Ive been here a few times now because its close to my work. As the writer before me said, when I ordered a veggie burrito, the cheese was not really melted, so far every time Ive gone in there. My biggest complaint is the price varies when I go in there. I always get a veggie burrito. The cashier (54" petite with bangs) charges me the correct price $4.50 or over charges me. The 2nd time I went there she handed me two cups to fill with salsa, and charged me $0.50 for an additional cup. A different woman on another occasion did NOT charge me extra for cups and was a lot more polite too. I went in again today and the woman with the bangs only gave me one cup for salsa telling me I had to pay for an extra one. I told her, "you gave me two last time". She handed me another one hesitantly. The cups are very small and the burritos are very big sooooo two cups make more sense, especially when you provide multiple types of hot salsa (which is a plus!). An observation I made was the woman before me, who was Hispanic (no judgement or bias here) was given two cups for salsa without being charged. Im writing this review because of the principle and the cashiers (lady with bangs) attitude stinks. If youre going to charge extra for little petty things, please advertise it and make sure your burritos arent cold on the inside.

I go here often because I live nearby and I can honestly say its just ok.. The order taking process can always be a little frustrating..we have a hard time getting them to not put sour cream on our plate or meal when we ask for none. And I find it strange that the cheese on veggie burritos is always served cold rather than melted. I dislike that they use yellow and white shredded cheese on everything, including quesadillas, rather than a more authentic cheese like..queso fresco or at least just using Monterey jack.. Mexican foods should have white cheese not yellow... The other thing that disappoints us is that their burritos are cut in half (at an angle) making it more difficult to eat and messy. This place is OK when Im feeling lazy and dont want to go a little further to the other Mexican restaurant options...but Ive had better. And it kind of leaves me disappointed all the time. Perhaps Id have a different experience if I just ordered what they have with no specifications.. but my partner agrees its just OK but he doesnt care for it. He comes from an authentic Mexican family so he can be picky... Ive also experienced the owner in the many times Ive been here..once he was really nice, and the last time i saw him he was really rude.

Well the food is very authentic and made fresh but there were one too many Nats near the salsa bar for me. And because I plugged my phone in when I sat down to eat as soon as I took my last bite and used the restroom I sat down to ask my kids if they were ready to go we were asked to leave because I plugged in my phone! Will never go back again. I spent $20 and that was my 2nd visit. The owner is rude and doesnt deserve the business. I rather take my money and service where its valued! The girl who works the counter is an angel and gave me a car charger. Bless her heart. I feel bad she has to work for such ignorant people. Who asks a paying customer to leave because they plug a phone in! Its not like I bought a soda and tried to charge it for an hr. I plugged it in while I ate! I bought 2 meals and sides! Absolutely disgusted w the fact the owner made her ask me to leave instead of doing it themselves.

AWFUL customer service. Placed an order to go, once we took the bag home we realized we were given someone elses order. We live 30 minutes away and were unable to drive back. I called the restaurant and talked to the girl and she said shed leave a note so I could have a refund. I spent a lot of money for my order and only received two enchiladas and a breakfast burrito. When i went in for my refund it was the same girl and she remembered me. She had to go back and talk to the owner about my refund and the owner glared at me from the kitchen, looking me up and down and giving me a dirty look like I was a criminal. She refused to give me a full refund because I didnt bring the food back....WE LIVE 30 MINUTES AWAY! After this incident I will NEVER be going back here. There are other places just as good who value their customers.

This place is straight up nasty. I ordered a burrito Pastor and let me tell youuuuu it was the worst thing Ive ever tasted. The beans tasted like what wet dog food smells like, the meat was sour sweet. Like what the hell do you even do to your meat to have that taste. It was like one of those burritos that you buy in single packets that are like a 1.99 heated up, wrapped in yellow paper and aluminum foil and served. Bad choice, go to Taco Bell for better Mexican food. I didnt even eat half of it. I a took 2 bites and wrapped it back up and went to ottos for a fire hotdog . That beer suasage is fire. But back to the point, DONT DO IT. Go to Taco Bell for better food trust me. Your tummy will thank me

When I want to be tempted by variety upon variety, I go to the food carts; when I want Mexican Food, I go to Amigos del Sol. The Pastor tacos are stupendous, and I swear their refritos have magic in them. Plenty of scratch made salsa varieties, and these are not simply clones with different varieties of peppers; instead each one is a unique recipe, which accentuates the peculiarities of the ingredient perfectly. The Pollo Asado was cooked beautifully, and seeing my daughter with a grease-hemmed smile while she had hole-in-the-wall Mexican food made me happy.

What authentic Mexican. I have not found this kind of food on the west side (btown, Hillsboro). Most Mexican places around Beaverton are you call that spicey?. This place is great. Nice people and the Barbacoa was so good I did not realize I was eating my lip. The Habanero salsa kind of aenesthesized that. Served with Mole, whohoo! Loved that. Theres no server, just walk up to the bar (sans cerveza) and order/pay. The owners were great and the Univision was showing Mexico vs Costa Rica, What could be better? Bring a beer.

Horrible. Wretched. Unbelievably annoying. Ive never even been to this restaurant, and for the last couple months I get a telemarket/automated text at EIGHT AM sharp about once a week from Amigos. I have a night schedule - 8am is an ungodly hour for me; yet somehow Ive gotten on their spam list and cant get off. Ill never go here out of pure, unbridled spite. TERRIBLE business practices. They shouldnt even have my phone number. I hate them with a roiling passion that I simply cannot express enough.

Service was friendly and quick. Salsa bar was almost empty, but thats to be expected as I arrived late, not long before closing (I got what I needed, though). Beans and rice were... well, beans and rice... good, but nothing special. Pastor tacos were amazing. Tortillas were perfect. The pork had a perfect char on it, but was still tender and juicy (remember, almost closing time). Paired with a Negra Modelo and a genuine smile, this was a really good meal. Will certainly go again.
