So this location follows a legacy of great Japanese food as it was the former Royal Tokyo up through the last decade or so. After a few runs as successors, Kaze has really picked up the mantle. Honestly I would say that there arent enough stars for me to give this place because theyve surpassed Royal Tokyo in just about every conceivable aspect of a Japanese restaurant. Their food quality is absolutely amazing, their hospitality is fantastic and they still have that running sushi train in the bar area, which I always thought was cute. The only thing Id like to see is for them to restore the one feature that place had that even Benihana doesnt which is the private party rooms with the floor level tables. That to me would render the experience beyond authentic because they even let you buy fish food to feed the fish outside when you leave. I remember when Kaze first opened and they made one hell of an impression on me. Lo and behold, the last time I went there it was crowded to the gills on a Sunday night close to closing hours. If you want a ridiculously authentic experience, please go here when its crowded at the tables so you can sit at the sushi bar while you wait.

First review though I have been eating here for years. Wonderful warm service. From the friendly greeting to the five star service, start to finish I have never been disappointed here. Lunch special is one of the most affordable and delicious options if you need a quick lunch. The sushi train varies daily but every choice is top notch fresh and delicious. If you are ordering dinner or off the menu Cherry Roll, either of their Crayfish rolls, the towers, Monkey Brains appetizer and the Quail egg shooter top my list The chefs are always innovating so there are always new options to try. Fresh and delicious with a huge menu and really affordable choices. Best though is the wonderful people who work there. Try it. You will NOT be disappointed.

First of all it was lunch hour and it was dead, not one car in parking lot...bad sign to me. Second, I love California rolls, so thats all I went in there for. I always ask how they make it, rice in the outside, how the crab meat is mixed, cucumber, avocado? As soon as I hear, "just crab stick, no mayo" I run the other direction bc those types of California rolls do not taste good to me (they are dry and bland) I cant say anything about the rest of the food. But if a place that serves sushi cant get a California roll delicious, that signals something to me.

Really fun for my daughters first time to hibachi! Chef was fun.. My only complaint was they got my boyfriend & mine steaks mixed up... Long story short, we didnt notice until we were almost done eating, & he wanted to taste mine. Still tasted great, but we both kinda wished we had what we had ordered. I also took a bite of my daughters chicken, & it was pretty dry. Portions were perfect, miso soup was yummy. Price was great, too. $60 for 3 of us.

This place is great. I called earlier in the week for a party of 16 for Sat PM to celebrate my daughters birthday. They were very accommodating and put us in a room that was virtually private. They were very tentative and considering the size of the group our orders were taken quickly, beverages always filled and food cooked quickly. Great staff and will definitely go here again. Oh and the kids loved the koi pond and food to give to them!

My husband and I tried Kaze today and were not disappointed. We were lucky to get there before the big dinner rush and enjoyed an awesome tableside Habachi experience. Our chef was alot of fun and the food was great and seasoned just right. I would recommend them over other habachi resturants in Dallas because they have alot to choose from on the menu, even dessert, for a reasonable price for the whole experience. We will definitely come again.

There not one thing about this place I do not like. The hibachi is amazing, much more theatrical and hilarious. The sushi is amazing fresh and consistent. I recommend trying the tango roll if you like salmon it is excellent. Not to mention outstanding customer service the sushi chefs are so sweet, and go above and beyond for you. The waitstaff is also fantastic, some of the most polite people Ive ever met!

Ive been coming here for years and I still love it. Everything is good. Try the Tako salad best octopus salad. O and their house salad dressing is amazing and I always get the red bean fried ice cream after my meal. If you like sushi try the melting pot roll. And their kaze tower is super yummy. Kaze fire roll is something I always get. I love it.

Had a fantastic dinner here! Our waiter, Nathan, was very attentive and gave great suggestions. The food was delicious and well priced for what you get. Great hibachi "show" and sushi was good too. Generous portions. We wont on a Monday and it had just rained, so it was pretty slow, but still a great atmosphere. I cant wait to come back!

Their hibachi Ribeye is by far the tastiest Ribeye I have had at a restaurant. It rivals many steakhouses. Our waitress, Kimmy, was extremely polite and attentive, as was the rest of the staff. The price was also very affordable. We paid $30-40 less than other hibachi restaurants in the area. Definitely worth another visit!

This place has very reasonably priced sushi and hibatchi offerings. Amazing revolving sushi buffet on weekdays, complete with miso soup and salad with ginger dressing. I have visited this restaurant for many years and we love to celebrate family birthdays here. They have a very beautiful restaurant and water garden.

Our hibachi guy didnt seem too enthusiastic about what he was doing. The rice and veggie portion of our meals seemed skimpy. the food was alright. I ordered salmon and he asked if I wanted it a little under, I said yes and then he cooked the hell out of it. It was still good just over done.

Service was very slow. then waitor made.very racist comment asking me if I would like some hot sauce. moments later I asked why he would think I wanted hot sauce and he stated that usually black people ask for hot sauce. I was greatly offended by this! pass on this place.

Kaze is a wonderful, family-friendly restaurant where the food is fresh and very good, the service is outstanding, and the price is reasonable. Jean runs a great staff who will remember you on return visits, even months later. Get the Beni experience at half the price!

First time going here. The atmosphere was wonderful!! Reminded me of when I was a child and went to Japan. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. And the food was amazing and so well prepared! Although a bit pricey, I will DEFINITELY be going back!!!!!!!

Super fun place! I will be back. Chef‘s were very entertaining. They put on an excellent show and popped little bits of air born food from the spatula aimed right at your mouth. Optional of course. I do recommend this place. Yes I do! Quite the experience.

Food tasted old, especially the chicken and steak; like they had been in the refrigerator for a while. Place smelled like cheap cleaning products. Service was novice at best. Folks were nice enough but just amature. For the money I spent I wont go back.
