We visited your Cafe on Wednesday 2/17/16 and stepped in the door a half minute or so after 3:00. We would not have even gone in but we didnt realize that you closed at 3:00 pm Mon. - Wed. The waitresses convinced us to stay and told us to order anything we wanted since the grill was not shut down yet or cleaned up for the day. My Wife got the Chicken Caesar Salad & I got the South west Chicken Grillatilla and a hot pretzel or two. Very good food.... south west chicken had very good flavor along with all the goodies in it. My wife was very satisfied with her salad meal. What was really great was the way the staff served the meal so kindly & graciously, even though they had to do extra work & stay later then they planned. The Hospitality at Sowers Harvest Cafe is way over & above what would be expected. The Food is more than exceptional, and the atmosphere is Godly, relaxed, and quiet but not that quiet that you feel you cant talk in a normal tone of voice. A Big "Thank-you" to the pleasant staff at Sowers Harvest Cafe for your superb service and quality of food served. God bless you all as you show His love to others as you serve them. I have only been there once (so far, as they just opened a few weeks ago) and I have nothing but praise for this establishment. Ordered a raspberry smoothie, French toast, and a chicken grillatilla (I also tried a bite of my friends pancakes, far better than The Waffle Shop). All of it was excellent, and the prices are very reasonable (cheaper than, say, Panera for much better food) Its family-owned, and everyone there is extraordinarily friendly, inviting and they genuinely care about their customers satisfaction. The gentleman whom I believe to be the owner came over to our table to make sure our experience was a positive one, which it certainly was. As word of mouth spreads Sowers in State College, it should become a Happy Valley favorite. Location (near Insomnia Cookies) is the only reason it isnt packed already.

Staff gets five stars, but drink was not high quality. I ordered a fruit smoothie and was expecting a health drink but what I received was more of a mall slushee, if you know what I mean. It was just like ice and really sweet fruit puree without any blended fresh fruit or wholesome qualities, more like a blended popsicle than anything else. Just wanted to put this review up because the drink was around $4.5-$5 and I felt it was not very good quality for the money. HOWEVER, their market may prefer this style drink over a typical blended fruit smoothie, so while it didnt suit me it is obviously suiting the rest of their client base just fine.

We were so happy to have found Sowers Harvest this past weekend during our stay at State College. We went there for lunch and were so please with the food, service and pleasant atmosphere that we went back for supper as well. We had delicious paninis, smoothies, soup, coffee and and a mocha. They have an outstanding, varied menu full of delicious, healthy options as well as delicious homemade pretzels and baked goods. It truly is service with a smile as everyone who work there seems to genuinely enjoy their job and do their best to make their customers happy. I would highly recommend this cafe and look forward to going back again.

My roommates and I love Sowers Harvest!! Best hidden gem in state college. Havent tried a food or smoothie there that I havent loved. Everyone that works there is so kind and generous, and they even took the time to get to know us by name or write little notes on our take out boxes! Good pricing for what you get, and the atmosphere is so welcoming and quaint. I will always be a happy customer at Sowers. We love you guys :) (p.s. I definitely recommend the chipotle chicken bacon ranch panini its to die for)

Place was packed when me and my wife came & asked a couple of young women if they were leaving soon and they asked if I needed something but I just said that I wanted a place to sit; not long after they got up and offered their seats; then I found out that they were helping here. The food is delicious whether you have the Veggie Pesto or the Veggie Supreme Omelet or a pretzel & Créme Soda for someone named Arrison

I went here for the first time and cant believe it took me so long to discover this local gem! I got the cappuccino this time and it was the best Ive had in town! I definitely plan to come back again and try their other menu items. The cafe itself is really cozy and feels very pleasant and welcoming, and the staff are very friendly. I will definitely be back again and will tell my friends about this place!

BEST food in State College by a mile! I basically come every day for a spicy chicken salad or chipotle chicken bacon ranch panini, and I am never disappointed. Everyone who works there is always so nice and brighten my day every time :) The restaurant is always clean and it is a great place to come for breakfast or lunch with friends.

A little tricky to find the fittest time as the street address is a building front and restaurant entrance is around back. Worth the work as the made to order sandwiches are extra fresh and tasty. Good selection of coffee and teas as well. Free citrus water for those who want it. Well be back.

New favorite spot in town!!! Food was delicious! I ordered chipotle chicken bacon ranch panini. It was perfect portion, the bread was perfectly toasted, plenty of chicken, and not too saucy! Loved it! My friends got omelette, which was amazingly good too, and French toast!

The food here is fantastic. The service is pretty quick. It seems like they make everything (I actually got to watch them make the large pretzels from scratch once). Bottomless coffee is also a plus. Overall, its a neat little place.

This is my favorite place in State College hands down. The menu is extensive and everything is amazing. The grillatillas in particular are so delicious. The staff is so friendly and the ambience and casual and homey.

I had ordered the make you own griltata(sp?) over order up. For starters it was delicious. It arrived so fast that the eggs were still warm, and it was super awesome. Definitly suggest if you are thinking breakfast

Great flavor to the espresso. Food is always delicious and made fresh to order. The cinnamon roll is fantastic. It can get a little uncomfortable with seating during extremely busy times due to small space.

Pesto vegetarian panini on gluten free bread was to die for! If you have a very limited diet , this place is really really delicious and not too pricey !! Definitely will come back on our next visit!

This place is amazing. Had a great experience here, the workers are friendly and the food was fantastic as well as the orange juice. I reccomend the chiptole bacon egg sandwich.
