With over 15/years experience in the hotel, restaurant, and hospitality industry, intend to be somewhat demanding when it comes to quality service and a quality product. The first time I visit Italian garden the service was impeccable and the food was great I returned 3 days in a row for lunch! However after those first three times I have been greatly disappointed over and over. The service is very inconsistent I observed while some people were offered punch cards and some people were not I left my punch card sitting on my table to be stamped three times without a waitress ever picking it up or asking me about it at all, so I never mentioned it Im not looking to get something free anyway I happen to work next door and if it is raining it is one of the only places I can go to eat otherwise I never would have returned after my first negative experience. Today I watched three waitresses struggle while serving only 6 two tops. I know there are many facets that contribute to quality food and quality service so I will not lay the blame on the waitresses alone but I think its a little bit ridiculous. My other issue with Italian garden is consistency I usually order the gyro sandwich and have enjoyed it more than half a dozen times yet today it only had four very small slices of meat in it and was basically a salad on a piece of bread. My greatest disappointment was ordering their Greek salad being a Greek Italian restaurant you would think they take pride in something like a Greek salad yet it cost $9 and was served on a very small oval plate and was not much more than a handful of food. There are at least a half a dozen Greek restaurants in Greenville that service $7 Greek salad that is 3 times the size and loaded with feta cheese olives and cucumbers. I think my rating is a very good example of how when you satisfy a customer you dont necessarily hear positive reviews but when you upset a customer you get multiple negative reviews and they tell at least 5 people. The last time I ate there I watch the woman next to me wait 30 minutes before she was served. I think there might be hope for this restaurant but to all new patrons I sat RUN! IF THIS RESTAURANT IS BUSY YOU WILL REGRET IT. GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN. I have found that if I would like to enjoy my meal and get good quality service I would have to go when there are no cars in the parking lot

My boyfriend has always told me Italians and greeks are 2 different regions and to never eat at a place that advertises both, portofinos was closed so I made a rash decision. Huge mistake. No fresh garlic, no chopped flat parsley, no fake powdered garlic either as far as I can tell. The bread is a flat wet hoagie bun with the texture of a sponge and the 2 apps I ordered were obviously pre breaded and fresh from the freezer. I had the gnocchi special and it was textured like pasta, not potato. I support local businesses and refuse to eat at corporate chain restaurants, but locally established eateries have an obligation to hand make their food for the members of the community that support țhem.

We have drove by this place literally 1000 times we were looking for some good italian food. It was Great food. We had chic Alfredo, pepperoni calzone, lasagna, chic parm, baklava and cannoli. They are great portions for your money food was hot, Alfredo sauce and the Greek salad dressing were homemade, the bread for the canzone was seasoned well. The service was great. Our waitress brought our food out fast and hard great conversation about ethnic food. We will be back very..... very... satisfied with this place.

I wouldnt use the restraunt or the car dealership the owner is a cheap man whos only looking out for himself I used to work 6 days for 200 dollars and thats under the table cant live off that plus way to much family in the business with the menu being a lie when I worked most items that had salami and cheese didnt have the right types so we didnt use them and I know some of the cars are broke and still sold eitherway I wouldnt go to either of his businesses hes a bad man who only cares for himself.

Me and my boyfriend went there and it was terrible!!! Customer service was ok... The smell is horrible!!! And we ordered cheese fries for appetizer and when we took couple of our fries we found hair in there!!!! What can be more disgusting then that!!! We showed them the hair and said that we dont want anything else. They said that we have to pay for our coffee but nothing elses witch we did!!!! Anyways I will never in my life go there again!!!

Worst restaurant experience in some time. Service was fine. I ordered the seafood platter listed under the Chefs Specialties section of the menu. All the food was of the pre-breaded Sea-Pak variety. My Wifes Calzone was of poor quality as well. I couldnt recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thats unfortunate because we try to dine at smaller locally owned restaurants whenever possible.

Jan 2016: Things arent as good as they were our first time here. We still enjoy it, but little things missed made me disappointed. Ill be back, but not promising much more. A little disappointed this time. 9 mos ago: Oh My My! Love it, love it, love it!! The people are super friendly and the food is wonderful. Well be back,cant wait to bring family and friends

The best eggplant parmigiana in Greenville. This is one of my favorite dishes and I have tried it all over Greenville (and sorrounding areas). If Im in the mood for eggplant this is where I go. Very friendly atmosphere and excellent, attentive service. Family friendly but not especially oriented to the very young. No alcohol but wonderful tiramisu!

Amazing. The food and the atmosphere was just wow. Its not a heavy weight on your wallet and the food is awesome. Good quality and filling. Authentic Greek food. The gyro will absolutely make you die its so good. Come here for a quiet and pleasing meal you wont be disappointed.

Had the chicken Alfredo very skimpy on the sauce, sent back added water to the sauce, very little flavor couldnt taste any spice, even the garlic bread had little flavor. Easily the poorest quality food that I have ever had in an Italian restaurant. The tea was good.

The food was good and the waiter was really friendly. They dont have any alcohol which was a bit of a disappointment to me because I think having a glass of wine with Italian food is nice. Plus it had been a rough day so I was looking forward to some wine lol

I LOVE THIS PLACE. the girls and i were looking for a local italian restaurant late on a friday and this was the place we ended up at. it was delicious, reasonabley priced, and our waitress was so kind. ill definitely be back.

Great Italian and Greek food restaurant. Everybody at our table loved their dish. Very reasonably priced. The limoncello dessert is delicious as well as the tiramisu. BYOB so stop at Publix first to pick up a bottle of wine.
