Our first visit to WHEAT+WATER was o.k. The food was excellent, however, there seems to be a problem of when certain items are served. We wanted parmesan french fries, as we heard that they are amazing, but they were not available. We ordered regular fries for the childs menu and didnt get them either. It was frustrating. Our server, Teresa, was amazing. Only 2 weeks on the job, but trying extremely hard to fix things. She kept apologizing for the mis-communication that was happening between kitchen, her and us. I wish her only the best as she kept her cool and professionalism. We were there on 3/19/16 around 5:30. Check 5974. We plan on going again on our next trip to Florida. Kay Wade (Corry,Pa.)

This was my second visit to Wheat and Water. Or first experience was quite good all around. Our second, not so good. I attempted going last week March 19, but when I arrived I was ssked if I had a reservation. I didnt, so I was told it could be 30- 45 minutes by the hostess who really didnt seem that sure. So we called this week making a 7pm reservation. We were seated at a table in the back corner. My view, the kitchen access. The service was slow, they had run out of soup and my husband said it was the worst Lasagna he had ever had. My food was ok, certainly nothing to rave about. Im not sure if well go back.

Theres a couple ladies here that are really nice. But unfortunately the service is realllly slow. Took us about an hour to finally get our food. My mother in law got the wrong order and polity asked if she could please get the correct order. Well while we were waiting I got up to use the restroom and walked up on our waitress mocking and complaining about our table...I just silently stood there and once she noticed me she akwardly walked off. They really do try here but its just not a very good or professional place...

My husband and I have drove past this place since it has opened, but today we were in the Plaza and we both were hungry so we stopped in not expecting anything wonderful but we were surprised at how delicious our mealsite were, starting with the cesar salad He ordered a pepperoni pizza I had the lagsana both delicious and the sour dough table bread was also very good. We had the apple crostata for dessert ! A great meal we will be back! All that and the check was $40.45

Went there for a business lunch. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and homemade lemonade. I am not sure if I was just very hungry, but it was the best chicken sandwich and lemonade I ever had at least in a very long time. It wasnt just the typical chicken on the grill and a piece of for $15 bucks that appears to be norm for a lot of "great restaurants"; this one was fresh with great seasonings and topings. Keep it up guys

Awful service, after 40 minutes all we received was water. When we complained, the owner only replied that they were busy. She attempted to have us pay for drinks we never received. No apologies and it seemed like we were wasting her time. Will never be back. Save you money and go anywhere else. Went down the plaza to Bangkok Tokyo, wonderful food and wonderful service, in and out in an hour.

Always a good experience here! Which is pleasantly surprising being that the last few restaurants in this space, failed miserably. The service isnt always amazing and sometimes tend to be on the slower side but they always take their time with a smile. The food is always consistently good. Full bar which is always a good thing. The apple dessert is the best part though!

I have dined here at least 20 times since opening and every dinner was excellent. I especially like the Sicilian style eggplant but every entree is tasty with generous portions. The salads and soups also are excellent. Be sure to try the risotto rice balls as an appetizer. Service has always been fast and friendly.

Food is ok, but not what Id call really good. Service was mediocre. They were quite busy, but had only one server, with the guy who is the host helping out. Lunch for 2 with no alcohol was $20, not a bad value. This was our 2nd visit, pretty much the same as the first. I dont think we will go back.

Our party of eight had the most wonderful experience. The food was phenomenal and our server, Jessie, was so attentive and delightful. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. We would recommend Wheat & Water to anyone looking for a very pleasant dining experience!

The food was AMAZING. Deliciously made and fresh. Only thing that upset me was the dessert options, wanted their zeppole, didnt over eat on purpose and saved room for desert so when I ordered, the server said they no longer have it, they took it off the menu. Yet it was on my menu.

A comfortably elegant place with great food. The salad was fresh, the pasta fagioli just right and the pasta dishes had roasted peppers and sweet Italian sausage. Hmmm! The staff quickly seated us even though they were busy. All were friendly and attentive.

Best Italian food in Sarasota/Bradenton. Best prices too! Wife and I eat there twice a week now...Ive tried everything on the menu, but my favorite is the "Chicken Marsala" The husband and wife {owners} are always there to greet you.

This is a hidden gem! Sourdough flown in from fishermans wharf daily. The best Italian dressing - if it were for sale we would buy bottles of it! We waited a year to try this place, now we go weekly its that good! 5 stars

Horrible service. Food quality and quantity is a total rip off for the price you pay. Never coming back. If you like this place, youd better go soon because they will be closing as soon as snow bird season is over.

I had the alfredo, which was extra tasty. My daughter had the veal marsala and that was quite yummy. The calamari was the best Ive ever had. My grandson had a little pizza and he ate it all up.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant in Bradenton or 941. Everything is made from scratch, including the pasta. The fettuccine Alfredo is to die for!

The Italian dressing is the best Ive ever had. Dipping the sour dough bread into the dressing is a garlic lovers dream!
