Sheets covering the chairs was annoying and troublesome. They didnt have chopsticks, If they did they should be on the table and you shouldnt have to ask for them. They need a shorter and simpler menu. The current menu is long and makes it hard to decide what to order. All 6 dishes we ordered were drowned in sauce that was too thick and sweet. One of the dishes was inedible because of the large amount of sauce. Medium wasnt spicy enough and the next level up was far too spicy. They need to pay better attention to customers water glasses especially when theres only 1 other table. For the quality of the food it was too expensive with dishes starting at $8.95 They shouldnt take the plates away by stacking them all at the table. They need to get something like Andes Mints instead of lolipops. They need to wash their windows.

This place is astounding! On a road trip to Seattle I stopped here with my wife and parents. We were seated in just a few minutes (even on a busy evening), the service was friendly and prompt, and the food was easily the best Thai I’ve ever had—which is no small statement since I’ve tried many places. Our order had several special deviations from the norm, and they nailed everything, taking close notes, reciting modifications back to us when the food was served. I had no doubt that they took great care to make our food carefully and masterfully. All said and done, the cost was less than I might’ve expected—though I’d gladly have paid more for the amazing experience. I highly recommend that you make the time to come here if you plan to be anywhere in the area. You won’t regret it!

This place is a bit deceiving. Its a little place and very unassuming. Its got a modest amount of seating, though there are some outdoor seats. The staff responded quickly and even with just two of them working the floor they were getting work done. And it was needed. This place is a known commodity apparently and they do quite well. When we went, it was a Sunday that was a holiday and they were still pretty bustling. The food was pretty tasty and served in large portions. We didnt get anything served on an actual boat however. No knock against them though. The food was good.

Havent eaten here yet...will do so tonight and share my thoughts. Just a comment on some ignorance from a post here on Apr 27, 2009. This poster complained of "no chopsticks on the table." Thais do not traditionally use chopsticks. The king of Thailand directed in the 1600s that Thais give them up on an effort to modernize/westernize. Whatever your opinion as to the wisdom of this you will not find chopsticks in authentic Thai restaurants. If you want to use them bring them yourself or go to a chinese restaurant. Furthermore if you go to Thailand you definitely wont find them.

We went to Noodle Boat based on the reviews and we were very disappointed. The Pad Thai was wet and too sweet, Panang curry very runny and the garlic chicken was great flavor with only 10 small pieces of chicken. We like our curry to stick to the rice a bit, not so runny it just pools at the bottom of your plate. Pad Thai should not be soupy and I really wish we had sent this back. The place is cluttered with random stuff everywhere and doesnt seem very clean. Food got cold right away so I wondered how fresh it was.

Tiny hole in the wall type place. We waited a few minutes for a table, they definitely make a bit of business. After our food arrived I totally understood why. The food was amazing! We ordered Larb Gai, Khee Mao, and Castle Noodle. Everything was great. The CN was a complete surprise (boyfriend ordered it). Their menu is quite extensive and I would recommend reading it before you go there. Im not from the area but when wver I make it within 20 miles Ill be stopping by for some awesome Thai food.

Ive been a patron of the Noodle Boat for over six years and Ive never had better Phad Thai and Tom Kai Soup food anywhere in the US and Ive been around a bit. The Yellow Curry is also delicious. I live in Seattle now so I dont get to go nearly as often as I did when I lived in Issaquah.Their quality and service has remained excellent throughout the years. I highly recommend you give them a try, especially if you live in Seattle and then help spread the word!

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Period. It was common for my family to come once a week. Sadly, when its popularity grew due to write-ups in local magazines, the owners stopped providing friendly service. They seem jadded by their sucess. Everyone seems grumpy and unwelcoming. They often rush people through lunch in order to turn over the table. The food is delicious but the service is laking warmth. I sure hope it changes.

Consistently rated the best Thai in all of King County, even by the bigger, more Seattle-focused magazines, Noodle Boat is the best Thai I have ever eaten! I love Asian food, and their commitment to their craft, their culture, and authenticity makes searching out this hard-to-find restaurant worth the drive. We are fortunate in the Greater Seattle area to have such legit Asian food, and Noodle Boat does their cultural heritage proud. Go Eat!

We have been to MANY different Thai food restaurants (its our favorite food). This restaurant is by far, the BEST Thai food place we have ever been to. The food is to die for, its just has the best flavor compared to other places. The family that runs the restaurant is very friendly and the service is good. It takes a little while for the food to come to the table, but thats because everyone knows how good it is, so they are always busy.

This is without a doubt my favorite Thai restaurant. Their menu is full of interesting dishes and they cook everything fresh. Even my Vegan friends will go out for lunch here. This is because the cooks at Noodleboat will happily make almost any dish Vegan or Vegetarian. Sometimes they are so busy you have to wait a while, but its worth it. Dont be surprised if you see some of the other restaurants Thai food workers here.

If you see a review lower than a four stars please ignore it, someone stated they lost their friendly service? No, its a restaurant that can be very busy and theyre more than likely delusional and cant tell the difference from friendly service and being pampered like a spoiled child. The food is amazing and the staff great, this is seriously some of the best Thai food you can get in the area. I recommend the Pumpkin Curry (:

The most authentic Thai food in the area! The venue is a bit small, dark and cramped, but the service is delightful and the food is outstanding! Ive been many times, and never has anyone had a unsatisfactory meal. They make the noodles fresh in house and they are amazing! Truly a family run establishment and true to the heritage. They do tend to run a bit spicy, so order a * less than you normally would

I love this place and should keep it a secret because it is that good. This is the best Thai food I have ever tasted. It is a tiny charming restaurant that is family owned. The food is amazing and if you like it hot then you will not be disappointed. In Summer -try getting take out for picnic dinner on Lake Sammamish. In fall try their pumpkin soup. Salads are freshly made and perfect with noodle dishes.
