We paid $40 for 2 grilled grouper sandwiches with fries and slaw (BIG surprise on the check - menu just said market price). Slaw arrived sitting in liquid, but tasted ok. Sandwiches were over cooked and the bottom piece of bread was so soggy it broke off when I picked it up. Grouper didnt even reach the edges of the bun. We ate at the Cortez location the night before and got stuffed flounder with cold stuffing. We moved a few years ago and came back for a visit. This used to be our go to fish restaurant, but the quality and service have gone WAY downhill while prices are ridiculous for grouper. I wouldnt have ordered it if I had known the cost. Youd think it would at least be cooked properly for $20 a sandwich, but alas... Well not be back again, Bonefish is so much better (and cheaper)!

After reading all the positive reviews, we decided to have dinner there. The hostess was polite and seated us rather quickly. That is where everything went downhill. Service was non-existant, except when the manager stopped at our table 3 times, other than that we hardly saw our server, Zach, and when we did, it wasnt the nicest experience. It took him 20 minutes to bring my drink to the table, and when it was brought to me, it was slammed onto the table and most of it spilled onto the table. The food was mediocre at best. Would not surprise me if it was frozen, as it sure didnt taste fresh. Will not be going back.

Had a hankering for raw oysters, place wasnt busy, sat at my favorite place at the bar. The minute I saw that Chris was behind the bar I said, oh no. He is a terrible bartender and obviously this isnt the first time Ive dealt with him. He made a mixed drink for me that didnt remotely have the correct ingredients in it - it was awful. He is inattentive to the point where hes going from one place to another, tapping on a surface but totally ignoring an empty glass or asking if everything is okay. You have to call him to get his attention! Not good. I will leave if hes there again.

I was initially very excited to eat here. I had heard good things about the food and wanted to see just how good the food was. We were greatly promptly and sat very fast. After sitting and waiting for 20 minutes just to get our drink order taken I became very upset. There were servers helping and assisting all of the tables around ours but not a single one of them took our drink order or asked us if we had, had our orders taken. I will not be going back to this restaurant again.

Fun, crazy night on Valentines Day. Slower service cause of the crowd, but Erich was a great server and food was worth the wait. Started with a dozen large raw oysters. Really nice flavor from the Gulf near Louisiana. Followed by lobster bisque. It was yummy, but would have also scored a 10 with a splash of sherry.. Entrées: swordfish, grilled. Whole Maine lobster. We didnt have room for dessert, but the Bahama Mama and Mai Tai packed a punch. Definitely recommend.

Great food and great atmosphere. The price for 12 gulf shrimp with 2 sdes was 15.99 an well worth it. However, after i got home realized id left phone there so traced it with ipad to and find my phone app just to be sure and yes it was there so went back to look for it. The entire staff searched for it to no avail. Turned out front end manager had it and was apparently going to keep it but tossed it over the fence where we found it.

If we lived closer I would come here as often as possible. Super fresh seafood, best calamari ever, and the sauce on the shrimp kaboom is out of this world great! Service is so friendly and everyone makes you feel welcome. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and try this place. You wont be disappointed. I dove in before remembering to snap a picture, so pardon the half empty plates!

Great service, prices arent crazy, seafood was over cooked. Got the captains platter not fried with upgraded scallops. Scallops were rubbery and the size of 4 quarters stacked up, shrimp was half dollar size and all in garlic butter sauce. Didnt try the oysters, but if you are looking for seafood goto walts for the same $ and get the special. You cannot go wrong!

The Anna Maria oyster bar is one place you have to eat when your traveling in Bradenton Florida. The best Oysters you will find here in Florida . The all you can eat fish and chips is the best deal around. Friendly courteous service. The Manager always stops at your table to check on your meal while helping his waiters and waitresses buss tables.

Enjoyed dining here many times over the last 18 years. And only once was a meal or service less than A-1. When I merely mentioned it the Manager he promptly removed the dish from my tab. That was 12 years ago. The Anna Maria Oyster Bar (A.M.O.B.) consistently has the best food, service and value for miles around. If you havent been there, GO.....

This restaurant is average at best... I do not understand the hype. We had the all-you-can-eat shrimp, it had no flavor. We also had a side of all you can eat potatoes sprinkled with Parmesan and it also was nearly tasteless. Caesar salad was not very good. I suggest going to another local restaurant.

We had Cinderella as our server she made our visit great. She was very attentive and alot of fun. The food was great the drinks were delicious. Mai Tai was there special Cindy recommended so we tried them an loved them. It was a rainy day and she was a definate ray of sunshine! Thank you for a fun day.

The food is very good and reasonably priced. I have had a variety of servers. Some are better than others. The location isnt so good and the decor is sort of musty and outdated, but it doesnt really take away from the experience when you get used to it. Its always very busy and the specials are great.

This place is simply fantastic! The food is always great and they have specials running all the time so youll also eat at a fair price! the staff here is always so friends and I enjoy speaking with them when I come in I recommend this to anyone who like a nice chill atmosphere and great seafood!

Great service and the food was excellent. Started with the calamari appreciate (awesome flavor, tender and virtually grease free), the gumbo was one of the best I have ever had and the shrimp Alfredo was an extra large portion and really tasty. Server Rick did an excellent job. Well be back!

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Ate at the patio, and server was attentive, funny, and jovial. Had raw oysters, and honestly, the best Ive had. Have eaten them in CA and SPI, TX. Grouper was fantastic. They were extremely friendly and mindful that was my wifes birthday. Great experience!

Pretty decent food and friendly service. My husbands grouper was great, but my crab cakes were obviously out of the freezer and didnt have much crab in them. Paper towels hanging above the tables looks absolutely awful and its pretty much the first thing you see when you walk in.
