This Has Become Our Go-To Restaurant I have a very restricted diet: no grains allowed (including wheat, rice, potato, quinoa) and Im a vegetarian on top of it. In short, feeding me is a nightmare. Pita Jungle is one of the few restaurants Ive found that is up to the challenge. They use fresh, natural ingredients and have a good variety of plant-based food options. That satisfies requirement #1 (menu offerings) for me, but if the menu offerings dont taste good there is no point, right? Again, Pita Jungle doesnt disappoint. I have loved all the flavors with every visit, so much so that my husband and I ordered way too much food last night and took a lot home with us to enjoy for another meal. Fresh and tasty always. Requirement #2: taste? Check! How about the service? The servers are young, hip, and energetic, and I like how they are allowed to wear their own clothes, rather than having to wear a uniform. Just a little thing, but somehow it feels like a more personal atmosphere and the staff seems happy, friendly, and comfortable in their environment. I have never had to wait an inordinate amount of time for my food and the servers are always friendly and knowledgeable. Last nights server even offered to send me home with a to-go cup with a drink refill. So sweet and thoughtful! Gotta love this place!

Now, Im not one to complain about to many places but this place was horrible. Not the food, the food was pretty good. But the place was so LOUD you couldnt even think. The building just wasnt really built to help muffle noise and they arent helping by putting tin ceiling and wood floors in there either. Theres just nothing inside the place to keep the noise from bouncing off of each. Like carpet or padding or something. (It also wasnt that packed so it wasnt just that it was busy) I had to put my hands over my ears the whole time while talking to my friends just to keep my exploding head ache under control. It was pure craziness. And the waitress we had wasnt very friendly, she seemed to be bugged by us. Of course, I maybe blame the attitude on the noise level, I mean if I had to work in an environment where I cant think I would be grumpy too. But Ill never go back to that place Ill try the one on Shea next time.

Rude staff, everyone was very shizzle faced and our server sucked! Food was barely up to par I told our arriving party not to even bother coming, so embarrassed to have to spare them the sucked experience (btw we drove an hour and half to go to this one which is closer, never agin). If this was my first time to a pita jungle I would never try it agin! Save yourself the worst dining experience and go to the one on mill, that one is by far the best pita jungle Ive been to. This location should be re staffed or at least re trained and not to mention all together revamped. To the manager, no need for apology it wont change the experience.Go dine at the mill location and experience the difference for yourself.

I used to LOVE pita jungle at arrowhead. Im not sure what happened, but the quality has really gone downhill. I get the Mediterranean chicken salad. The last three times Ive ordered it, its not made right. They leave out at least 2 to 3 key ingrediants. This last time i ordered it, i specifically said i want to make sure you have all the ingredients, and they assured me it would be correct. Of course, it was not. I barely got any lettuce, not all the ingrediants were there, and i asked for extra feta which wasnt there. Even the quality of hummus has disappeared. People are gettind paid more for less quality and its disgusting.

One of my favorite places in the Phoenix area! Ive never had a bad meal here, the prices are very reasonable and the service is always great at all of the locations. Some of my favorite dishes are: Hummus (get the trio so you can try all three!) Hummus with grilled chicken Broiled chicken salad Quinoa and cilantro jalapeno salad (on the specials) Chicken shawarma pita Philly steak/chicken pita Chipotle chicken lavosh pizza They also have a great happy hour Monday thru Friday from 3-6pm. I would highly recommend this place for lunch, dinner, happy hour...whatever suits you!

I have been here several times, have brought several family and friends here. I absolutely love the hummus, (best in town hands down). Today I was extremely disappointed. My husband and I were not acknowledged after 14min of being seated, it was not busy (5pm Sunday). No drink orders taken, no I will be with you in moment. NOTHING! 3 servers were attending to a party of 10-12 who were seated across from us but you cant forget about the other guest. We grew tired of waiting, walked out and I dont think anyone noticed. Wont be back ☹

Met my wife for lunch here one workday. Im a fan of Pita Jungle so I figured it was a safe bet. it was pretty busy but we got right i. My favorite thing at PJ is the hummus but for some reason the hummus at this location was disgusting. I couldnt even eat it. I let the waitress know and she removed it from our bill. All and all probably not the ideal place for lunch during the week but its pretty standard PJ as long as you stay away from the hummus!

My server, Eddie, was very friendly, came down to eye level with me as I ordered, and checked on me a few times to make sure I was satisfied and to see if I needed anything else. He asked if I would like my lemonade to go, and gave me a large cup full of the delicious lemonade. The menu has a wide variety of foods with vegetarian options. Very healthy and delicious items!! There is a brick oven that they cook in. And they have a new avocado

Food was good, but service was VERY slow (we ordered an additional bowl of ice cream for a 3rd party that arrived late and it took almost a half hour to get (I asked the waiter if they had to send out for it)). To be fair, the place was quite crowded. As others have pointed out, there was enough to take home. Its a bit pricey (2 salads, a piece of cake and 2 bowls of ice cream came to over $40 (BEFORE tip!).

My husband and I go to Pita Jungle once every week or two weeks. First of all, the food is excellent--weve had about half of the entrees, and weve loved all but one or two. The food is healthy, unique, and cheap. We also love reverse happy hour--we often make a dinner out of the $1 tapas. The atmosphere is fine, although occasionally a little noisy. Our service is generally good as well.

The food at PJ is always delicious. The prices are reasonable. and the portion are huge. Quiteboften I get the Mediterranean Combo Platter and en up taking half home. My only complaint about this location is if you sit facing the parking lot at lunch time you cant see who you are dining with because the glare off of car windows is blinding. However, you cant order a bad meal at PJ.

The food here is very good, I dont think Ive ever received an item I didnt like. Their hummus is delicious, as is their red pepper hummus, they have very refreshing salads, pitas, and wraps. Their lavosh wraps are HUGE though, so make sure you take someone with you to share with! It does tend to get loud when its busy, but most restaurants do so I dont really fault them for that.
