The food was good but the service left something to be desired. When we arrived we expected to have to wait. It was a Friday night. We gave the hostess our name, which she got wrong, and told her there were two of us. We were told it would be 20-25 minutes, no problem. Another couple came in about 5 minutes later and checked in then sat down. Less than 5 minutes later they were called to a table. When I checked with the hostess, in case she missed us, I was told that it was because they only had two. I told her we only had two and were there before them and she said she had us down for four. We finally got to a table and, I timed it, nobody came to us for 11 minutes. Finally a wait staff was going by and dropped a napkin which my wife picked up for her and she asked if anyone had been there yet. She was not our wait person and had she not dropped the napkin who knows how long we would have sat there. We placed our drink order with her. Someone else brought our drinks. Finally after another almost 15 minutes our wait staff came to our table. We placed our order including an appetizer and a to good order. My wife could see the food holding area and shortly after we placed our order a short stack of onion rings showed up. I began timing and seconds short of 12 minutes the onion rings were removed and delivered to us. I checked them and they were barely warm. There were sent back without replacing. Our food was delivered by a different person. The hamburgers were delicious. We had not been asked how we wanted them done and even though it was cooked more than I normally like it was still very good and juicy. Shortly after we finished eating our wait person informed us there was going to be a delay on the to-go order since they were backed up. I told her to forget it since we had to go. The manager did come to speak with us. The manager made sure the appetizer and to-go were removed from the check and gave us a gift card for our troubles. I initially declined the card but her insisted so I took it. His actions were appreciated and we most likely will go back but unfortunately it will be with some poor expectations.

This place sucks in every way a place can suck. Weve been twice so far since moving to Redmond. The first time the hostess ignored us up front until I finally asked if we were going to be seated or if we should do it ourselves. This second time, we got an idiot for a server. She never gave us utensils -- I had to get up myself leaving my two young ones alone at the booth to go grab some forks. She came by a total of ONCE to check on us, at the end to give us the check. I ordered guacamole for an appetizer. She brought the small dressing-sized cup of guacamole but somehow inexplicably forgot to bring the chips until I mentioned it. And despite being disgusting, it came with our MAIN meal. And I still got charged for it!! My soup stayed on the counter until another server gave it to me. Half of our order was messed up or missing, the food was overcooked, overly salty, and it seems like half of what you should get. For $11 I expect more than 2 pieces of chicken strips and 4 pieces of tiny shrimp! For the amount of people who work there, it seems that no one knows what theyre doing and even worse, they dont care. HELLO MANAGER! Lets start doing your job! I asked to speak to the manager and the kid said "I dont know where he is." Wonerful. Expensive for mediocre food and truly horrendous service. And no...we did not go during a busy time either. No excuses for this disgrace of a place.

My husband and I just ate there several hours ago and I left seething. This has to be the worst service Ive ever experienced. EVER. Once seated the waitress took our orders and she seemed a bit stiff. Our water came, no ice, luke-warm. Fine, I can deal with that. And then we waited for our food to arrive, and waited....and waited. Mind you, this was a slow night. Finally our orders arrive. They were acceptable, not bad, not exceptional. No apologies on our wait time. Never once did our waitress refill our water nor did she ask how everything was or if we needed anything. Yet she passed our table so many times I lost count. She then started singing somewhat loudly to Hungry Like the Wolf and then did a little dance to it with another waitress. Wow, such entertainment! She presented our check without a thank you or a hope everything was alright. We left a .67 tip, only because my husband felt it might be a more effective message than nothing at all. Ill go one step further: She owes US. Honey, get another job.

We came on a Sunday afternoon after a couple of hour at Marymoor. We had our 3 year old twins with us so we were seeking seating for 4. I always find it interesting when a restaurant keeps you waiting for 15 minutes when you see empty tables that would work. We were seated and our server appeared quickly to take our orders. A split order of Mac-n- Cheese, a chicken teriyaki burger, and a cheeseburger. French fries were hot all 6 in each basket. When the food came the Mac-n-Cheese seemed fine, but the clam chowder I ordered was not warm and my iced chese burger was pretty cold too. I mentioned the chowder to our server who took it away. Promising to bring more. It took nearly 15 minutes for it to come . Server said they made sure it was hot. And was it ever. It was still bubbling, so it was over 200 degrees. It had formed a gelatinous layer on top. I didnt eat it. My wifes cheese burger was about as warm as my chowder.... pretty cold. I cant say I have ever had a meal at Red Robin I would recommend.

Took my son to eat here earlier tonight. Right from the start the service wasnt very good. Asked for a few things that never showed up. Then about half way through our meal, my son asked to use the restroom. After about a 2 minute trip to the bathroom, we come back to find our table had been completely cleared off. When we left, his food was barely touched, mine was not finished, our drinks still full, and not to mention my sons jacket and hat still sitting on the table. Our waiter offered to comp my sons meal and my drink, and offer us another kids meal to go. What he did not do at all was even apologize once. I appreciated the replacement meal, but the attitude of the staff was pretty despicable. I understand it was an honest mistake by someone, but at least own up to it and apologize. Anyways, will not be returning again. (I almost forgot to mention, the Burnin Love burger I had was terrible, soggy soggy soggy)

Normally I dont give chain restaurants a five-star review because... theyre chain restaurants, but in this case I make an exception because: 1) This is actually really nice for a Red Robin. The decor and the service are a clear step above every other one Ive been in. The staff, in particular, are notably better than most, and Ive always found Red Robins to make a point of having good wait-staff. And 2) I fricken love Red Robin. If you like Red Robins, then this one is better than most. If you dont... well, then I guess youll just have to live knowing that youre objectively wrong... Also, we cant ever be friends.
