This is the best place to do work out of all the cafes Ive tried in Santa Rosa. Croissants (I recommend the almond) and bagels are delicious and goes well with coffee, tea, or Yerba Mate. The staff is super friendly and always ready to greet you with a smile. Seating is plentiful with outlets available around the room. Will definitely be back next time Im in the area. There is limited parking, which fills during the morning rush. NOTE: The website says it is open until 5pm on weekdays, but the Santa Rosa location closes at 4pm every day.

Cafe Des Croissants isnt bad so much as solidly mediocre. I keep trying it, thinking that maybe Ive gone on a bad day, but am always let down. The last time I went my chocolate croissant was like a king size hershey bar wrapped in a heavy piece of greasy pastry. Another time I ordered a bagel, but I couldnt just buy one bagel, I had to buy a half dozen. When I ate my single bagel I threw it in the trash with the other 5, because they were hard and dry like they were from the day old bin.

The dough is alright, but the last couple times Ive been there my apple, cherry, and raspberry croissants had almost no filling in them. They appeared to, as it was coming out the edges, but then you cut it in half and see that the only places with filling are the ends. Too bad. Also, they are gaudily American: HUGE, and all dough, meaning packed with calories. Maybe the good reviews are coming from the employees.

Excellent hot tea and yummy pastries make this a favorite for the Sunday brunch-for-less crowd. You can often score a discarded Sunday paper here, too, and browse through its pages while sipping your Earl Grey and nibbling a chocolate croissant. In spring, they put out the giant chess set in the corner yard, and you can also play or kibbutz a game in the sunshine. High-brow, low-$$$ fun!

This little place is Awesome and I always try to go when Alexis is working because she is so cheerful and her service is always AMAZING and super friendly she really makes the start of my day off on the Right foot! There bagel sandwiches are absolutely the BEST I have ever had !! I would suggest this little shop to Everyone i know !! I <3 this place !!!!

These are the people you want to see when you first wake up every morning. Everyone is sooooo friendly and nice. Ive worked across the street for nearly five years and its always been amazing. Foods great as well! Try a Beggin Eggin on a croissant!

Delightful little breakfast stop!! The croissants are a perfect balance of buttery and flaky goodness. We had the Jalasausage breakfast sandwich (served on a homemade croissant) and it was absolutely amazing! Staff is very friendly as well.

I like the fact that they sell the old pastries at discount... I feel the bagels used to be more authentic before the owner changed. Somehow it lacks the smooth Starbucks, Peets feel but many things to like.
