I gave this place a 2.0 only because of good Management. The rest is below par. We went on 3-5-16 (Saturday) at 5:00 PM. It was starting to get busy. The waitress must have been new because she was constantly behind with our service, and after watching, all of her tables. We ordered the nachos, and a chicken fried steak. I asked if they served brown gravy, and they said they did. Thats what I requested. The food took 55 minutes to arrive. The nachos were room temperature at best, and starting to get soggy on the bottom. A sure sign that they were ready for a bit. They looked great and wife said they tasted great. The CFS came without the gravy. The waitress said she couldnt carry it all at once (???) and was going back for it. Since our food took as long as it did, I set my stopwatch on my phone as she left, and intentionally did not start eating. Eleven minutes later, she came back and said they were just now making the brown gravy, they dont get many orders for it, and she didnt know how long it would be. She also suggested I take cream gravy or perhaps Ranch Dressing(on a CFS?). I told her that the nachos arrived almost cold. so I assume the CFS is by now cold, so I handed the plate, pointed out that it hadnt been touched, and told her I didnt want it. I also told her to take it off the bill because I wasnt paying for it. She agreed and asked if I would like to substitute for something else. I told her that as long as it took for this to arrive, and that they were even busier, I wasnt willing to wait. She said OK, and left. A minute later the Manager (Tim) came over and asked what the problem was with my meal. I told him the details, and he also suggested a substitution. He apologized and said they were getting hammered by the rush. They took it off the bill. My suggestion is this. If you go here, do not go during a peak hour and you might fare OK. The Management takes care of issues promptly and is courteous. However, we came here to eat a decent meal, not to have pleasant conversation with Management. This place has been open about two years, give or take. You would think by this time they would have learned how to handle a New Braunfels crowd efficiently, being a tourist town and all. Im spending my money elsewhere

Worst experience I have ever had. 1. We come in and wait forever for the waitress to come to our table. Then I notice that they seat two group of costumers and they are waited on the very second they were seated. 2. Before grabbing the two group of costumers one of the waitress saw us and motioned for someonelse to serve us. I brought this to my waitress attention and her response was because of shift change and because we sat in the corner. The groups that were waited on promptly were also in the opposite corner of us and the second couple was outside, so I brought that to her attention as well and she walked off saying shes going to get the manger before I could finish my sentence. 3. The manger comes to our table assuming that we just want a discount. 4. We were there before the two groups of costumers not only were they waited on first, but also received their food first. 5. After receiving our food our fries were cold, the chicken strips were cold and it tasted as if our food had been sitting out for a long period of time. -From an unsatisfied costumer and future costumers beware!!!!

If you havent been here before, the ordering system is a bit different. You order at the front, like you would at a Mcdonalds or something like that ( big menu on the wall behind the counter). The person writes down your order, then hands it back to you, you walk past the drink machine and serve yourself, then find a table. Eventually, a server comes and takes your written down order and puts it in. The food itself was pretty mediocre, our burger was seeping grease through the bun, the fruit order with our kids meal was literally a cup of fruit that would would buy at the store ( you know, little plastic cup with foil lid). The corn dog bites my son got tasted really bland, but at least the fries had an interesting seasoning on them. They do have a solid beer selection, lots of TVs and if youre into that sorta thing, some sandpits for your kids to get ringworm in.

Stopped tp eat there because I had coupon for discount on lemonade n appetizers. Very few customers which suited us fine. Placed orders n informed girl that we had coupon. Orders were delivered fast. From that point on service deteriorated. Tried getting servers attention to request spoon for my wife who has Parkinson n needs spoon to feed hetself. There were plenty of staff all milling around talking n having a good time. Decided 2 leave after no response n flagged a waiter over to request takeout boxes. another 15 min. n no boxes n waiter walking by us several times. Finally got our server to come to our table n informed her that we were leaving due to poor service n needed our check. Manager came over n apologized for service etc. Paid our bill n noticed that we didnt even get coupon discount! We normally go there weekly but will not be returning.

I will NEVER eat here again after today...and this was are go to spot...NEVER again. I have never been so disappointed in a favorite place. Took 20 minutes just for someone to come by the table and after that straight downhill...I had to go look for a Togo box and asked multiple times for someone to get us a bill...the guy who I asked for a box from told me to go sit back at my table...really? Took us another 20 minutes after that to get box and a check...then the waiter gave my card to the table next to us...who looked like they were happy to keep it...yeah...never again.

I would normally give this location 5 stars but tonight we got a to go order. The girl who took our order (Kylie) was extremely rude on the phone and acted like we were an annoyance for placing a to go order. When we got to the restaurant she was even more rude to us. I realize customer service is a very difficult job but if you dont want the job quit. Dont treat your customers that way. I spoke with the manager and told her what happened. Couldnt tell if she really cared or not. I love the food at Willies but if this continues to happen I wont be back.

Love there food and freat service ...chicken fried steak is a great size for what you pay hamburgers are yum andd catfish, everything is pretty great there for the price you pay ....except one night was disappointed ,went in about 930on sat. got small catfish/shrimp plate and when got food plate was alllll fries and two shrimp one and half catfish,was a bit disappointed about it figured was late and weekend so wont be going at that time no more

Has gone down hill a lot. Do not care for the short shorts in my face as I am eating my food. Food is not well managed. Very tasteless. People taking the orders do not listen or do not understand what you want. More like there heads in the air and not really paying attention to what is being said to them. More and more like a McDonalds just order by number then maybe you will get something close to what you want.
