Ok came here for the first time this past Saturday 11/5/16 Ok first things there was a young guy who was stung as a skunk right in the walk way of the store and , he kept coming in the store smh unacceptable , now there food First off there food is too expensive Y because they have these very small whole wings tiny as Heck lol Their sides come in a small lil container . I mean you might get two teaspoons full per serving . Then to top if off they are serving Yams from the can omg seriously ?????? Thats the worst if I would have saw it I would have never paid my money I would have walked right out I mean you Black serving yams from the can nooooooooo I couldnt believe it . And Im not convinced that the mac and cheese was home made either it was at best ok , I gave a two stars only because the young lady who served us was very delightful Other wise i would have gave it a 1 star My husband was with me and actually had me right this review but needless to say we will not be returning . I seriously think they would benefit in getting a new chef.

I love and hate this place. The food is excellent however the parking is a joke. The portion on sides are feast or famine. The wait is too long but the people are friendly. I love to go back but not sure if I will. One day I went and the greens werent ready. Just problem after problem. But the food is excellent.

Love the fried catfish, greens, baked beans and fries. So delicious! Seriously the best fried catfish I have had since leaving home. This is a great place for southern home-cooking! Even if this is out of your way, it is definitely worth the drive. Call ahead for quick and easy pick up. You will love it!

They have great customer service and very good food from, different types of fried fish to chicken gizzards and gyros. The food is cooked fresh on the spot. A very good neighborhood restaurant to order from.. not an eat in diner.

Yes I I am not from here and have driven by many times The chicken fries green collar greens are the best and the seasoning which is called the powder is out of sight it sets the flavor off really enhances it

Great fish recommend the tilapia (cornmeal breaded with special semi salty seasonings I love it!), sweet potatoes (think candied yams!) and cabbage (cabbage is spicy and yummy!). Yum yum yum.
