Excellent food! Friendly, polite and professional waiters and waitresses! The owner who does all of the cooking herself, is an Awesome chef who makes all of her authentic cuisine by hand from scratch! Dont be surprised if she stops by your table some time during the course of your meal to make sure everything is to your satisfaction. Im retired military that was stationed in Germany for four years (92-96) and ate my share of old fashioned, perfectly seasoned schnitzel but havent had any since 1996, that until yesterday when some good friends of ours invited us to the Europen Cafe for lunch. The setting is also traditional Europen, quant and cozy inside with a spacious patio/beer garden outside (soon to offer live music). Following in the traditional European lifestyle, where eating a meal is a time to be spent relaxing, socializing and catching up with family and friends, the clientele are not impatient to have their food on the table within 10 minutes of placing their order, and this is not their standard either. So if you are looking for a typical conglormorate, fastfood chain quality food experience this is Not the place for you.

What a cute place. Well be back for sure. We went for lunch. My wife and I shared the Salmon Salad and our friends shared the chicken version. Both were wonderful. The salmon was in huge chunks and was smoked wonderfully. The candied walnuts are a great touch as well. It comes with an over-medium egg on top which seemed weird at first but really fit in and gave the salad a neat groove. Dog-friendliness note: we had dogs on the patio and they fit right in. There was even a metal bowl waiting for them. I appreciated that. Yana was our server and she made us feel welcome and valued.

I really want to give this place 5 stars because their food is excellent and the atmosphere pleasant. Unfortunately, the service is consistently lacking in all aspects. Im not saying this as one who has only been there once, I have given this place at least 10 chances (as I said the food is good) and maybe once have I had quick and good service. Its a real shame as I live close by and would love to just walk to have a nice meal, its just not possible with this place at the current time. Hopefully they can reconfigure the staff so I can come back to enjoy this restaurant again.

What an epic failure!!!!!!! We decided to try this place for breakfast.. big mistake, two other tables came in ahead of us.. the waitress was out of control. She took our drink order, forgot it took it again, never brought it, took it again.. when she took our order she never turned it in.... 45 minutes later the other lady said she would check on our order. But never came back with our food. I finally had to get up, find someone and ask about our food... I asked if our food was order was turned in. And I still got "Im trying to find out"... we finally just left..

A very new addition to the rapidly growing (or regrowing, depending on your perspective) stretch of Colorado Avenue west of I-25. The location is a quaint house that has been converted into this cafe and restaurant. Art from local artists is displayed on the walls and is available for purchase. The menu is simple, with an emphasis on Polish classics such as goulash and pirogi. The pirogi are the highlight of the menu, with each variety absolutely delicious. The salmon plate is worth mentioning as well. The wine is extensive, but Im no expert so I cant judge it properly.

BLOWN AWAY by the pierogis! I ate all the flavors and was pleasantly surprised. I spent over an hour seated in the Bier Garten and was thoroughly impressed! I enjoyed the Kielbasa and homemade Kraut with mashed potatoes and 5 mushroom Gravy for my entree along with the recommended Oktoberfest brew. Perfect Pairing. The last Item was a fresh strawberry crepe topped with powdered sugar and sweet whipped cream paired with a Crabbies alcoholic ginger beer over ice w/lemon. Best lunch I have enjoyed in a month or more! I shall tell everyone!

This is a glorious little gem I discovered in Old Colorado City. Its run by a delightful Polish woman named Bożena who came and personally greeted everybody in the restaurant. It was fun talking to her, and was one of the highlights of this place. The food is of course wonderful. The pierogi are quite old-fashioned. If youre a pierogi fan, theres probably no better compliment than that. They rank with my favorite pierogi Ive had in Poland. I heartily recommend this place!

I went here for breakfast with my wife after dropping the kids off for school. The food was very good and the fact that the waiter answered all of my wifes questions about the food for her allergies is a big plus. The helped ensure what we had was in line with dietary restriction and just damn tasty. Id recommend the breakfast here and we will definitely be back for other meals soon.

I was looking for a spot for breakfast in Old Colorado City on a busy Saturday morning, and noticed the European Cafe. I stopped in with my family, and we were very impressed! The coffee is as strong as they said it would be, exactly how I like it. I had the potato pancake and it was a great breakfast portion. Next time I am in the Springs, I will have to try the dinner!

My family ate breakfast here. The iced latte was really just an iced coffee. The toast was seemingly stale. The main dishes heavily relied on cheese, butter, and salt for their flavor. Breakfast is very much an afterthought at European Cafe. It also took 20 minutes to receive our bill after we finished eating.

My family and I eat breakfast here almost every weekend. The service is great and the food is consistent. They have the best crepes in town. I have read some of the lower reviews, and I hope that these two people try again, what they describe is not the place I go to every week.

I work right down the street @ Peak Auto Service so this is very convenient and the home-cooked food is always delicious and the owner and her staff are always welcoming and friendly. Ive eaten here multiple times and have always enjoyed it. Highly Recommended.

The food was extremely delicious! Very cozy and "homey" atmosphere. I wouldnt take my kids here, and it was kinda pricey, but SO worth it. They were very careful with my dairy allergy and made sure that what they made was 100% dairy free. I appreciated that!

I had the crepes and eggs. Figured it would be tasty, but when I took my first bite, it was beyond savory! I couldnt get over how delicious it was. The side potatoes couldve been cooked a few minutes more. I will return again and again.

One of the top breakfast sandwiches Ive had in my life! Romantic atmosphere, and the staff is awesome. I will make a point to hit this place for breakfast every time Im in The Springs. They really know how to cook an egg. Butter! Yes!

LEGIT. great food, super relaxing beer garden, and a really good choice of german beers. The pierogi are spot on and I ended up staying past my lunch break to drink another beer. Huge fan of the Frulli and the Skullsplitter.

We stumbled on this gem when we were wandering around OCC. The patio was comfortable, the food was delicious and the wait staff was attentive and en pointe. This may be our new "spot".
