almost 30min and the restaurant was less than half full. Also I saw many people who ordered after me receive their food before me. Then I noticed after I took my food back to the hotel they provided no utensils or napkins so I had to walk all the way back and ask for utensils.

Food is really good! Flavorful and good price. I got the garlic naan. Also, service is really good: owner (maybe, manager, not sure will find out next time), is very thoughtful and caring for his guests. I had to catch a train and he made sure I got my order on time, plus made sure I had all the sauces, napkins, and utensils I needed to eat it on the go.

This restaurant is great! I absolutely love the non-veggie dinner for two deal. You get lots of food for around $30. The dishes are delicious especially the lamb vindaloo. The service is awesome as well. The gentle who might be the owner is super friendly!

Keema parathas, keema parathas! Only 5 bucks and the quantity by itself is dinner worthy. Do ask them to add green chillies and make them spicy. Also the aloo parathas with green chillies. They taste home made and are stuffed well.

Loved their food, both the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Chicken Curry (a la carte) were really good over rice and over the garlic naan we ordered. Everything is delicious, place was clean, quiet, and service was also very polite.

I order from them regularly. The quality of food is not very consistent, and neither is the level of spiciness (most of the time it is less spicy than described), but lunch deliveries are fast and reasonable.

The food is amazing. The dinner deal is great, but a la carte is still a good deal too. My partner and I love this spot for a quiet dinner. Theres also parking across the street!

Food is delicious. Dinner includes entree, soup, naan or rice and dessert. The gulab jamun is so good here. And I cant say enough about the chicken tikka masala. Two forks up!

Best Indian food Ive had since I was in India. Dont miss the tikka masala; its second to none. Also have recently fallen in love with their strawberry lassi.

A lot better than the restaurants in the central square area. Tried channa battura and vegetable biriyani, both of them were very tasty.

Very good, flavorful food. Only challenge was that the tandoori shrimp stained my hands orange...

Lunch is cheaper than dinner. They have nice dinner for 2/4 options. Portions are large.
