Love it!!! Best place for coffee in town!!! The wait sucks but, its totally worth it. For a cold drink I recommend the Rice and Beans frappe with caramel around the cup and on the whipped cream with one of the danishes they have or a cheese delight. Hot drink definitely a Cubano con leche if you are a coffee lover and are not caffeine sensitive since its pretty much espresso shots with steamed half and half and raw sugar and any kind of muffin; warmed up. If you are on the caffeine sensitive side, but like coffee then a mocha mexicano and a warmed up muffin. If you dont coffee and want to try their drinks still have a strawberry mango fresca or a horchata creme frappe. Enjoy!.....service is always great there.

I loveeee Tierra Mia. Fore warning it is ALWAYS packed! It is definitely the worth the wait though.Honestly the best time is before work aka right when they open at 6am. It has a different taste but its so good, way better than Starbucks. The staff is always nice. The only thing though is they do take a little long with the drinks sometimes but I wont take off a star because I know they are always super busy and they can only go so fast. The best drink there and my favorite is the Horchata Latte, its so good iced. The rice and beans frappe is super good too and the chocolate Mexicano. Their pastries are DELICIOUS. Its definitely a must try!

NO STARS!! Sad to say a great hispanic and authentic coffee shop is thriving and now have one in lynwood a little less of a drive. Yet, this shop has tarnished that great name for me. I have promoted TMC like crazy since August 2008. But i also have Coffee Bean closer and i dont have to make time to wait 20min + at drive thru and they treat a customer better. TMC has great delicious authentic coffee i want and crave, but will be visiting alot less and only original south gate shop. Very disapointed and i hope Ulyses Romero can read this and adjust this branch for better Customer service.

Its just ok. Nothing exceptional with service or drinks. I think people may be hyping it up to much cause it is different than Starbucks and, because of its location, because it has a certain latin culture to it. I dont get it. People just seen to go there cause its not Starbucks and thats a wrong attitude. I dont really like Starbucks and would have enjoyed something different that was awesome and this just didnt live up to what others were saying. Its just ok.

Some drinks are of good quality but customer service is lacking. On this visit Walked in as several "baristas" were lounging around talking amongst each other with no one attending the front counter. I was seen several times but nobody made any effort until minutes after i arrived. There was no excuse for this as it was not busy at the time. Horrible customer service mangement please be advised.

Was really looking forward to enjoying my horchata frapp and my tres leches muffin. The frapp was delicious but a few bites into my muffin I found a black short hair in it and had to throw it away! There goes $3 to the trash for a muffin that tastes like the 60 cent muffins that are sold in Mexican markets. I waited about 20 in the drive through line just to get disgusted!

people who have written negative reviews suck hard. we all come to Tierra Mia Coffee for their rich coffee. that is it. my family and i have enjoyed our beverages every time including my oldest aunt. this place rocks!!! keep up the good work people. i look forward every time coming to Tierra Mia Coffee when i am ready to indulge in amazing coffee. Delicious drinks and muffins are amazingly good. Horchata Frappuccino is the best drink there is IMO. However since this place is popular, theres usually a line for the drive thru, and I mean like 20-50 minutes but its worth it. Not sure how it is inside the place, its always full in the evening.

Best customer service ever! Totally made my morning. I was just coming off from work (rough night!!) and needed a little pick me up. The staff here were very nice, courteous, and cheerful. That was refreshing. Thank you!!! Will definitely be coming back.

This place never dissapoints the Horchata Frappe is delicious. The other day I was in a mood for something different and I had the Strawberry Mojito Lemonade and it was amazingly delicious. Ths staff is always curteous. I love coming here.

I now understand why this place is always packed... their are times when the line inside is out the door and the drive-thur line is around the block.. literately! I recommend the Cuban coffee or Mexicano with the tres leches muffin.

Its good and I understand people love it but damn does it get crowded at this particular location. Crazy lines out to traffic and down the street! Aside from how crazy full it gets, its a nice place for tasty coffees.

They do have different flavor not normally found at other places buy it masked with sugar. Too sweet for my taste. It seems great until you realize that its only the sugar you are enjoying.

I usually go for the pour overs so walk in is my option. The place is ok to sit and have a coffee. I usually go in and order it to go, its faster than drive thru Fri- Sun evenings.
