As another reviewer has said, the gyro is a taco salad with a lot of lettuce. The gyro was subpar compared to Oakland Gyros, or Apollo Cafe. I asked for tzatziki sauce on the gyro(which is served at oakland gyros and apollo) and the employees had never heard of tzatziki sauce, and insisted on this "White Sauce". I had no idea what the ingredients in the white sauce were and neither did the employees. "Its just white sauce". I assumed it was tzatziki and its actually mayonnaise. The meat in the gyro was pulled out of vat of grease and looked like the meat was emulsified in it. Ive heard good things about their platters, but I would not come here again for a gyro.

Disclaimer: this was my first experience with Halal food, and I dined during their grand opening day. A very limited menu selection. Dont let that fact discourage or dissuade you from going. The food was delicious. Fresh. Well cooked. Tasty. The food is prepared in advance and served from warming trays like at Chipotle. This food is far better, and more flavorful. A good but subtle spiciness. The staff was well trained and knew exactly what, when and how to do their jobs. They were also friendly, cheerful and inviting. Ill stop in the next time Im visiting the Northeast side. The food is good but Im not driving 40 minutes across counties just to get it.

Meh. Not that impressive. Falafel wasnt very good, and tasted like it was fried in dirty oil. Not enough sauce either. Hummus was decent, but they only give you one pita, so youre left with 1/3rd a tub of hummus you paid for in the garbage. Chicken looked like it was boiled or some other unappetizing method of cooking. Not a fan of Gyros, so IDK if theyre any good, but Id be skeptical based on the quality of what we did have. Theres much better options in town for this kind of food - a couple places in walking distance, and a couple more a very short drive across the river. Probably wont be back.

Very disappointing. Meat was flavorless, white sauce was bland, pita was cold, toppings were few and unimpressive. And lets talk about the rice, if you can call it that. It looked more like shredded carrots with its bright orange color without any taste. Nothing Arab about this place except the name. And if I were them, I would hang my head in shame and change the name to The Flavorless Guys or White bread Nation. Buy some seasonings, make some garlic sauce and bigger menu selection. Take some cooking lessons from a real Arab and be authentic, not fake.

Ordered for dinner around 8 this evening. After waiting for an hour, we called only to find out that our order was "lost". After a half hearted apology, the manager assured us that our food would be out soon. 2 hours and 45 minutes later.... the delivery comes through at 10:45 pm. The order is not only wrong and cold, but the bag comes with our "apology" coupons which entail two 20% off dine in chicken plates. Why on earth would we ever come back? Ridiculous service, bad food, my advise is to go to the hundred of other restaurants in Milwaukee

Very disappointed. My fiance and I came here for the first time after being hesitant to come and it seems as though our reluctance was for a good reason. Their "platter" Im an pile of lettuce and bad rice with some meat mixed in. The gyro meat was a blend. Spices were subtle. Only thing good was the hot sauce. Very expensive as well for being "fast food". Will not come back and would not recommend to a friend PS: Do NOT trust the good reviews. They are very obviously fake. Read some articles about paying for Google reviews

Without a doubt the worst gyro pita sandwich I ever had and I have had a quite a few around the world. The giro meat was minced, the bread was so overstuffed with lettuce, tomatos, onions, and drenched with watery white sauce. Watching her make it, I knew it was going to be a disaster and impossible to eat. Upon unwrapping the sandwich, 2 minutes after being made, the pita fell apart and everything was a big blob of a mess. I took it back to the counter and left it and walked out. Really GUYS?

Very unimpressed with what I got from here. The chicken and "gyro" platter was some greasy bits of gyro meat and flavorless gray chicken bits over bland rice next to some chopped lettuce and tomatoes. The falafel was also rather bland and the tahini sauce served with it was bitter and inedible. I also felt sick after eating and suffered gastrointestinal distress for the next 24 hours.

Very disappointing. The gyro meat was bland, as was the white sauce. The rice was okay and overall the food just simply needs more seasoning. I arrived at about 11:25 and the woman working hadnt unlocked the door. The hours sign clearly indicates that they open at 11:00 am. Staff needs to warn people who ask for a sample of the red sauce. For me, it was painfully hot.

I ordered the chicken combo platter which was decent. Cost $9.22. When I asked for a glass for water, they refused and said they only offered bottled water. I went next door to their competitor (Jimmy Johns) and they gave me a glass for water no questions asked. Halal guys should remember the food titans theyre competing against and adjust accordingly.

So good! Got the combo platter. Cant say which I liked best because they were all so good. Other reviews mentioned the falafel and gryo (which were both excellent), but Im surprised that no one mentioned the chicken. Loved the flavor. The white sauce was good, but you certainly didnt need it. First Halal Guys order. Will order again soon.

I tried this place out for the first time. I got the platter with chicken and falafel. The falafel is really good, especially with the white sauce. The hot sauce is also pretty good, but be careful, its really HOT! The platter is a lot of food, and I was very full and happy afterwards. Looking forward to eating here again.

I have ordered from here a number of times and enjoyed it but the last few times I have ordered (delivery) they always forget the sauce. Three strikes and youre out. Not ordering again. The food is decent but nothing special without the sauce. If they cant remember to include sauce then theres no reason to order.

The hot sauce! Its all about that mind numbingly delicious hot sauce for me. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Actually, I think Im just going to go there for dinner tonight :) The food they put the hot sauce on is really delicious too, by the way, but that hot sauce... :D

Distinguished, tasty and amongst my favorite east side restaurants. The hot sauce is super spicy, and super tasty. And the falafels are amazing! The gyro is tasty but definitely not what you expect since its chopped not sliced,. Absolutely recommend the combo

Went there on a somewhat busy time on Friday. Food was super yummy! I got the chicken platter with a touch of spicy sauce where the sauce was very spicy by itself bit with the food it was perfect! Also got falafel and baklava. Better than shawarma (;

A good friend told me about this place about a month ago. I have been there probably 10 times in the last 4-5 weeks. Their chicken is on point, their platters are loaded and filling. One of the best spots for casual dining in Milwaukee.
