My boyfriend and I always passed this place and yet we never came in. Tonight we finally came in and MY GO4D this place is great! Everything is clean and just feels so sanitary. We were greeted with a smile as soon as we walked in. Joyce is the best. She told us about everything on the menu and EVERYTHING sounded delicious. Im a super picky eater and she made me want to try every thing on the menu! The chef a made our food right in front of us and its so interesting to watch how they make it. The best part of our short visit was when Joyce offered is a plate with the chefs special on it. The dish had no name, it was like it was a creative moment made on a plate. It was sooo gooood!!!! The tiny details of the place from the centerpieces to. The toothpick dispenser made this place unique. The pictures on the menu alone looked professional and made the food look so tantalizing. The prices were reasonable too. We will DEFINITELY be back again. And again. And one more time after that.

i love this restaurant. the owners are super nice and passionate about good food. the sushi is done artistically and the fish is always fresh and good. ive had the sushi many times. ive tried many of the entrees and theyve all been excellent. the pad thai is reliably tasty, better than most "thai" restaurants, definitely the best ive found in kingston. definitely give this place a try, its in the same location as a series of mediocre restaurants before it, but the pattern has been broken! i hope the people of kingston catch on and give yasuda enough business for them to stay in town. young, passionate restauranteurs who care about good food.

Joyce went out of her way to introduce herself and ensure that my date and I had a wonderful experience. It couldnt have been better. The service was terrific, the sushi was fresh, ALL of the food was fantastic, and everything was plated beautifully and with love. The prices were surprisingly reasonable given the quality and variety of what we were served. My date and I eat out a LOT and were pretty picky. This was well worth the 20-minute drive to Kingston (beating out New Paltzs best, even). I cant recommend this place highly enough. Park behind the restaurant (driveway is between Yasuda and Dunkin Donuts).

I travel the state frequently and only recently found this sushi spot. Ive been back twice and I can tell you that outside of the city this place has the freshest and best tasting sushi around. Great appetizers, try the sushi pizza and sandwich as well as the salmon carpaccio. The hand rolls are great as well and the service couldnt be better. Dont miss out if you are in the area.

This is a small shop on Broadway, but do not let the size fool you. This is no dive. It is comfortable and inviting, whether you are taking out, sitting at the sushi bar or sitting in for dinner. The sushi was fresh and inventive, the flavors varied and complex, and the servings are impressive. The staff here is really, really friendly, even for takeout.

This was a fantastic recommendation from our hotel. Area and restaurant front slightly deceiving, but clean and nice ambiance inside with friendly staff. The sashimi was melt in your mouth fresh and the unique maki rolls were fantastic and good selection of sake. Pricing was also very reasonable.

This place has been in business for about a year. They have a beer and wine license and that makes things just a little better. I love the Kingston roll and the seaweed salad. Great sushi and great value!

I loooove this sushi. It is always delicious and pretty fast. The Beef Nagimaki appetizer is super delicious. They are so friendly and nice. Totally a hidden gem in Kingston.
