from many friends recommendations and even their own working staff claimed they make the BEST, FRESHEST ( all the cake are make on the same day) wedding cake in town, so we decided to order our wedding cake here. Not to mention, paid with high price and we still have to do the cake decoration by our self (yes, we were told ahead, but we finished it in the rush, limited time before our wedding ceremony). On the big day, after we cut the cake and had the very first taste, we ( and most of our guests complained about it ) are VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED, the cake were very dry, it tasted werent like make on the same day, but more like the cake were made 2-3 days ago!!! The wedding day should be most memorable day to us, but just ruined by the "VERY NON-FRESHNESS" WEDDING CAKE. We tried to talk with the head of bakery chief, so he can be notified with this problem and prevent this kind of situation to happen again in the future. We sent several email to him without any reply or result after period of time. we dont know is he working on it or just ignored the problem and let it be. But this is the BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE that we received & shown how IRRESPONSIBLE they are!!

i dont know why people are raving about this place. this place has the worst service ever. I dont know who runs this place but for him or her to hire those people who dress in black walking around thinking they are so cute and so hip. there is nothing hip or cozy or even cool about this place. i would have give -0 star if i can . first i was standing at the counter just wanting to pay for the snack and there was 2 idiots just standing at the counter gigled like a little girl who obviously think they are so cute but trust me you all are not. your job is there to serve not to standing there being rude to your customer just who you might think you are so drop the attitude OMG i hate the people who works at this place, they really need to improve by hiring more proffesional rather than what they have now . No customer should put up with those workers attitude everyone of them" it just awful way to run a business".and this place is small and when other customers walking browsing their bakery and you maybe bumping into someone as well!!!!!!!!!!!good luck to be serve by the people who works there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I will never step foot in there ever again

This cafe is cute which is popular with students and many people too! Atmosphere there is relaxing and home like. The cafe is set up like little Europe and its more spacious so you can bring groups of people also and they added outside sitting area which looks beautiful in the night with lights. I also love this place because they give you samples of many different pastries to try so if your indecisive give one a try never know what you might like. This Cafe has more pastry selection than any other place in Doraville. When I usually go there I have the iced coffee which for me perfect basic drinks, I like how this drink has the coffee taste when you add cream and sugar which sometimes you dont get in other places. The pastry I had was onion bagel with cream cheese which was SO GOOD! It was so soft and the flavor of onion added twist in my mouth! They offer other thing like sandwich which I miss it because I mostly arrive after lunch time. This is also a great place to hang with your friends or study too!

Normally my experience is pretty good but I sent my elderly mother inside and they treated her like she was an idiot. A very young lady took my mothers order first(only customer inside)then took the order of a group of 7 ( same ethnicity as the cashier). My mother stood there and watched the lady prepare all of the food and drinks for the large party that came into the store and placed their order after my mother did. I know that this may sound petty but I had told my mother about how delicious the food was and it was sad to see her first experience go as it did. What it shows me is that they have not taken time to hire staff that are mature and able to provide the simple things that i enjoy. I am local to the area and have had to dismiss my last experiences here because of the indifference they have toward customer service. If you are looking for great baked goods and decent coffee head over there but if you are looking for the "local homegrown" thing.....keep moving.

I have passed this place so many times and decided to finally venture in and give it a try. There is such a huge selection that it can become overwhelming, but what stands out for me are the many samples. This tremendously helps to narrow what you will buy without purchasing something you dont like. They have a huge sitting area with nice plush chairs. There is a small outside patio. I purchased a huge bread with cheese baked on top in the middle. It was okay. My husband got a long slender cheese bread that was slathered with a sweet sauce and it was amazing. My only qualm with this establishment was that it is a little pricier than other Asian bakeries. I would stop by again if I in the area and feigning for some tasty bread. They do sell other items outside of the bakery such as sandwiches and I think pizzas.

This place is Korean bakery. I used to go almost every weekend. They had great pastry and unique drinks. But now that was 1 year ago. I am not certain if the management changed or what but their service became less than impressive. Especially female workers who take orders. I am mixed so I understand little bit of Korean. I can hear them making nasty comment about my English pronunciation as I turn around after ordering. Also, food selection is decreasing. And not par with quality they used to offer. I went again this weekend hoping something changed but I was yet again disappointed. no surprise. I talk with all my friends if its just me, but most of them concur. I found another bakery not too far called Mozart. I think they are better.

The set-up of this Korean pastry/coffee shop is great for meeting up with a friend, getting a little studying done, or even for a date. Lots of different types of seating (bar stools, small tables, window seats, and outdoor patio). I think I prefer the Mozart bakery down the road for their slightly lower prices and wider selection, but a huge plus for White Windmill is their samples! They offer a wide variety of samples, which is great if you are unfamiliar with the items and want to taste a couple before purchasing something totally unknown! The atmosphere was bustling when I went in there on a Wednesday afternoon, and parking was fine (although I could see it getting a bit tough during peak hours).

White Windmill has a great selection of Korean baked goods. The mini rice donuts are my favorite and are always the first to go, so be sure to come earlier in the day if you want to snag some of these. It is also has a pretty wide selection of coffee-based beverages, bubble teas, and smoothies. There is plenty of indoor seating and a small amount of patio seating, which is great on warmer days/nights. The cafe is open pretty late even on weeknights, which makes it a nice option for late night reading or low-key hanging out with friends. The only down side is that parking can be a bit of a hassle depending on when you come.
