The room is very low key and simple. Nice wall art and a relaxing environment. We went for the lunch buffet. My girlfriend is Indian and wanted to try it since Torch of India closed. The buffet is very reasonable pricewise at 10.99. Food is hit and miss. Good naan, and a nice take on Daal soup (thin with the spices muted but tasty). Palak Paneer was good and nothing was cold (we got there early). Curry was thin/watery which is a big no-no and our onion "pakora" was not pakora, but literally just onion rings. Sauce bar had the standard raita/cilantro/tamarind and...ranch. Ranch should never appear in an Indian restaurant. Dessert was the best part of the meal...delicious gulab jamun, warm carrot pudding and a "fruit custard" (lassi with pieces of fruit in there). We eat at a lot of Indian places and this was middle of the pack. Staff was very nice and it wad great to have a water caraf instead of having to wait for a water refill. Worth a try and see if its for you!

Yo, me and my friend Gryphon Myers were Ganeshas first ever customers. You see we were big fans of Anna Purna which was the restaurant before Ganesha, so wed been driving past hoping to see when this place would be open. What I like that Anna Purna didnt have is that you can set your spiciness level of your food, every meal comes with rice, and its been consistently cheaper. Im a big fan of Purna but when it came down to it things were so spensive I was scared to try anything new. Not the case anymore, Im trying everything! ULTIMATE SPICY!! Also props on the Vegan entrées. Delicious and forward thinking!

My new go to after the Indian restaurant on 4th st closed (had the best lunch buffet ever, I miss it) I like how its easy for my bf and I to order dinner to go. They have a dinner for two option that includes apps, 2 entrees, rice, naan, and a shared desert. Have tried several of the entrees, not impressed by all of them but that could just be personal taste. I really like the veggie Korma though. Never sat down in the restaurant.

Im fan of the lunch buffet. They say breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dine like pauper. well, you certainly can lunch like a prince or princess, at this welcoming establishment. I am interested in returning some evening with my husband, to sample their dinner menu. The buffet always seems to include chiken tikka masala, whic is my favorite. I am becoming a regular. I recommend this restaurant.

This has become my favorite Indian resturant in Santa Rosa. I have eaten here about 10 times now. The food is always consistent and every dish I have had has been amazing! I have also ordered pick up about 5 times and the food is always ready and hot when I pick it up. Excellent service every time. Highly recomend it to all who like Indian food!!!

the staff here is impeccable, but a URINE/PineSol smell here prevented anyone from going to this restaurant...recommend pressure washer with Bleach to sanitize...terrible the way the food is terrific, but the smell of the place prevents anyone from eating there...real shame~

We went there on Thursday they let us have my dog on the patio! It was the best darn Indian food in Sonoma county! Service was awesome and we were there just in time for the lunch buffet. Rice and hot sauce are on point!

Ive had take out and the lunch buffet at Kafal and everything Ive had has been fantastic! Coming from someone who lived in India for 5 months, I highly recommend Kafal if you like real Indian food.
