Living in Belmont Shore means good food is not hard to come by, but The Spot has successfully added me to their list of "regulars" despite the abundance of quality competing restaurants surrounding them. FOOD: 9/10 There food has the rare combination of being both legitimately healthy and consistently delicious. Unlike many people, I enjoy most healthy meals. But their food is several steps above your standard health bar - no bland tasting dishes. If youre a health nut, The Spot is an upgrade in taste without losing the nutritional value. If youre a foodie, The Spot is an upgrade in nutritional value without losing the taste. SERVICE: 9/10 The owner is super cool, always making the extra effort and juggling multiple tasks at once. They had a few uninspired employees for a while, but all of them seem to be gone.

We ordered their 10-plate to-go service one evening, and came to pick it up the next day to find that none of the food was prepared. After waiting 20 minutes to get our food, we found that they made our order wrong, and it took another 30 minutes for them to fix that mistake, for what was supposed to be a quick pick up. The manager blamed it on one of his employees when really it should have been his responsibility to explain the service to his employees. He was not very helpful or accommodating to us and never took the blame for his restaurants mistakes.

I was excited to try this place but I came out very disappointed they advertised "organic" fruits and vegetables and its far from organic or fresh. I ordered a juice and I noticed the employee made his way to the kitchen to pour something in my juice and came back with my juice seemed very sketchy to me.

Everything here is amazing. I take all of my out of town friends if I want to show them a real Southern California Cafe. They make the Juice and ACAI Bowls to order and have no problem making substitutions. Parking is tricky but that is just the way it is on 2nd street.

Lots of vegan options. I had the hummus bowl. It was small but filling. I like that I could choose from bowls, wraps and salads. My husband, not vegan, had the club panini. He said it was okay, but that he was willing go back sometime soon and try something else.

I got their Spot Cafe and its surprisingly good. Its very refreshing. If youre tired of Starbucks, try this place out. Youll never get disappointed! (Tip: if youre parked under the building, bring your parking ticket and they will validate it for you.)

Hands down one of my favorite locations in Long Beach. We had four pizzas and they were all amazing. The smoothies and juices were all amazing! I highly recommend it to everyone looking for a super tasty, healthy meal in the Long Beach area.
