Monsoon has killer food with crazy fast service. Everything Ive ordered here is delicious, and fills up a huge plate. The menu is a bit difficult to navigate, but anything on there is awesome. The Yaki Udon stir fry with chicken is particularly good. Decor has some Nouveau Asian vibe, traditional and simplistic with plants and canvas pictures. I dont get it, but its cool and complements the dishes they serve well. Service is unbelievably quick. Assuming you come in a few minutes before the lunch rush, total time in the restaurant is less than 20 minutes. If you want to hang around and chat for a while, theyre cool with that as well. The line does get a bit long right after noon (of course, the place is great), but the excellent staff gets customers in with reasonable haste. Definitely somewhere to visit if you like Asian food. If youre feeling sushi instead, check out Miyako Sushi Group down the street.

Good place very tasty food, I work in the area so I usually have it weekly. It is above average quality and the place 90% of the time is very clean. 9 out of 10 days the food is 4 stars, 1 out of 10 you can tell the usual chef is out and the other guy cant really cook, How you have 1 "BAD" experience (other reviewers) with not being greeted properly or service being slow but MOST of the time the place is great makes no sense. I had 1 bad experience there when my food didnt turn out the way I wanted, the manager asked me how it was, I told him, he fixed it above and beyond and I was happy when I left. No need to 1 star review the place over one off meal out of 100. The people are great and super friendly, the food is very good, and comes out quickly. Highly recommend them.,

I went to monsoon noodle house for dinner today and i couldnt decide what to eat. I always get the same thing, i hate trying new things since im afraid that it wont taste as good. one of the owners/employees urged me to try one of the specials and told me if i didnt like it he would switch it out for me free of charge. I never send any food back no matter where I go or how bad something is. He came and checked on me to see if I liked my dinner. He could tell that i didnt and he changed it for me. It was such an pleasure to go somewhere and see how concerned they were and not all about the money. I receive great customer service and would recommend it to anyone.

The food is always amazing and normally the customer service is as well. On today 7/23/17 I visited and upon arriving I was instantly taken aback from the girl at the counter. She did not speak or welcome me to the establishment. I gave her a hearty hello and I was greeted with a small half smile. After my order was placed and I paid for my food I said thank you and she didnt respond. Thinking maybe she didnt hear me I repeated my thank you a little louder. This time she gave me a nod. Im not sure if she was having a bad day but I certainly did nothing to grant this behavior.

I ordered the Seafood noodle soup. The description explained that it contained shrimp, scallops and & crab meat. It did. It had 2 shrimp, 2 scallops, fake crab meat and 2 tough strips of calamari. I am giving it 2 stars because the noodles were great but for a $10 price tag I was sorely disappointed! It was perhaps a $5 bowl of noodle soup. The server was going to tell the manager, but he/she never appeared and so for the same price I will go down the street for a delicious grilled salmon served with a crab chowder at 2 Samuels!

I love the Singapore Mei Fun (Angel hair noodles cooked in curry sauce and with a customizable heat option) and the Udon bowl (huge bowl of thick Udon noodles in a broth of your choice with vegetables). Their prices are decent for the amount of food that you get, ranging from $3.95 for an appetizer to $8.95 for an entree. They have many dofferent drink to choose from, such as fountain coke, beer, sake, wine, hot teas, thai teas, and bubble teas. If youre a noodle person, this is the place for you!

I have to admit that the food is pretty good but I called in an order this evening . On the first attempt, I was put on hold for 5 minutes before they hung up. After a few more tries, I was able to place my order and was told it would be ready on 10 minutrs. Okay, so I show up 10 minutes later and there is a line out the door. No to go line so I have to wait another 15 minutes just to be able to place the order. Like I said, the food is pretty good but not wotmrth the trouble.

I wanted to wait until I had several meals and tried different things on the menu before writing this review. I have been going to Monsoon Noodle House for about a year now, anywhere from 2-3 times a week. The food is always excellent, the Pad Thai remains my favorite meal on the menu. I recommend getting the House Pad Thai when they have it on special. I would and have recommended this place to many individuals, so go check this place out if you can!

I went with my son to Monsoon and was enjoying my meal until 2 roaches crawled up the wall right beside me!!!! I told the manager and he said that they had just sprayed that morning. He was still going to charge me for the roach interrupted meal until I argued him down and refused to pay for it. Before the roaches....food was good but once you see them....you are completely grossed out. Wont go again.

Love this place!! Thai Coconut Soup and Pineapple Coconut Fried Rice are delicious!! Great service. Comfortable ambiance. Reasonably priced. Popular with locals. Usually busy, but not so jammed you cant get in. Parking can be "iffy" on a downtown event evening - but its Spartanburg - it isnt that bad - parking can be found and the walk is easy. Enjoy!!

Everything I have eaten is top notch and I have been here many times! Will be back many more times to come. My only complaint is that I didnt find this place sooner! Enjoy!

They make something special for me, its 2 orders of Schezuan dumplings in a large bowl of Udon noodles. The owner/manager who is always there Jam suggested making if for me a few years ago. Their Pho Vietnamese soup, Pud Thai, and pineapple fried rice are great too. Also their soup bowls are huge so be ready to eat a lot.
