Absolutely loved it. Im a big fan of Chinese Buffets / Chinese Restaurants but this one blows the rest out of the water. It starts with a very clean and tidy restaurant, appears to be all new seats, tables and light fixtures as well as all the serving trays and utensils being spotless. The food was great, everything was hot and fresh, I cant even count how many items there are! Great sushi bar, awesome ice cream bar and you can even have fresh stir-fry! This place is very professional, the staff is very courteous about taking used plates away, getting you a refill or anything else you need. This is defiantly my new favorite restaurant in Auburn ! Thanks Hibachi Buffet, I will be back again ! Also ! I talked to the owner, this restaurant is NOT related to the old King Buffet across the street !

Our family of six came in at 9pm for dinner. We were impressed with the vast selection of food choices. The seafood varieties fresh and scrumptious from stuffed crabs, shrimps, clams, green mussels, crabs, stuffed scallops, and more were so enjoyed by all of us! My four children binged on the delicious desserts and ice cream! The customer service was outstanding. Many times our table were bused by waiters with clearing away dishes and water refills without being asked. The manager was walking around checking if the patrons needs were met, and he even replaced our plates full of shells for another clean one. There were staff constantly cleaning up around the food areas to keep things orderly. It was our most pleasant dining experience ever. We certainly will return here!

Im not super crazy about buffets because food quality tends to be low, and they tend to be dirty, and screaming children with inept parents, and herds of people everywhere, its kind of a nightmare really. That said, in terms of buffets, Hibachi is a bright spot in a sea of terrible. They are clean, the food is pretty good (although the dim sum options are seriously embarrassing, guys fix that, it tastes like dog food.) The vegetables are always bright green and crispy, the options for sushi or Mongolian grill are a nice touch, and being able to finish dinner off with Sesame Balls always makes me happy. My bestie who I always end up going to this place with whines every time about wanting soft serve, so if the owners are reading this, add a soft serve machine!

Came to this buffet because the place has good reviews. We came during lunch hour and we were starving and excited to eat the food. When we were checking out the food we saw the hibachi guy coughing all over his hand and food. He would cough and the go back handling the food. That was the nastiest thing Ive seen in a restaurant. We immediately lost our appetite and left. We have to watch out what we put in our mouths sometimes. The food looked cheap and old. Dont waste your time and money. Take my advise people!!! This place is disgusting. I would rather eat McDonald 1000X!!!!

To begin with it is overpriced. It was $54 for three of us to eat. I was expecting a whole lot more for the money. Most of the food was Bland at best, or full of salt and vinegar. The Mongolian section had raw meat sitting out. This is normally frozen meat and when we ate it it was, well, disgusting. The ice cream is a self-serve like a Baskin Robbins Style. Reach your hand in and get your own ice cream. Just about everything tasted funny. I just hope that my family and I are not poisoned and throwing up tomorrow.

It may be just because Im relatively tired, take that into consideration, but the food was absolutely dreadful. It was very bland, with only a few dishes being flavorful. The sushi felt weird, chicken was dry, noodles bland... I did like the ice cream though. Although the food was awkward, the service was cool. The people are very kind, yet seating does take a while, as you have to pay and then be seated. The buffet has decent decor, with a well-organized actual buffet.

Great price for a large variety of tasty dishes. Children under 10 cheap- good place for families. Basically Asian food but they also have ribs , crawfish and a good selection of seafood. There is also a Mongolian grill but the food was a little too greasy. Nice dessert buffet with scoop your own ice cream. Used plates are cleared off your table quickly. Good service, good prices, not too bad of a wait time and a wide variety of dishes- just what you want in buffet.

Awful, the food was way below average, most seemed like it had been from the day before and stale. The sushi was not being replaced as it was being eaten, and the little bit I got to try was not tasty. Im not sure why its rated so high, low standards I suppose. Edit: save your money, go elsewhere. The waitress was also very slow at clearing our 2 plates and never explained we get our own drinks. We were ignored the entire time.

Dinner time is best time to come, Friday night wasnt terribly busy. Lots and lots of options, surprisingly good seafood choices for a buffet. Normal American Chinese selections are available along with some more different than your average ones. They seem to replenish everything pretty often and staff is timely on taking old plates. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and Id recommend to anyone looking to have good choices.

Ive lived in Auburn for two years and drive by the Hibatchi Buffet regularly. Every time I do I think, "I should take my family there..." I never did until two weeks ago. Our right year old are 4 plates of food and our super picky 3 year old asked for more! We even went back again this week. The food is hot and delicious and the place is packed with people having a good time.

This is the worst buffet I have ever been to. Rude staff, especially the old guy that watches your every move. They always check if you have any sushi when you take out. Like I would take that garbage after it spend few days in their fridge or worse. The worst thing is they throw food back to the dishes from the dirty counter. Im definitely reporting this to the state.

Wide selection. Went on a Sat about 9pm, the majority of hot food was cold and some had obviously been out long enough to be chewy or taste less than fresh. My GF observed children put food on plates with their hands and then return it back to the buffet in the same manner. This was the better of my two visits to this establishment and it will be my last.

I went here once. I thought I try it out since I love Chinese food. The egg drop soup was delicious, but everything else was very standard. I thought it was weird that they would charge you for the food you left on your plate. I was really excited to go to a Chinese buffet. I was so disappointed. I had better Chinese in Arizona and Tennesse.
