Id rate the food itself 4 stars. While it wasnt the best Ive ever had, I still very much enjoyed the coconut curry chicken. Great flavor and as usual when you order Indian food spicy they delivered. The rice was also served in smaller portions through out the meal to keep warm and fresh, a nice touch. Food is priced fairly compared to other Indian restaurants. Like others have mentioned the service was quite terrible. The waiting staff was very friendly but Im not sure what the hold up was? It wasnt busy, there were plenty on severs on hand, and yet we still waited 10+ minutes before being offered water/drinks. I had to ask a passing server about the beer I ordered 10 minutes after that. Also noticed the same was happening with near by restaurant goers. If you value the food over service this shouldnt be much of an issue. Very good Indian food for a college town in the mountains of NC, were lucky to have it. I would definitely recommend. Just dont be surprised if the water takes a couple 13 14 minutes to arrive.

Overall: 10/10 Food:10/10 Service:8.5/10 Atmosphere:9/10 Price: $ (cost us <$30 for Sunday brunch for 2) From the moment you walk in, you are over come with the wonderful aroma of delicious food. The decor is unique, but very nice and elegant. We enjoyed the all you can eat lunch buffet and everything was AMAZING. The meats were tender, flavorful and well cooked, the vegetables were surprisingly flavorful and we enjoyed everything. I cannot say anything negative about the food here, it was incredible! Lets not forget the Sunday brunch special, all you can enjoy mimosas! You heard that correctly. Service was good, and staff was friendly. Drinks never got empty and someone was always available if we needed something. Mint is a fantastic establishment that I cannot recommend enough! If you like good food, this is the place...not to mention its very easy on the wallet.

Unexpectedly Incredible. We had the dinner for 2 which should be renamed dinner for 4. Everything was hot and fresh. The staff was very attentive. Upscale decor and food presentation. Im going to say the best samosa ive ever had with a light crispy wrapper and moist potato filling. Though i graduated and moved beyond chicken tikka in 5th grade, i also have to admit it was one of the best ive ever had, so juicy and perfect. Only downside was the naan, it was a little more like flat biscuit dough, but hey, we are in north carolina. Will definately eat here again when i come back to Boone.

I love Mint! Their lunch buffet offers the most amazing deal with all you can eat Indian food for $10.00! They offer multiple salads, an amazing variety of sauces (love the mint sauce!!!) and their rice and naan bread is in limitless supply. The entrees vary, and are always incredible. Rice and fruit pudding is offered for dessert! I love their coconut soup!!! And they offer a student discount too! Come hungry! Dont forget the candied fennel seeds on your way out :) It can be really hard to find a parking space during lunchtime. Very clean.

We got there during the peak dinner hours and there was already a large group just starting to order. The service was quick and friendly, they were out of the wine we order but the brought a suggested bottle that turned out to be better thab what we had ordered! Great service! We got the curry chicken (mild) and chicken korma(med-hot) both we out very quick. They tasted amazing and paired well with naan bread we ordered. The portion was enough to fill us up! Was a great time!

Ive been here several times, traveling an hour just to eat here. However, after todays experience, I will never return. I was having lunch when I stirred my food a bit and there was a huge bug in it. Gross. To make matters worse, when I got up very shortly after to go to the restroom, I noted the pan from which Id taken my food was still there. The waiter thought it was appropriate to apologize to someone else in my group instead of me.

The lunch buffet is awesome and dinner is even better. Its a great date night with excellent food and a full bar. Update: Ive eaten here several times and it only furthers my positive review. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Boone. The service its always polite and prompt. The food is ALWAYS delicious. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants something different and delectable.

Absolutely horrible... have 3 staff members standing around not doing anything at all staring at us. The chicken korma was a pre planed abortion. The nann reminded me of loose wet dough. Mexicans cook the food in the back as well not real indians. I will never ever return... you are better off with top ramen for the night if you are suggesting this place

The staff is very nice and the food is GREAT! They have a variety of options that appeal to vegetarians as well. The staff is very friendly, we ate dinner the night before and attended for lunch the next day and we were remembered which is a good feeling. Great price of only $10 for a lunch buffet. Dinner is reasonably priced as well! One of my favorites!

The food was really good but the service was absolutely awful. Waiter visited the table only twice, one of those while on the phone. Their manager on duty became morr attentive to the table, but it does not fix the quality of the server I had. The others may be better, but I do noy reccomend the place with my experience.

Each time I eat at Mint I find new favorites! The buffet is an excellent way to explore some Indian treats. From their menu, my latest favorite dish is their Creamy Chicken Coconut Curry. The restaurant is beautiful, staff is very attentive and friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious!!

Hands down the BEST Indian cuisine in Boone. The lamb curry was AMAZING. The curry I ordered was medium-hot and i couldnt feel my tastebuds afterwards (personally, thats a plus for me). Also, the drinking glasses they provide will make a noise if you rub the rim with a wet finger.

Amazing food. Friendly staff. Great lunch spot. My kids are welcomed too. I love the vegan and vegetarian options, and the spicy pickle on the condiment bar is tops. My kids favorite is chicken tiki marsala and tomato soup. Be sure to try the lamb or goat dishes.

We went to Mint on Sunday for their buffet. They have a nice buffet that is mostly gluten free. The only things on the buffet that have gluten is the dessert and the bread. The food is great.
