We went here on a tip from one of the fellows at Cigar City Brewery and we werent disappointed! We had the salmon bruschetta and a salad to start. The salmon was heavenly, served with capers, onion, olive oil and tender-crisp toasts. The salad was lightly dressed with a delicate balsamic vinaigrette and included artichokes, olives, sun-dried tomatoes and large pieces of shaved Parmesan. We each had a ravioli dish as an entree, the lobster ravioli was delicious, as was the spinach and cheese ravioli. The cream sauces were not too heavy, had a perfect texture, and had a unique, slightly sweet flavor. When topped with the fresh ground pepper, it paired nicely. Some of their desserts are homemade, and we opted for the tiramisu. It was good, but not the best Ive had. They used fresh ingredients and it was nicely presented, but I prefer more filling. Their version has a good layer of lady fingers and an ample layer of whipped cream, but not a lot of mascarpone filling. It was certainly good, but not spectacular. The atmosphere is intimate and elegant, with cloth napkins. The service was attentive and professional. We would certainly dine here again.

Incredible food, staff, and experience. My wife and I are relatively new to the area, and havent had a chance to explore many of the restaurants yet. We decided to check out La Terrazza, and after the experience we had, we will be coming back frequently. We called on a Saturday night to see if it was possible to make a reservation, and the the hostess Kelly was incredibly warm and accommodating, helping us to reserve a table on such a busy night. I cant remember our waitresss name, but she was incredibly friendly and gracious, and we talked to her about she grew up in Naples, Italy and about our lives. The food was incredible, and we loved the cozy space and family feel of the restaurant. Our waitress even brought us a complimentary little small glass of wine at the end of the meal. When we left, Kelly was there to thank us and wish us off, and our waitress gave us a big hug before we left. Its a shame that Olive Garden already adopted the term "When youre here, youre family" a few years ago, because thats the best description I could give to a place like this.

C est vrai , le cadre décoratif nest pas l atout majeur de cette table italienne ,mais finalement on oublie très rapidement l inconfort des chaises en passant la commande , avec un personnel très chaleureux mais sans excès ! Bruscetta extra fraîche en entrée , spaghetti à la puscanetta délicieuse , spaghetti à la carbonara a la demande pour les enfants , tout le monde s est régalé et le tiramissu n a pas survécu à notre tir groupé !!!! A recommandé !!!

Terrible service and food. It was 55 minutes from the time we sat down to the time we got our meal. The food was very bland and disappointing. We got 3 recommended entrees and they were all very terrible. The pasta with bolognese sauce had hardly any flavor, the veal was also very bland, and the shrimp in the seafood pasta was way overcooked. And it took 30 minutes for us to get the check and 15 more for it to come. Then with the card sticking out of the check book at the edge of the table it took another 10 minutes for it to be taken and to get the credit card receipt. We are on vacation and went here spontaneously so I admit that we were somewhat under dressed but thats no excuse for HORRIBLE service. Could not possibly recommend less!

A very warm and inviting interior greets you as you enter and although the space is on the small side the chairs and tables are adequately situate so that you do not feel cramped or on top of other patrons. The decorations definitely give you a feeling of dining in a small italian village. The food was superb! I enjoyed my entree of "Frutti Di Mare" (Seafood pasta) The shrimp, clams, mussels and scallops were all cooked well and tasted fabulous. My wifes entree ("Melanzane ") was delicious as well. The service was friendly, prompt, courteous and professional. This restaurant has been in Ybor for 15 years and I can see why it still flourishes, great italian food in a fantastic dining atmosphere.

Amazing service. Awesome food! The frutti di mare dish was amazing. such flavorful shrimp and scallops and clams! Staff are super friendly and really awesome with our kids. Wont hesitate to come back next time were in this area. One example, at the table next to us, they had a newborn baby, and they asked if there was a changing table in the restroom. The staff said no, but they then took 2 dining chairs and set them inside the mens room in the open space to serve as a diaper changing spot. Not every day you see staff that will make extra effort so quickly.

This place is food nirvana! Excellent, excellent, excellent! Luigi is true gentlemen and his staff is always attentive....but the food? To kill for. Folks, if you dont give this a try, you are seriously missing out on Christmas for your taste buds. P. S. Make reservations the night before. Update: we have eaten at La Terraza at least once-twice a month since that last review, most recently on Sat/Jan 21. Have to say I would give them 5 STARS every time. Consistently excellent is a rare treat these days. Check this place out.

Awesome! Great staff and great food. Place fills up quick, be sure to make a reservation. They will honor the reservation. Great people makes you feel like family from the time you walk in the door till the time you walk out the door. They are all personable and you can tell the passion still burns. If you love Italian food this is the best in Ybor. All home made.... Exceptional in service and food and wine!! You are missing out if you never ate here. Another great review from me... This was hands down the most fresh Italian food I have ever had. The vegetables and herbs tasted as if they were hand picked from a garden in the back. The appetizer and main course were mouth watering delicious. When we come back, we will most definitely eat here again. Kudos to these wonderful people. Everything was fantastic, from the salad to dessert, the wonderful service and even the coffee was superb. Everything was done with skill and attention to detail, for instance I was impressed with how to waiter spread the table cloth out with flourish and precision at a table he was bussing. Addicting! They must have Spanish grandparents in the kitchen because the food is so great and tastes like family cooking. Service could be a little more organized but for the prize and amount of food you get its not that bad. I always have leftovers to take home and its enough for lunch the next day.
