This is my favorite Mexican place in all of Seattle. what sets this place apart is that they do the basics really well and the quality is evident. You can even taste it in their quesidillas. Ive been going here for over five years and dont regret it one bit. That being said its clearly not a five star restaurant but its simply good food thats not complicated. I especially love the red and green mole sauces.

I am always on the search for the best tamale in Seattle. Michoacan has the best one Ive found so far. Dont let the hole-in-the-wall outside appearance fool you: this place is top-notch. The staff are friendly to a fault. The food is amazing. Excellent margaritas as well. I go here when I can. It is my favorite restaurant to date.

The Chili Rellenos are straight from Mama at the Michoacan. This is a great spot for a hearty mex meal in Crown Hill, The nightly specials are wonderful and the beers on tap or a Margarita make the visit
