I confess that I dont know too much about Korean food, so I cant vouch for Triple B Freshs authenticity (or not), but Im a big fan of their rice bowls. This is basically the Chipotle or Subway of Korean food - you have control over every element of ordering & watch them make it through glass. I dont like eggs, so I always do the choose-your-own with vegetables (kale, cucumber salad, kimchi, edamame) & the spicy pork over black rice. Actually, the fact that they have black rice is my favorite thing about them - where can you get black rice bowls?! Everything is, indeed, fresh, & it makes for a perfect, easy lunchtime meal. I try not to go here at the lunch rush, though, because I get a little bit overwhelmed & am not sure what to order on the fly, so if you need a little bit more space to figure out your order, go on off-peak times. This place is a little tough to find, near the back of Kramerbooks. Its off the beaten path, but I hope it stays in business. Its a great addition to Dupont!

We ate dinner here, each ordering the simple bibimbap; I got chicken, my husband got steak. Weve had great bibimbap before so were comparing our experience here to these previous, great experiences. Id say Triple B Fresh is... acceptable. Its a lot better than I could do at home. And its affordable. But this isnt the mouth-watering bibimbap that is out there. Instead, its a little lukewarm? A little easy? Still, I would go back. I crave good bibimbap and have found that other places in the city arent doing anything wildly special, either, but are charging far more than Triple B Fresh does. I wish they had more comfortable seating. Its just chairs lined up against a wall with a small counter. Not as relaxing or intimate as regular tables. It looked like there was outdoor seating, but it was just too cold for that. I did appreciate that their chip area featured more than just the usual Lays and Doritos.

Triple B Fresh is a great option for an easy lunch in Dupont Circle. I love bibimbap, and Triple B Fresh is up to par. Personally I like to order the classic bowl, which comes with a set list of vegetables and a choice of meat. If you like spicy the pork is great, and if you want more mild go for the bulgogi (beef). You also have the option to make your own bowl and pick and choose what goes in it. They have four types of rice, which is nice (you must try the black rice!). My coworkers like to order the roll, which is basically the ingredients of the bibimbap rolled up into an extra large sushi roll. The best part is the price is in the $10 range and its a very filling, which is a great deal for lunch in Dupont.

Fun environment with a very friendly staff. Korean restaurant (김밥천국) style decor definitely adds to the experience. Outdoor seating is in the shade in the evening. Music is US Top 40. The BiBimBap was good and included many authentic Korean components (Sesame oil/seed, sunny side up egg, option for purple rice, etc) but was nothing particularly memorable despite the large portion size. Meat is included in addition to the egg. The Seafood pancake (해물파전) was freshly prepared and had some good flavor but ended up being too salty with the sauce. For the newcomer to the Korean scene, I would highly recommend Triple B Fresh. Overall, a good place to sit down for a fairly authentic Korean experience.

Bulgogi Bibimbap $10 (4/5 NOMs) Lets go bulgogi all over bibimbap! Excited to try a Chipotle style place dedicated to making Bibimbap, a Korean rice dish. You get a choice of classic or built your own. Lazy today and going with classic for our very first foodie adventure. Its a rice dish and so there is a whole lot of rice with vegetables and extremely spicy sauce. For our meat, we can never pass up on Bulgogi. And of course, not to forget sunny side up egg on top. Mix everything together and enjoy a very nomnom dish. You could really taste every flavor combined together into one unique flavor. Big portion, so be ready to be stuffed.

Fast, fresh, and flavorful food in a no-frills space, Triple B is a quirky spot to grab a bite. Designed on the assembly line/Chipotle model, you can create a customized bowl from dozens of vegetable and protein options, or go with a traditional bibimbap. While portions tend to be on the smaller size, prices are reasonable and staff are prompt and friendly.

Tasty Korean bowls in a no frills, underground fast casual restaurant. The value proposition is very strong as the extremely complicated, flavorful and fresh dishes are all under $10. Its a definite go to if you live in the area and a place to consider checking out if youre passing through and want something quick and cheap.

For the city this place is pretty good. I am a bit biased from living in Korea for a few years. This is the perfect in and out place for lunch. Come here during the work week to grab kimbap or a make your own bowel. The portion size is decent and the ingredients are fresh.

Delicious...but be careful. I did a create your own bowl and didnt realize that you were only allowed 4 veggies. I got 8. Fortunately the owner was super nice and didnt charge me for the extra 4. Almost no seating inside and its underground...which is kinda cool

I had high expectations coming here after seeing the place on Google. Despite my highest expectations I was still pleasantly surprised at how fresh and good tasting the food options were. Staff was friendly. Worth a visit.

It seems mostly a takeout place - and if the style of food is your thing, youll very likely enjoy it. I only found it OK, but I think that it was more my personal dislike for the food (not anything being wrong with it).

What excellent value for money ($12 will see you full) for a very fresh and healthy bibimbap bowl. Cold or heated in a stone bowl, this is an excellent stop for lunch or the weary traveller, sick of burgers.

Nice and small, not a lot of seating but people rotate through a lot so something always opens up. Really good custom bibimbap bowls. Im sure the outside seating is nice when its not 20 degrees out.

Good place for a quick Korean dinner. The meat selection is good but be sure to tell whether you are eating there or taking it to go as there are different plates used.

Really pretty good "Chipotle" style Korean Bibimbop place. Decently priced and the food is good. Pretty small so might be hard to find a seat if its busy.

They have cool novelty things like bulgogi rolls and other good korean food. Not the most flavorful, but still good and healthy.

The people who work they are nice. There should be more scaffolding for people who try some korean diahes for the first time.
