Very surprised - the food was really good. Old-style family restaurant, so I was expecting sub-par food. Its the kind of place my grandparents loved in the 70s. The service was good, the food was good, my broiled fish was fresh-tasting and cooked just-right (swimming in a pond of melted butter, yum). Baked potatoes were perfectly fluffy, with sour cream served in a plastic-lidded little cup. Tables and booths were clean and not sticky or coated in residue (like many of these type places often have). Now, theres not many choices for special-diets. Vegetarians choose from pastas or salads. Those with wheat allergies or mild gluten-issues can get grilled or broiled meats or fish. Kids menu limited to typical chicken-fingers, pasta, etc. Fries had a light batter coating. Lots of fried foods offered. Worth stopping at for an unintentional nostalgic meal. Ill return.

Despite the fact Im about 30 years too young to be eating there, this is a really nice spot. The food is cheap and good, the service is decent and its in a convenient location. My wife and I have never had a bad experience when we go there. Its easy for both of us to find something to eat, and it has food even our picky son will enjoy. The only warning I have about this place is its best to try and go when theyre not busy. You will experience a long wait at your table for everything if you do. At least, thats the experience weve had most of the times we went. Other than that, its a great spot to get a decent meal in the area.

They used to have good salads. I always order the chicken strip salad and it was always good. Now it is half the size and the lettuce they use looks like a bowl of weeds. The chicken was in little chunks instead of the strips of grilled chicken. Overall it is half the size it used to be. For $8.99 it is not worth it at all. Wont be returning there any time soon. They are getting real cheap with everything. Nothing at all like it used to be. In the winter it is so cold in there you have to leave your coat on. A very excellent restaurant gone bad!!!!!! Shame on them!!!

My first impression of this family oriented restaurant was great and I felt very welcomed by the hostess. Our waitress was great and food was absolutly amazing:) my only complaint was that I could hear what sounded like the manager screaming at others in the kitchen area. This has happened on several dinning visits and Im glad its always been on my lunch break with my co-workers and not with my children. I enjoy the food very much, the service is always pleasent, and you get a great amount of food for the price!-Julia

Breakfast and lunch is yummy! Amazing sandwiches and burgers! Home fries are amazing! The Ranchero omelet is yummy! ! Love the pancakes with fruit topping! Definately pass on the chain restaurants in favor of Dolfin, for breakfast! My mother-in-law goes every Thursday for their potato soup! Desserts are yummy! Prices are decent and staff always friendly. Always busy, but always seated quickly. They definately cater to their customers. Only downside: we any away from their dinner menu. Not the best.

Amanda was an amazing server. Treated my mother and myself politely. Got our food and beverages fast and recommended an EPIC chocolate cake for my birthday. The entire staff surprised me with singing to me for my birthday and that was cool. I would definitely recommended this restaurant to everyone I know and dont know. Keep up the good work. Waitress was not clean while have an open sore on her forehead, my fiance ordered water with a lemon and the waitress lied and said the restraunt was out of lemons but then moments later another waitress came out of the back with lemon waters for her customers. To add, after ordering our meals the waitress came back and said the restraunt was out of shrimp, so my fiancé could not have her meal.

Kitchen was out of the food I ordered. Rather than tell me, they just gave me something different. When I complained, I got blank stares. Of course I didnt eat what was brought since it included things I was allergic to and didnt like. Yes, they charged me.....I paid to get out of there. Called later and they still didnt care. Just not acceptable. I mean really who does that????

I have been a frequent visitor of the Dolphin. However, that has changed. I have never been more disappointed in their service. We waited over 40 minutes for our food and it never showed up. We finally left without eating. I doubt I will go back. I will be sure to share my experience with everyone I know.

Just ate there last week. Even though the portions are large the food is pretty bland. We didnt even take the leftovers home. The chicken soup did not have one piece of chicken. Our service was good but we could hear the manager talking negatively about the employees. We would think twice about going back.

This place was unbelievably slow! The food is a little below average. When I had to leave my group to get my son to bowling on time, they seemed to purposefully slow down even more. I asked them in advance if us being in a hurry was a problem, they said no. HA! Never again!

The food is good, and so is the pricing...but they are almost always out of something on their menu. One time it was bananas. Another time, it was bananas, bagels, and waffles on a Sunday. They should have been prepared on a weekend. We will probably not be returning.

Best place to eat. You get more than your moneys worth. Servers and staff always friendly and doing what they can for your dining pleasure. I live on the west side of Cleveland and drive more than a half hour to go to Dolphins Family restaurant.

Cups turned upright so that everyone that walks by can cough, sneeze or whatever then they pour your drink in it! Fly paper hanging over the water in a small side area, YUCK. I would definitely bring my own cup here or ask for a to go cup.

Very disappointed last night. Fish fry looked like it sat in a warmer oven or under light. Cold syrup with pancakes. Was told it would take 10 minutes to have it warmed. Definitely down hill from last Lent

Large variety of food. Breakfast all day. Fast service, great prices, large portions, comfortable seating and friendly atmosphere... All you can eat fish fry on Fridays, and the fish is really good!

Great restaurant! Tried to find the flypaper but could not find it. I have no idea what that person was looking at. Besides if there was flypaper Id rather have the Flies on the paper then in my food

I have never had a complaint until today. I ordered the French Toast and the bread had so much egg batter, it was tough and you couldnt taste the cinnamon. I asked for French Toast not Egg Toast.

I love the food the Prices are nice and great service one of the best places Ive ate at but the last time I ate there I couldnt breath because it was so hot in there because the AC wasnt working
