Produce an everything in store is great, needs more cashiers with better attitudes. I go to self check out if I go here bc cashiers dont know prices, dont say hello or smile an are super SLOW have had this experience at this location many times with several different cashiers, Im very polite saying," Hello, an no response, cant answer questions, items have been mismarked or on shelves in wrong area with the whole stock of dog food even an refuse to make it right or give it at price that its marked at. I could understand if my item was the only item marked with different price as Ive worked in retailing an customer service as well in past but when they all are on shelf I have a problem with that an waiting time it takes in line to finally get someone to check to then be charged way more after even showing managers there shelf of same product, brand, size ect. To just say sorry but this is the right price an they had been all mismarked. Cashiers also dont know about coupons when using multiple on same item but different manufacturer, mperks ect. Meijers on westshore an in South Haven are great!

Photo Lab - Highly Satisfied- I made my own invitations for my daughters birthday party and sent them to print (threw the meijer app) just as I would with any other photos. Whoever the person working at the time (01/10/2017) the ready time was 10am but we didnt pick them up till later in the day. Whoever was working noticed that they werent just photos and that they were invitations so he or she took that extra step and included envelopes for all the invites! I dont know who was working (my husband picked them up) but that is very much appreciated! The part that makes it even better is the fact that the employee was actually thinking about the customer and what he/she could do to make the customer feel valued! Your courtesy definitely did not go unnoticed! Thank you! (I was thinking about how I was going to find envelopes that fit perfectly too, so they took care of that for me!)

Most of the time very good experience, but at times not so good, IHA a debit card from a bank & 1 from a credit union, both of them habeen rejected I finally got one to work, it had to be debit and no money could be taken out. Ive also had a big problem with wrong amount put in there computers, for a long time then it became over $30.00 in 2 months so then I went ever time. I also do not like the way the put the candy out . The price will be 3 for $6.00, so I pick up 3 and I find out I have 1 wrong one. Why cant they put them all together and put the kind of candy it is, some do some dont. The handicap bathroom has no handle to pull the door out, so you have to reach the to the top , Im sure there are people who can note use it. Usually the checkout is reasonably fast. But yesterday I was behind two gentlemen (one about 50 the other about 35) buying beer and liquor. The check out clerk asked for ID. The younger man ran to his car to get his and the older man fumbled around to find his foreign passport. The clerk wont accept a "non-US" issued ID. The young man returned with his drivers license, it was not good either; it was issued by a foreign country. So was his Czech passport. At that point I tried to present my MI issued license. The clerk had to ask for his supervisor. 30 minutes later, it was OK. It left me and the 3 other customers behind me frustrated. Is it the MI law or is that Meijers policy? Where is common sense?

The manager was a jerk. My truck broke down in the pharmacy drive thru (wouldnt start) instead of making sure I had someone coming to help he called someone to have four guys come out to push me out of the way and told me I was in the way of his business. ( Like I wanted to be I was already embarrassed ) then him and his four guys decided to make fun of me while pushing my car. Thanks assholes never will I shop in your store again. None of you acted professional nor that you cared. I had three kids in my car with no way to start it to keep them cool. I will be contacting your corporate office!!!

We went on a Friday evening looking for a specific cut of beef but th butcher had already closed. Ok, well come back tomorrow. On the way out through the produce department we noticed how dirty the floor was. Black, sticky, and just gross. We went back Saturday morning and the same dirty spots were still there with more added. The lines are long and the staff is rude and uneducated regarding thier departments.

The selection and prices are fine but the checkout process is UNACCEPTABLY SLOW!!! Ive visited this location several times and the only thing slower than the self checkout lanes are the the ones with cashiers!! I cannot spend 15-30 minutes of each trip to PAY FOR MY GOODS!! I hope Meijer heeds this warning.

Usually a good experience but more often than not the veggies are of the worst quality I have found luckily the farmers market is back and I dont have to settle. As with most places there are never enough check out lanes open. Last night I was in line for 30 minutes and only two lanes were open.

Good prices but since they took out the larger self check out lanes it has taken me anywhere from ten to twenty five minutes to check out with a cashier as they usually have only 5 lanes open, which makes getting in and out quickly with a larger purchase impossible. Disappointed in this change

Close to home I can walk to it friendly people know some of The workers there to and theyre willing to come out and help you if you have problem handicap up for whatever you dont even have to be a handicap if you have a problem they will come help I found that out recently last month

Its a typical Meijer. Wifes debit card refused to work. Kept being rejected. Has only ever happened at a Meijer. There was under $250 in the cart. Had to go across the street to get money from the bank. Used the same debit card at the bank. Took money off with no problem there.

Those five stars are for the Meijer in South Haven dont ever go to the one on 16th Street in Holland Michigan if you dont have to I wouldnt even give them one star too busy to overcrowded and never what you want but the one in South Haven or treat you like a king or queen

One of only a few stores still around that offer just about everything you could want or need online and in store. Prices are very reasonable as well. Definitely worth a stop to see if they have what youre looking for. Your wallet or purse will thank you for it later.
