I ordered their $9.50 special: eggs, toast, hash browns with orange juice (extra) and corned beef hash (extra). I got suspicious when the heavily tattooed Spanish waitress gave me a greasy - no kidding - check with illegible writing on it. I tried asking her about it and was shooed to the front cashier; an old man with a heavy Spanish accent who histrionicly exclaimed he could neither speak Spanish or English. I was courteous and never raised my voice yet the whole clientele in this greasy spoon espied this ongoing ripoff. Long story short, to avoid what was adding up to a full scale riot I paid the $24.75 dollar price for the mediocre breakfast. Maybe they didnt like my "go Texans" t-shirt.

Expect to pay a pricey 68 $ for 4 people Breakfast (NO DENNYS PRICES HERE BEWARE) There is not much restaurant choices around the area for breakfast neither . The food was ok no fancy cooking or flavors but at least they had corn beef hash and fresh orange juice in this retro style diner that reminds me of one of those Seinfeld Dinners Episodes. Also get ready for a boisterous waitress lady that runs for your order and serves efficiently (quite a character) Some people may like her some other may not at least I laugh and enjoy the experience .

A true locals spot. This random little gem can be found tuck away in the back of a shopping center on Key Biscayne. We came across it totally by accident. Its small and tightly packed inside, but the staff are warm, friendly, and the food is classic down home goodness. Its also probably one of the cheapest meals youll find in all of Miami, let alone Key Biscayne. Well definitely be coming back anytime we happen to be in the area.

It has more than 40 years in Key Biscayne. Over here, you’ll probably eat what could have cooked at home,but you were so lazy you didn’t. Basically, they serve simple food like: eggs, bagels, hamburgers and salads. The quality is good,but not exceptional; the interesting part is its ambience which makes you feel like you are living in the past. By the way, something very curious, is the fact that they dont sell “donuts”.

My family has been coming here since the 60s, when they lived on Harbor Drive. The food is great and service speedy. Coffe tastes great! Nelson and family are terrific people and its a fun experience. If you like news and history about Key Biscayne, this is the place. Get there early, as the joint parking for all the stores there is tight.

This place has been around for a long time. There is a good reason for that. The food was amazing! There wasnt a long wait for it either. The place is a little small but I loved that homey feel. The fresh squeezed oj complimented my meal well. Try this place out you will not be disappointed!

Really disappointed, Went there because of the good reviews I saw and when my order came what a disappointment.. "french toast" was dry and basically bread dipped in egg, the cheese wasnt really cheese, milkshake was basically out of a box.. and on top of that highly overpriced!!

Food was pretty good. Omelette was burnt at the end, but decent. Cool little place. - 3 Stars for the service. We came in before a group of people (family/friends of someone who worked here?) and our food was made last. We were also pretty much ignored.
