One of my favorite Long Beach Restaurants. They use fresh ingredients with each meal and I love that their menu is always evolving. You can come for a latte (white chocolate Mocha is to die for!) or stay over for dinner. Favorite menu items have got to be their Smoked Salmon Flatbread $14.50, Arugula Burger $12, Summer Avocado Shrimp Salad $14, and for brunch their eggs Benedict with a divine hollandaise sauce. They have a limited cocktail menu, beer selection, and various coffee drinks that are created with the freshest coffee beans. I think they do a fantastic job of balancing healthy with delicious! If youre in the area, make sure to stop on by.

We were driving down the street looking for a nice looking place for a quick lunch. This place caught our eye and we were not disappointed. Everything about this place appealed to me. I had the chicken avocado sandwich with a fruit cup. I must admit I thought the fruit cup was a tad bit small, but the sandwich was delicious. This place is not just a coffee shop. It is connected to a record store and a book store. I wish I had some more time to shmooze around but we only had the few minutes while our food was being prepared. This place is a must!! You will not be disappointed!! Bonus: pet friendly!

We love coming to Berlin Bistro! The staff is always friendly and never short when you cant decide what to get. They have a simple menu with a variety of different choices that even includes vegan/vegetarian options that are marked on the menu. They have both outdoor patio (dog-friendly) and indoor seating with individual and communal tables. I recommend trying their Avocado or Hummus toast with either a hot tea or french press coffee. Berlin Bistro is also connected to a library/record store!

Simply magnificent!! The food is delicious and well prepared, the atmosphere is beautiful and the employees are a delight. Their weekend brunch is to die for! Vegetarian, Vegan and meatlovers options abound with a bottomless mimosa brunch special that is awesome: anything on the menu plus bottomless mimosas for only $20! A steal. And always quality! This is also attached to an awesome music store with a plethora of goodies for anyone and everyone. You wont be disappointed here.

Really chill neighborhood cafe. The drinks are always good, but the food can be hit or miss. Some items like the shrimp quesadilla are tasty and fresh, but other more conventional breakfast/brunch fare are quite underwhelming, in comparison to many other breakfast places in Long Beach. Service here is always good, and the waiters and waitresses are nice and attentive. The only complain I would have is the fly situation, especially in the summer time.

My friends took me here for breakfast when I was visiting. I got the Tofu scramble and they gladly adjusted it to my preference of "no mushrooms." The food was tasty, a bit pricey, but it was a good amount of food for what you payed. I loved the tea though, especially since I got my own full kettle! The only reason Im taking off a star is because service was a little slow and we were on a schedule. Other than that, they were friendly!

The service was awesome. The food was good Good prices I got the most wonderful waitress! I had ordered a hot chocolate for my son and she made sure to bring it to him at a good temperature so he dont get burned. She went out of her way to make sure me and my kids and friend had a great experience here! I wish I could have remember her name but I hope she see my review thank you!

The food is good, its fairly inexpensive. My only complaint is the staff, they never sem to be doing a good enough job, either not checking up on you or delivering drinks when the food is almost finished. For such a small resturant in the location that it is I would expect better service when eating in, unfortunately due to my negative experience with the staff I always order out.

If you arrive on a Sunday after 10 am, you will wait some. The wait is well worth it. I choose to sit outside to enjoy the view and weather. The place is also very dog friendly, which is very cool with me. The food was very good and I will go back to try other things I noticed as well on the menu. The staff was very helpful, from the person seating you to the waitress.

Great interior design + great quality coffee and snacks= awesome coffee shop and lunch spot. Has outdoor seating area in a parklet, and nice big windows for great light inside especially at the big shared table. Great place to work on a laptop for a while, or read a book. Wifi time is (rightly, I think) limited. Also a good place to get brunch.

I have been here several times now. It was always very friendly service, a nice, chill atmosphere. The menu is not overly extensive, but should offer something for everyone, including vegans and vegetarians. Its also not an issue to drop ingredients from non-veg meals or to add them to another dish. Would I come again? Im already doing it :)

Very nice quaint local spot for coffee reading and people watching. Has an outside dining area which is great for weekend brunch. Parking can be a tad limited during certain hours. Coffee is good dessert is even better. Brunch menu is simple and a tad over priced but that may be my 99 cent store mentality. Otherwise great place to visit

I had the salmon flatbread. Im not usually big on that kind of thing but it was really good. They have a lot of healthy options and the coffee is not bad. Overall, I love the people who work there and its very atmospheric. Really nice place! Highly recommend you come and eat dinner here and try their drinks too. (:

Love it. Every time I am in the area I have to stop in and check out their vegan pastry options. If you ever get a chance to have one of the butternut squash & rosemary muffins, do not pass it up! As for coffee I typically get the mexican mocha with soy - its delicious and gets me through until lunch time.

Best place to get healthy yummy food, thank Berlin Bistro! It is a neat setting, comfy and cozy together and or have meetings. Easy to get to and plenty of parking! And has many options drink and food. Coffee, snacks, whine, great salads and my favorite is the ahi tuna salad & salmon on flat bread!

Always call in here for breakfast when I am in LA. Good value, good food and good atmosphere. If I swing by a little later I also get to enjoy the bookshop round back and the great record/cd emporium also attached. Its also the coffee stop of choice for the local cops which always a good sign.

I love coming to Berlin. It is walking distance from my house. I like to come in the morning with my dog and get a coffee or chill and do some work/ or get some writing done. Great food. Great coffee. Great service. Great atmosphere. Not sure what more you could ask for. Theyre awesome!

Love the outdoor experience here. Love its next to fingerprints to go record browsing after I get a bite to eat. Sandwiches are pretty dang good. The only slight complaint would be some of the servers and staff can be really unfriendly or "too busy" so go in with a lil patience.
