I used to love this place, but slowly but surely things have changed for the worst. First, they took totchos off the menu, and told us that they couldnt make them, even though they sell both nachos and tater tots....thats no way to treat loyal customers that are there at least twice a month. Then happy hour prices were discontinued, which we found out after we received our bill. Tonight unfortunately was the last straw....we showed up for Toxic Trivia, as we do every time there is Toxic Trivia, and although there is a sign saying that children wont be seated after 9:30, a family with kids was seated around 9:40. Toxic trivia is 21 and up, and is supposed to start at 10:00. When that table continued to sit and chat, long after trivia was supposed to start, everyone waiting for trivia was getting increasingly frustrated with the lack of action being taken to encourage them to leave. At 10:38, when one of our party loudly mentioned that she would like to start trivia, the owner reprimanded her for being "rude". Im sorry, but whats rude is making all of us wait because you didnt follow your own rules when you sat children after 9:30. Starting Toxic Trivia at 10:40, a game that normally takes about two hours from start to finish, and then expecting us to rush through it, ruins everyones good time. We are now FORMER loyal customers. If you want totchos, Redemption Alewerks down the street blows theirs out of the water! And since the restaurant wants to lie about timing, here are the real facts: The response from the owner is so full of inaccuracies that I just have to respond. 40 minutes is hardly 25. Trivia is supposed to start at 10, not 10:15. Also, when I went to use the restroom at around 10:15, their plates had been cleared, but they continued to sit and chat without a care in the world, despite the fact that everyone else at the restaurant was there waiting for trivia to start. Any competent owner would have gone to visit the table, and reminded them that they were holding all of the other paying customers up with their rudeness. Or, perhaps they wouldnt have allowed them to sit down at all, LIKE THE SIGN AT THE FRONT DOOR SAYS. Well see if any of those tables that were there for Toxic Trivia for the very first time will be returning....my guess is no.

Where do I begin with this place. This place was a huge 96th street legend. The service was great the people were great everything was perfect. My dog, bootstrap even loved the apps. Trivia was always a welcoming place to be on Thursdays. Over time the little things were starting to go wrong. First apps were half off, then they became, $5, then $6 and finally full price. So whats next DOUBLE THE PRICE. Another thing that bothered me were these workers kept saying they were a power couple. I dont even know what a power couple is but they kept saying that when we were trying to order food. Lastly trivia isnt even worth it because of the cheating. One of the waiters literally goes to his family and tells him the answer and goes back to becoming a waiter. I just miss the glory days. The glory days, now I just wanna take the money and run. (Just kidding would never do that) Overall the place use to be GREAT. 4 time champs about, now its just in the ruins or maybe the inferno. This place needs to be Great again, but it needs to be with the small things. Ive see a lot of garbage with the manager but shes awesome never had a problem with her. But they need to start to make CRH become great again.

The service here is awesome. But do NOT ever give this place your money. I have been frequenting this location for over two years playing toxic trivia, an over 21 year old event. Tonight I went here to play, per usual, and my evening was held up by 45 minutes because the owners did not care to respect my time. They instead allowed a family, who had been informed for this event well in advance, to sit for over an hour undisturbed. At this point I opted to vocalize my displeasure and was told to shut up by the owner. While I realize family time should be respected, I do not think i deserve to have my time time disrespected. Nor do I feel it is right to tell me to shut up. I am just as much a paying customer as the family. Mix the disrespect in with the fact their food is over priced. And they will NOT EVER allow someone to order something that is not specifically on the menu. It is not worth the time or the money to go here. (Oh but if you do want good tachos or burgers go to Redeption Ale Werks) But hey. Toxic Trivia is a blast. Maybe just go to a place that will allow you be to an adult instead...

Dont let the descent food fool you! They are over priced, change the menu often, and we had no warning when ordering our usual items from the1/2 price apps that those had been nixed from the menu completely after they had already gotten rid of a handful of our other favorites! Our usual waiter is always amazing but the owner is rude, arrogant, and has no love for loyal paying customers. Tonight a family with children was allowed to be seated AFTER 9:30 when the sign outside clearly reads 21+ ONLY after 9:30 for ToxicTrivia and subsequently also didnt even attempt to ask them to leave at all and made the entire rest of the restaurant wait over 40 minutes to start Trivia. That was the last straw for us, and we will no longer be giving them our money or wasting our time at this place.

The place was okay until they slowly started taking everything off the menu, then took away half price appetizers, then decided it was better to start toxic trivia 40 minutes late and speed through it like an inconvenience. After two years of sitting in our lucky booth every other Friday, we are ready to leave this "fine establishment." Why have rules if you arent going to enforce them? Why is it okay to disrespect MY time, if I am also a paying customer? Not just me, but a room full of people who arrived ten minutes before its scheduled time. I am saddened by how much this establishment has changed since I first started attending both toxic and family trivias. Edit to add that if you want better totchos go to Redemption Alewerks!!

Phenomenal wing sauces. B-dubs better watch out because the bold & unique flavor of the Sweet Thai Chili sauce is vastly superior to the mundane, lowest common denominator approach, B-dubs seems to have taken in an attempt to achieve variety/diversity in their creation of the slightly comparable "Asian Zing" sauce. I personally like to get a side of the firecracker sauce to dab the sweet chili glazed wings into rather than the my typically necessary ranch or bleu cheese side to give the chain restaurants a semblance of flavor. Oriental sesame, hot BBQ and sweet BBQ all deserve honorable mention as well at CR Heroes; yum yum

We came on a friends recommendation and are glad we did. What we didnt know is that you are supposed to bring at least one child with you when you come. I think number of "under 13" year olds was equal to the "13 and over" crowd. But they were all very well behaved. The place can be packed, so plan accordingly. We started with the pretzles and they were very good. I had the breaded tenderloin which was excellent (thicker than most, not tenderized to be paper thin and the size of a plate). My wife had the"Love me tender" chicken tenders and they were great (maybe her favorites in town). We will certainly be back.
