Hard to. My husband, a gourmet chef, and I had such an amazing lunch, I dont know where to start. For about 39 years Ive tried to find a restaurant he would enjoy fully. Usually something goes wrong, service, food, cold bread, whatever. Not today! My Christmas present will keep me happy for years. Him? Hard to tell how long. I made major Brownie points, about 1000. Ceasar salad wonderful, minestrone great (hard to please me here), bread nice and fresh and WARM! Steak was perfect (so hard to do), chicken picatta perfect tenderness and lemony, creme brulee sufficient crust and body, ideal, and espresso great (hard in his eyes). The waiter was most gracious and helpful and seemed to truly enjoy our mirth. Weve lived in Arizona for 2 years, and my husband was sure there was no restaurant up to his liking and standards. Sure proved him wrong today!!! Well done. He is still talking about it, into the night. Thank you Brio, from 2 very happy Italians!

This USED to be one of my faveorite places to eat but after my last experience I will never go back. Not only were the Host extremely rude the manager who was on duty was also a complete jerk. I dont know if it was my peacefully sleeping baby or my Mexican fiancé but we never got seated after waiting almost 30 minutes meanwhile the dinning room was EMPTY and every single party that walked in after us was immediately seated. We were sitting directly in front of the host in an empty waiting area and completely ignored. After I told the host 3 times that she seated someone else before us I went to the manager who Im not even kidding walked up to the host started talking to her while another party walked in and what did he do? He sat them! As we started walking out they tried seating us. We left. Ive never been treated so horribly before and Im completely disgusted by their staff.

Weve been here several times. Reverse happy hour (after 9pm) is very good. Strangely there are no drink specials at this happy hour, but their bar menu has some very tasty eats. Weve tried most of the items and theyre all good. Cant beat the value during happy hour! And when one dish was under-cooked they replaced it AND removed the charge from the bill. Good customer service! No, this is not traditional Italian. Its an attempt to be upscale, kinda yuppie, Italian. But the food is good. And I fed three of us for under $15. Can be difficult to find a seat in the bar area, though. Its small, and fills up during happy hour (and reverse happy hour). There is some outdoor seating you can use, though.

We absolutely love the location of this restaurant in Santan Mall. We had dinner outside on the patio and it was lovely. The food, however, is just mediocre. I really, really want to love this place but I find myself drawn back to a more authentic Italian restaurant nearby called La Calabria. Our calamari at Brio was fine, the chopped salad was fine and the salmon was fine but all of it was WAY too salty. The asparagus was seriously overcooked and nothing felt fresh to me. The service was friendly but mediocre, too. All in all it was a nice date night but I walked away feeling like we paid too much money for what we got.

Highly disappointed. Poor set-up for the buffet. Buffet was against the wall, which made the line run through the middle of tables full of guests. The buffet was cold, long line for the buffet, and lack of organization. Server was extremely nice however was not advised by management that drinks are to be brought to the tables, she initially was told guest are to help themselves. Took over half an hour to get coffee. Part of the delay was the drink station was behind the long line of guests waiting for the buffet.

Went in with high hopes. Had the lamb, which was not great but was adequate. As a side had the brussel sprouts which were almost inedible, being extremely difficult to chew. The creme brulee was very custardly and not great. The high point of the evening was our waitstaff person (Martin) who was very attentive to our needs. Overall the restaurant would rate as average or a bit less and i would be hesitant to return.

No one makes healthy food taste as good as Brio. Its a premium in terms of price, but it delivers exactly what you pay for. Delicious Italian entrées that are cooked with such taste that even kids can help but eat everything on the plate veggies and all. This is one of my favorite date night locations and I recommend it for anyone wanting to up the ante on their typical Italian food experiences.

This place is amazing! You may have a wait but it is so worth it. Randall was our waiter, he was extremely helpful and engaged. The food was great, the bruchetta was delicious, and definitely save room for dessert, have the mascarpone cheesecake. The ambience was also very delightful. To us the prices were also very reasonable. I cant say enough great things about this restaurant.

Our service was horrible, SO slow even to get water and the waitress had no idea what she was doing.. She didnt know anything about paring wine with food or even what a dirty martini was. The only thing that was good was our appetizers but when your paying $20+ for a noodles you expect it better then the frozen meals. The pasta was over cooked and almost fell apart SAVE YOUR MONEY!

We have eaten here many times and it was good..but it has been a while ...this time we Ordered the Brio surf and turf and mine and my wifes steaks were overcooked and she didnt even eat her lobster as half of it was raw... veggies where cold and potatoes where not fresh all for $30.00 per plate.... terrible...... I will not be going here or recommending this place ever again .

The food is definitely 5 stars. Excellent lunch choice with amazing flavor. Our service was on the 3-4 star side due to the fact that we were given about 20 minutes before we were asked what we would like to order. Maybe it was just a new hire because other waitresses delivered our food and filled our glasses. Still highly recommend.

Its a yuppie place. Good food but, wait staff was kinda snobby. We wanted to sit outside in the sun. They had tables in the sun but, the waiter assigned to us didnt. So we were freezing in the shade. This was not a typical Arizona day 58 out. Personally we could have eaten at Paradise Cafe had the same salad for half the price.

4/21/16 Service was great. Our server Brianna R was very helpful for my wife could not see well and could not have much salt in her meal and the server and manager Jack Riley both assisted us throught out the entire meal. We could not ask for more. Thank you BRIO for having great employees.

Excellent Italian food, with really good happy hour food choices ( a ridiculously good deal itself). Parking for any restaurant or store at San Tan always necessitates a bit of a walk, but the easily walkable layout of the mall is conducive to it. Can be a bit of a wait, but worth it.
