The Goon is an excellent sports bar. The waitresses are always cute, but more importantly, friendly and helpful. Megan and Mia are the best. What I like about this place is that its where the locals go but if youre an outsider, youre treated with as much respect and attention as anybody else, you just might not get that hug when you arrive. Another reason to love The Goon is that while its a sports bar, they offer more to eat than just fried foods and burgers and wings (three of my favorites). You can get excellent salads, grilled vegetables and probably the best seafood in the county at this price point. This year, they started serving top-shelf liquors; plenty of big screen televisions and if nobodys "occupying" a certain TV, the waitresses are willing to put on whatever sport thats airing ... even Tour de France!

Regrettably the service has gone down hill. The last three times Ive been there theyve gotten my food order wrong, over charged me or just plain took to long to serve me. The last time the server tried to add her friends calamari to my order. She thought that because we were drinking we wouldnt check. Then she tried to tell me I ordered it.

Food excellent... interior yellow ceilings ....dirty dusty walls ... bad floors... needs some painting... bath rm mens ..bad...no paper towels.. service good if the girls arent all clustered together at the end of the bar... beer prices high..exterior cool.. need some cleaning though.. from 1 to 10 I rate this place a 7

HORRIBLE service. Waited over 30 minutes for our drinks , food was cold and nasty. Waitress was rude as hell for no reason. When we decide we were going to leave because of it the owner gave us a "free" shot to make us stay. I will NEVER go back to this place. Cannot see how it got a 5 star rating.

Had Fish Basket and beer. Fish was excellent with large portion. Paid $12.18 for meal - good price. Only bad part was paying with a fifty and getting 12 one-dollar bills back. Excuse was no 10s or 5s. Different waitress went to register and got me a ten. Good food...watch the service.

All the various sandwiches here are better than most anywhere else, but i go for the shrimp or oysters (in season). Beer is cold, price is right. Only drawback is that its a "small place" and getting a table can be a challenge during peak hours (11-1) and (5-7). But its worth a wait.

As always a great place to hang out! Service is great , the good as well and not too pricey. Plenty of tvs, its usually full but Ive found room one way or another. Our usual is hot wings, boneless wings, gator bites, broccoli bites, raw oysters, and fish nuggets. All great!

Food is hit or miss...sometimes its good..most times though it tastes like years of grit from cookware. Cant smoke inside, and cant take your drink outside...atmosphere is kinda hipster, if you like that kind of thing. Bike parking out front, but not really biker friendly.

Based on the handful of times Ive been here it isnt the place to go if you want to party or stand elbow to elbow with strangers. Its fun and friendly and the staff is amazing! Its a great place to hang out and the "artwork" on the tables and so forth is awesome. :)

This is our favorite restaurant and bar in Sebring, The food is always constantly good and the servers are easy to look at. There only drawback is the place is popular and busy most of the time. I guess thats is a testament to there food, and laid back atmosphere.

Smoking area at front door was a bit of a turn off. Food was good, pricing ok, servers were pleasant yet a bit in attentive & seemed to not be really enjoying their job. If you have another option to go to, would recommend going there. - Really not impressed.
